Opmerkingen: I like Payoneer. Thanks to it, I can receive my money for work on foreign platforms (and most of these platforms use it), in addition, I can be sure that my bank details are safe. The website/app interface is uncomplicated and intuitive, making it easy for a layman like me to use. And payments have a small fee, which makes it more advantageous than other platforms.

I definitely love Payoneer, however, the customer support needs to be faster. Because when I enter some wrong information more than once, they block my account temporarily (I know this is for security), but when I contact support to clarify, most of the messages are automatic, and not from some real/human consultant to solve. This makes me irritated, it takes something that was supposed to be simpler.

The security system is paranoid, they force you to provide a bunch of documents (more than in a regular bank). The account is often blocked for strange reasons. It is impossible to make payments within the system (the stupidest limitation) Two-factor authentication does not work well; messages are often not sent, leaving you without access to your account at the most critical moment. Also, you are often forced to change your password, but since your account is blocked while changing the password, you have to solve this through the support service, which works very poorly

There is a number of countries that you cannot deliver a physical card to, also some sites don't have the option of paying using Payoneer

The Most Terrible Client Support I've Ever Seen

Minpunten:

The client support has been frustrating, providing no real solutions and consistently responding with emails asking me to wait for 1-3 business days. On October 8, I unintentionally received a payment from a personal bank account (since Payoneer restricts payments only to business bank accounts). Payoneer informed me that the incoming payment couldn't be processed, and the funds would be returned to the initiator within 7-10 business days. As of November 22, the initiator had not received the refunded money. Concerned about the safety of my funds, I reached out to Payoneer's client support for information on the return process. Despite my expectations of a resolution, I only received emails advising me to wait an additional 1-3 business days for updates on my ticket. Some responses mentioned a "pending" status, with promises to contact the finance team to expedite the refund. However, no progress was made. Now, on December 20, after two and a half months of regular support requests, I still don't have any clarity. The only consistent response I've received is to wait for 1-3 business days. I remain uncertain about why Payoneer is holding my funds for such an extended period, and I still have no timeline for the funds to be returned to the initiator.

I don't get why it exists at all. I can't like anything since it's only an extra unnecessary layer of bureaucracy. If the companies I work with could simply pay directly to my bank... Payoneer is like that company that seems to exist to get profit and not for any other purpose. I would be even ready to pay a few bucks extra for bank fees if I could avoid using their services.

Customer support. I have had an issue for over 2 months and they can't do the simplest tasks. Every time I call and text them we start from the beginning. I know I'm talking to people and they are obliged to do everything according to the list of actions prescribed to them but sometimes seems like GPT is smarter. For 2 months they have been working on my case (Which is super simple), they send me emails every second day and they are still on the very first step of "reviewing" the issue with a relevant team and "verifying" so that it will take 24-48 hours, please get back to us then so we can start the whole process from the beginning. The process is going on and no one can influence that. Exactly like in Kafka's books.
