Our platform provides streamlined processes and thorough reporting tools, guaranteeing effective administration and meeting regulatory benchmarks. Because of this, Paylocity is an essential tool for any company.

Minpunten:

Paylocity's mobile app is currently more limited in functionality than the desktop version. If the app were upgraded and expanded, the user experience would be more in line with that of the desktop version.

My only complaint about Paylocity is the app could be designed a little better.

Very user friendly software and multifunctional to use for so much more than just time keeping and payroll services. It has a multitude of HR functions that not only engage employees but keeps everything in one place, making it easier and more convenient for both management and employees.

No direct contact info for assigned account managers.

Ease of use. The app is great for quick changes.

Just having to switch to a new platform. And needing to bring my laptop home for Approvals of time cards. I am off Mondays.

Paylocity is Paying Off

Opmerkingen: I work for a company that uses Paylocity. Every two weeks, I enjoy opening up my account to see my next check. But even more so, we use it to do our yearly reviews, request PTO, onboarding for new employees. and so much more.

Pluspunten:

How easy it is entering time, request PTO, how detailed the checks are, and navigate through the website.

Minpunten:

I haven't found one thing I don't like about Paylocity.

A must for people that need to access their work data

I would say the thing I like most about Paylocity is the user interface. I have found it very easy to navigate where I need to go and the interface is very responsive.

Minpunten:

The only thing I do not like is not being able to check in or check out remotely.

Convenient!

Opmerkingen: I've used Paylocity with multiple companies. It's easy to access check stubs and tax documents as needed and they appear in the portal quickly after being submitted.

Pluspunten:

It's easy and convenient to have all of my financial documents in one place. Any end user can accurately clock in and out, in addition to requesting time off and viewing documents.

Minpunten:

I have no dissatisfaction to report with Paylocity.

Paylocity Easy for Timecards

Opmerkingen: My overall experience with Paylocity has been really positive. It’s user-friendly, making it easy to track my time cards and access pay stubs. The automation features save me a lot of time, and the reporting tools help me ensure everything is accurate.

Pluspunten:

As an employee, I find Paylocity super easy for handling time cards and checking pay stubs. Clocking in and out is quick, and I can easily review my hours to make sure everything looks right before payday. I also like how I can access my pay stubs right from the app—no more waiting or asking someone for copies. It’s straightforward and makes keeping track of my hours and pay really convenient.

Minpunten:

There are occasional technical issues, like slow load times or glitches during peak hours, which can be frustrating when trying to access important information or lag time when clocking in and out.

User friendly tool even if you aren't tech savvy

Opmerkingen: Overall I would say this is a very useful tool and fairly user friendly

Pluspunten:

Its a very simple and straightforward way to organize payroll at the places I've used it.

Minpunten:

I don't like that theres not always the easiest way to use templates and replicate past entries.

Paylocity is a must have!

Opmerkingen: Paylocity has made our lives so much easier! Integrates well with other platforms, easy for employees to navigate and find what they need, and super simple to run payroll. Has saved us a ton of time and frustrations!

Love how simple the dashboard for paylocity is, it has great data and is super easy for all of our employees to navigate!

We love everything about paylocity, such an upgrade from our previous software!

Time in time out

Pluspunten:

I like being able to see my hours whenever I want. I can punch in and out on my phone. I can see if I am missing any punches.

Minpunten:

Occasionally I have had an issues with clocking in and out.

If i had to choose one thing, it would be that no matter what issue you have, you can call the 888 number, and someone will try to help you

Minpunten:

Paylocity has gotten so big, when a change is made or added they don't let us know.

The Ease of Paylocity

Pluspunten:

Its everything all rolled into one! The convince of having your time clock, payroll, schedules, HR leader boards, and so much more all in one easy and user friendly interface has so many advantages!

Minpunten:

Rounding hours to the nearest quarter hour.

Just... Don't.

Opmerkingen: Horrible. Paylocity makes my job more difficult every day. As an HR employee, Paylocity is the root cause of every problem in our department. If I had the option and Paylocity were free, I would still pay to use something else.

Pluspunten:

The visual appearance. For the most part, things LOOK professional.

Minpunten:

Everything else. Every part of the system is built to look like it works, but it all stops there. It's like a carboard cutout. Yeah, it looks like a person, but from every other perspective, there's NOTHING there.

Well-rounded HRIS

Pluspunten:

I've had many employees mention how easy the platform is to use. I, myself, enjoy the ease of set up and administration. Especially when it comes to implementing NEW modules, the team has been great.

Minpunten:

It can me almost TOO many options. But, for a certain size company, I can see the additional options becoming more important.

User-Friendly

Opmerkingen: I use Paylocity daily to clock in and out for the day and for breaks, monitor and request PTO as needed, and view biweekly paychecks.

Pluspunten:

Paylocity eliminated a need for a physical time clock. At my previous job, a line would form while employees were waiting to clock in/out and check their hours at a physical terminal, delaying the process for everyone. I am now able to clock in/out, monitor my PTO balance, and request time off on my app or from my work computer.

Minpunten:

Haven't had any issues thus far. Even if I miss a punch by mistake, it is easy to correct within the app.

Paylocity is Great at Connecting Employees With One Another.

Opmerkingen: I believe this app is an excellent tool for onboarding! It has a robust system with numerous extra features for new hires to utilize. Setting up direct deposit and tracking my hours worked was very easy.

Pluspunten:

The onboarding process was seamless and user-friendly. It offers many great tools for new hires, such as access to information about company benefits, time-off requests, various company policies, and proper procedures. I was also pleased that I could see the profiles of everyone on my team, along with their "about me" sections and list of interests. This provided some fun talking points when we finally met in person.

Minpunten:

I can't think of any serious complaints or concerns that I found when using this app.

Great Self Service Portal!

Pluspunten:

Paylocity is easy to use, and provides a great Self Service Portal for employees to be able to track time and attendance, time off, HR announcements, and pay - amongst other things! Everything you need is easy to find, visually clean and organized, and self-explanatory.

Minpunten:

There are times, when filling out the timesheet, that editing your times once entered can be finicky.

Tracking w-2’s

Opmerkingen: Paylocity is easy to see how many hours you started with the company, easy to add all your checks and easy to see all your co workers names

Pluspunten:

It’s super easy to track my W-2’s , and see how much a check would be if I missed certain hours

Minpunten:

Paylocity sometimes locks me out if you enter the password to many times

Facebook for work

Opmerkingen: It is similar to Facebook but for work. There are chats and pages to get to. Depending on the district you fall under, you have your own work tree.

Pluspunten:

What I like most about Paylocity is the chat with other people

Minpunten:

When I need to find a page and I can't find it. And that I cannot remove people from a previous chat so I see all of these chats that I can't just leave from.

Great Software

The program is easy to navigate and use.

Minpunten:

Unable to clock in and out through the actual app

It Gets the Job Done

Opmerkingen: This would be a good option for a smaller company with a fairly simple business structure. It was fairly user friendly.

Pluspunten:

It is a fairly simple system to use. Most changes in the system are linear and step by step, walking you through the process.

Minpunten:

Customer support was slow to respond and our assigned rep was often changing, which meant they had limited knowledge of the system. Ultimately we transitioned to another platform that offered more robust features such as scheduling.
