Opmerkingen: Overall our experience has been great! All the automation saves us lots of time and makes us look more professional as well.
Pluspunten:
We like that it's cloud-based so we can access it from anywhere on any device at any time we choose. It's also very user-friendly for those taking reservations and the ability to easily take online reservations is great.
Minpunten:
Can be a little challenging when making changes in the backend, but if we ever have any issues tech support walks us through it.

Exceptional Service on a Sunday Morning
Opmerkingen: Tourism Creatures manage approx 20 properties on rms and the customer service has always been outstanding.
Pluspunten:
Sunday morning user profile issues. Submitted service request and received a lovely phone call from [sensitive content hidden] who solved my Access Profile Issue so I could continue with my scheduled project with no delays.

The worst system and experience. Never ever RMS
Opmerkingen: I have been introduce with RMS connection on December 2022 name of sales [sensitive content hidden]. After introducing of the demo was promised -system have a great use on the computer and mobile version is responding perfectly(which was the most important to me) - set up takes few days and will be all,set up to the desired result - training team is professional - support is professional and responding 24 hours -system is fast -integration of the system and Quickbooks is free EctWhile I sign the contract and paid for the training fee 1700 dirham I quick start completing all papers I was asked for. However once training started, after 2 session the team stopped as many options was not set properly. I have kept waiting for months and no one getting back to me. I have re call and recall and finally I had response that the training will restart on June 2 , 2023 (6 month after the sign of the contract) Thought ok and had fixed a meeting with new training team this time name [sensitive content hidden]. From the first day of training the things has stopped working again. Many errors coming, many things are not set, cleaning fees, financial parts. Anyway keep going till [sensitive content hidden] fixed some and again very pation 3 to 4 days to be done. Fail to connect any of OTA. They will never respond again

Nothing. Was totally a disappointing from the start, the system the team, the help is zero. Unprofessional

Nothing to like, the promises are fake, they will take the money from you and sent you to very unprofessional people. Fail to connect and over booking a lot. Picked wrong prices.

I really enjoy how many features the system holds. It takes a while to learn but the system really has options for every application. Ease of use is not always simple but customer support is very helpful
Minpunten:
It is tricky to know exactly where to go to streamline working through an issue. Most errors are solvable and explainable it’s just learning where to look.

History of customers, fairly intuitive to use and train staff.

Integration was tricky but we ironed out the issues over time.
Once you understand the program, easy to use
Opmerkingen: The most frustrating thing about RMS is the inability to speak to an individual when you encounter a problem. You write a message and often never hear anything back, despite multiple attempts.
Pluspunten:
The interface with Owner Accounting is extremely useful for us. We can use the pre-set reports to account for the rentals on a monthly basis.
Minpunten:
There are some complicated intricacies in setting up the software. If you do not categorize things properly then the reports issued are not correct.
We have been sold on other systems, made the change and always end up back!
Opmerkingen: We have actually moved to 2 other well known systems and moved back because we have found none of them stand up to RMS.
Pluspunten:
I love all of the features, in addition to just reservations, we use it all. Maintenance management, texting, interactive documents, online booking, meter reading and more.
Minpunten:
Online booking is still a bit clunky. The interactive map is difficult to find from a mobile device. I wish customers could choose to pay online with the vault.

I find the overall RMS cloud management for my accommodation business to be superior and easier for all staff to use than other property management systems.
Minpunten:
There is nothing that I can condider that I am unhappy with or does not meet my needs. If ever I have a problem it is a connection drop out or the operator (including myself) may need further training using the help menu.

just its simplicity and visually everything is in the one screen.
Minpunten:
We are using RMS enterprise and our main issue is we are unable to roll over repeat charges differently at each park one of our parks have residents and their repeat charges need to roll every week our other parks only have annuals and would like to roll over 70 days before due date but we are unable to to this (this was one thing we liked about Newbook)

Be Patient!
Opmerkingen: The journey starts with a completely different mindset when using the software compared to other products. Once you have spent the time becoming accustomed to the product, it flows better than what we previously have used. RMS Apartment is our PMS software and our channel manager all in one. Further development will see RMS become the leader in PMS software in my opinion.

Minpunten:
The lack of data conversion from my previous software. The outsourcing of the training to a third party "trainer". The channel manager needs developing and simplifying.

Intergration issues with booking.com and Expedia, that allow overbooking because a booking can come through as a qoute without having a room assigned. Minimum deposit of 0.01 cent required to save a credit card on a online booking through rms booking page.
My Online Travel Help
Opmerkingen: With RMS Cloud, I found a travel assistant I can rely on and trust with my bookings. I never have to worry if the hotels are legit or if my payments go through. I am confident that it's all taken cared of.
Pluspunten:
What I like most about the RMS Cloud is it makes makes my booking reservations easy and they have this calendar system to remind me of my upcoming trips.
Minpunten:
So far it serves its purpose as my online travel assistant so it's all good.

selection of sites for multiple online bookings are no longer available. If you have a group reservation, the requirements on each folio do not automatically transfer to the group folio - they have to each be transferred manually.
All-rounder PMS Software with fantastic online channel integration and automation
Opmerkingen: Overall RMS has increased our efficiency, after some initial adjustments during the integration phase. The comprehensive reporting capabilities provide valuable insights quickly and easily, and the online 2-way integration cuts down manual booking input and admin considerably, along with the payment gateway integration for processing payments. Will definitely recommend to other Serviced Apartment providers looking for a modern, cloud-based PMS with efficient channel integrations and customisation options for various setups.
Pluspunten:
The best part about the software is having everything in the one place to create, confirm, and process bookings including sending correspondence accessible anywhere from any device. The ability to connect an online payment gateway has greatly increased productivity and efficiency to allow staff to process payments quickly and easily without leaving their desk. The online channel connection is seamless and has reduced a lot of manual staff input for OTA reservations.
Minpunten:
While the integration team have been great, there are still a few things we require to be able to satisfy our full accounting reporting requirements quickly and efficiently for our business set up. Granted, it does differ to some other properties, however we do require a few enhancements for this to be efficient for us. The online booking engine, while cost effective and easy to use is quite limited and does not do much to compete with OTA's to enhance the property's direct bookings - this is potential room for enhancement.
RMS Training or the lack of!
Opmerkingen: New to the business 18 months ago and not soo young! we are looking forward to a break however, our biggest worry is leaving the park with someone because of RMS? - I think that we need a package named RMS Lite "Caravan/Holiday Park friendly) and someone to install and train the trainee face to face.

Once you understand it - it can be useful however, it is impossible to recommend that has you afraid of it!!
Minpunten:
Hard to understand/use and achieve the most out of the programme - lack of one to one training and follow up by the company to support - train and help the users - over the web based training lacks understanding of the trainee - face to face you can see and check for understanding of the trainee. I am sure that more attention is required in this area so that the users can achieve a greater understanding and not be afraid to use the product features ---- please check with other users as I am sure that you will enhance the reputation of your brand and gain far more than loyal users.

Accommodation Software

Pluspunten:
Most functions work seamlessly and are the same where ever I have used the program. I have been using this program since 2004 in various places and it is relatively easy to keep up with the changes/upgrades as they are implemented
Minpunten:
Sometimes slow reaction times and dropouts, but nothing is perfect. It would be good if there weren't changes all the time, if its working don't change it doesn't fit all businesses

The integration with Swiftpos is ok some issue every now and then, especially when you update RMS and the other software provider is not aware, it makes it difficult then i have to chase both providers to fix the issue.
Minpunten:
that you have to go back to the reservation to see the entire credit card details to charge your customer when you pay with eftpos. double endling the data has you need to see how much you have to charge (especially if you had cc fees manually) If we could see the entire card instead of the last 4 digits it will be so much better.

Opmerkingen: My overall experience has been very good. There was extensive training and support when the program was first set up. RMS is one of the easier reservation program that I have worked with.
Pluspunten:
I like that the program is customizable to our campground even though this is a hotel system. The programmers have made it easier to change rates for the units. Tech support has been very good in resolving service requests.
Minpunten:
The pencil-in tool still needs some work. I'm not able to write any comments on pencil-ins. I never use the convert pencil-in to booking because it doesn't do it correctly. There is a domino effect that is not good with the remaining units on hold that get converted. Also the group bookings are difficult to navigate especially for new employees.

For the most part it’s good. Have had some issues in the past that took a while to work out. Now things are better.

It’s a little difficult to use fir people that are nit the best on the computer and to get training you must pay more. And it’s expensive.

Software has gone down at our busiest times with little to no communication about what happened. Very hard to get through to customer service techs. Most techs have a hard time understanding the issues.
