I was able to afford to get some things for my home without having to break the bank because sezzle breaks the payments up into 4 smaller payments and takes the payment out of your account automatically. It is exactly how it is described in the ad, buy now pay later. I also love that they do not accrue interest. I get paid on Fridays and sometimes I don't always shop on Fridays. After the first-time payment you MUST add a bank account or be penalized by being charged almost five dollars each time you need to load money onto the account. If you have chosen a “pay in 4 payments purchase”, the fees add up to almost twenty dollars, for a single purchase. When you close the account, any remaining balance will be forfeited. I had twenty-nine dollars and fifty cents in my balance but was unable to spend it because the minimum virtual card that can be created is thirty-five dollars. It seems a virtual card is the only way to spend the balance of the account. I cut my losses and closed my account and forfeited the remaining money.
