Personal View on Paypal

Pluspunten:

I love that I can get my money from abroad to my bank account. I find that the fees that they charge are super reasonable and that it has the best currency conversion.

Minpunten:

I just wish it had a tracking program especially when one is making an internal currency in a different currency. I also wish one had an option to create a quote before converting currencies.

Easy to use payment processor

Opmerkingen: After almost 3 years of using PayPal, it is still the only platform that I send invoices from outside of offline banking.

Pluspunten:

I think their best feat would be the ease of initially setting up the account and sending invoices, their customer service is top-notch. When I had emergencies I was able to get hold of them even during weekends.

Minpunten:

The only con that made me reconsider using the Paypal Commerce Platform was the transaction holdups at the beginning and the source of funds verification that I needed to provide to their customer service to be able to unfreeze the transactions. This was prominent in the beginning of implementing this solution.

It can take a long time to process payments to my account, they charge fees and they are not known to be very secure.

if you cant do it with paypal it might not be legal

Pluspunten:

The commerce platform from PayPal is well made and straight forward. It is quick, somewhat simple and easy accessible. It provides all of the tools that you may need for business transactions and invoicing, receiving and sending of funds and reporting.

Minpunten:

Some of the functions lag from time to time, reload in the middle of the data entry process, but it is not an often occurrence. The platform does not have many glitches or major down sides, it will give you some headache from time to time but it is stable, safe and secure - and that is what matters.

Opmerkingen: Easy to transfer and accept money, at one click. I like that it gives timely updates on each step of the process to my email. Free transfer and paid transfer options are good depends on the urgency of the users. I prefer to use Free transfer.

Pluspunten:

I use PayPal for online transfers. Easy sharing of information securely, and the transfer was hassle-free.

Minpunten:

The Paypal asked to change the account password, thought it was a good practice to keep the account secure. But no other accounts I use ask the times like Paypal to change the password.

- searching for transactions could be improved - requires 2 factor authentication which can be hard if you travel internationally - high transaction fees

I have tried setting up my work account on my personal laptop/ phone for when I am remote working, or travelling to another propperty but I can't log in. Someone suggsted this could be due to my devices capability etc however this is something to bare in mind.

Customer service wasn’t the best

I liked how easy it is to set up and use. It’s an established platform that makes me feel safe about them having my information.

Minpunten:

I encountered an issue with a customer and needed to have it looked into and possibly refund money. Customer service proved difficult and in the end was not helpful in solving my issue. I seemed to just get automated responses.

Great Tool for Paying and Receiving money for E bay transactions

Opmerkingen: Overall I am satisfied with the product

I like the easiness with which this tool can be integrated with my Ebay selling account. The features related to dispute resolution are also good for both buyer and seller. The money transfer to the bank account is instantaneous.

Minpunten:

There are a number of this which can be improved in PayPal, first and foremost the fees charged is very high which should be reduced. Also for new sellers PayPal holds the money for 21 days which is a huge bottleneck.The dispute resolution process is good but its very time consuming.

Paying in new Technological System

Opmerkingen: It solves many things like how to bill to clients, how to make payments and how to accept payments globally. It is more beneficial for me to have because of the fact that it resolves the difficulty in transacting payments directly to the your banks. It is more controlling since it is just in your fingertips to click on and have deal with it all the way.

I like the way its system and management's implementation on this platform. It is a new innovative technology that encompasses my knowledge on this new journey in technology. I just love the way it bills my clients and pay my bills.

Your fast and worry-free online payment method

Opmerkingen: My experience with PayPal Commerce Platform is satisfactory.
I can take this wallet with me anywhere and transact quickly. The biggest problem solved is certainly the low cost, we don't have to pay monthly fees and the fee is very small. To receive values, we can charge in installments and still receive the total amount. We have no security issues with the platform and support is fast. We're satisfied.

Money comes in fast and so do payments. Support responds quickly and is rarely used. The layout is basic, uncomplicated. When accessing the website or application, they always ask for a security check, which is very important because the platform has our personal and banking data. I always recommend the platform to others.

What I like least is that when I open the app on my cell phone, in addition to the digital one, it also asks me to confirm the device by text message, this bothers me. Sometimes the message takes a while to arrive and then I end up taking a while to access the panel. if I already use my fingerprint, this confirmation via message or email might not be necessary. It could just be a previously registered password, a password. Having to access a code in SMS or e-mail is a waste of time.

In my opinion it has few disadvantages. It can be difficult to integrate the payment gateway with a website. In our case and at the time, we had to hire a technician or specialist to do it, we couldn't do it. We have also noticed that the commissions that PayPal receives are a little higher than other payment gateways. And finally, what has caused us the most problem is that we cannot transfer the funds from our paypal account to a bank account. For most Latin American countries, Paypal does not allow it.

Wish all my customers paid via PayPal

We have a very liberal return policy to account for this complexity. PayPal is the company which makes our customer support deparment smile when they process a return and discover the customer paid with PayPal.

I manage an e-commerce site which accepts all forms of traditional credit cards and PayPal for customer checkout. I deal daily with the big 3 processors and PayPal and to say the differences are oceans apart is an understatement. PayPal's customer support and processes are the gold standard in the online payment processing world. You get the right answer the first time every time. Their payment and refund policies are fair, accurate, and timely. They are a pleasure to do business with.

My only complaint about PayPal is that not enough consumers utilize their service. I am sure they share this same complaint with themselves.

Great as a user, problems as a seller

As a complany, it gives you very good reputation if you enable your costumers to pay with PayPal (without charge).

The customer y very well sheltered if he pays with PayPal but as a seller you can see that the client is not always right and it is quite difficult to prove it with PayPal.

Opmerkingen: I had started using this platform one and half years ago and I feel very convenient receiving payments from my clients worldwide. You can access your account at your fingerprints using your phone device.

In some situations, the waiting time for the resolution is longer that it should be but that is bearable.
