The auto attendant is a game changer\! We no longer have to have a receptionist constantly monitoring the phones. Admin features are super easy to access - we used to have to go through a long list of numbered menu options to set out-of-office messages, change settings, etc. and could only do that if we were physically in front of the office phone. Now, all phone system settings can be easily managed online through the admin portal. > > **Minpunten**: There's a small learning curve, particularly with using the desktop phone at the office, but there's not anything that stands out that I don't like\! > > We would have been unable to transition to a hybrid work-from-home schedule during the pandemic without Univerge Blue Connect\! Our local provider (shout-out to Heritage Communications in Sherwood, AR\!) provided installation, training sessions, and continued support to make the transition seamless. The auto attendant has made things more efficient as people can just choose the person they need to speak with from the menu options, rather than explaining the reason for their call to a receptionist then being transferred. I love how the Univerge Connect app connects my desktop phone, cell phone, and computer for easy use. I can check voicemails, set my phone message, chat with coworkers, meet virtually, check call history, even text from our office phone number - all online\! Software upgrades are frequent to address bugs which results in a lot of ongoing upkeep to stay recent. > > NEC has provided a consistent and stable communications environment for our corporate office which has maintained 99% uptime since installing. While their platforms are capable of delivering modern features and keeping up with current business trends, the software is often inconsistent. They try to deliver the new features but due to limitations of their aging core product new features come with many limitations and conditions, and also complicated configuration and deployment.
