Easy and Cost Effective

Opmerkingen: Overall, I highly recommend Survey Monkey for quick and easy survey creation. Even at the free version level, there are a variety of quality features that will make this program very useful for both collecting and analyzing data. The interface is incredibly user friendly, and when used in tandem with the mobile app, this product is very convenient and effective for basic survey needs.

Pluspunten:

The Survey Monkey platform gives you a variety of ways to customize your surveys, including multiple choice, short answer, and true/false. It also allows you to easily duplicate previous surveys so that you are not re-creating templates you wish to use regularly. The platform also provides excellent analytics for reviewing responses and trends so that you can better understand and track the results of your surveys. The option to make surveys anonymous is also extremely beneficial for more sensitive topics. The best part is, all of this functionality is available through the free version of the platform. The mobile app is also incredible accessible and easy to use.

Minpunten:

The ability to truly customize your survey (logs, fonts, footers, etc.) is strictly reserved to paid subscriptions. The free version of the application gives you up to a maximum of 10 questions, so unless you want to pay the monthly fee, your surveys need to be very concise. For business use, a monthly subscription requires a minimum of three users at $25 per user. This cost adds up quickly, so unless you are implementing surveys very regularly, you may not see the full value.

SurveyMoney is one way to collect data with no hard work.

Pluspunten:

It has all what you are thinking of (templates, great interfaces, good support).

Minpunten:

The website is loaded with stuff therefore it might be easy for few to go around.

Ven Westendorp survey lacks critical analytics

Opmerkingen: SM was what was in place when I started my position, but I'll be switching us to something else as soon as our contract expires.

Pluspunten:

Fairly inexpensive and useful for setting up surveys for your own panels.

Minpunten:

Survey Monkey's proprietary user panels were extremely inconsistent - I would not recommend their use for professional surveys. Customer service was abysmal, emails took over 24 hours to get a reply. They had a payment outage and refused to continue a stopped survey. This caused a nearly a week-long delay for a survey with an estimated "24 hour" completion time. Van Westendorp survey analysis uses a different UI and dashboard than their standard surveys for some odd reason - the issue is it lacks even basic filtering and sorting tools and is practically unusable. I had to calculate rudimentary data using excel which tripled the time required for basic analysis.

Easy-to-Use SurveyMonkey Platform for All Your Survey Needs

Opmerkingen: I have been very pleased with my experience using SurveyMonkey. I love how easy it is to create surveys and the many features available to customize them. The results are easy to understand and export in different formats. The only downside is the loading time and lack of customization options.

SurveyMonkey has been a great tool for me to create surveys quickly and easily. It is user-friendly and has many features to customize surveys to fit my needs. I love how I can quickly analyze results and export them in different formats.

Minpunten:

The one downside I have found is that the surveys sometimes take a while to load, and the page often freezes. I also wish there were more options for customizing the look and feel of the survey.

SurveyMonkey is the best way to informally survey at work

Pluspunten:

It's very easy to quickly set up a survey and it guides you towards the best options for the questions you want to ask. Even if you are just using the free version, there is plenty to work with to get a useful survey together.

Minpunten:

SurveyMonkey is best for shorter, more informal surveys in my opinion. It isn't as easy to customise in all the ways you might want to if you were conducting a study for a piece of academic research for example.
