Many features. Pretty easy to use.
Opmerkingen: i have used this a few times to generate websites. i have also used other tools for the same purpose, and i find Fusion easier to use.

you can use this software to generate a fully featured website, and you can do it without taking a ton of time to learn how to use it.
Minpunten:
sometimes it can take some effort to get it to do what you want.

NetObjects Fusion For Creating Awesome Websites
Opmerkingen: This program was featured by our web hosting company when we opened our first website. It started with so many features and templates and themes that we downloaded and printed the instruction manual to provide copies to the development team. Our first site was awesome and since we have learned a lot as we have gone through a number of upgrades and created hundreds of websites, some simple and some more complicated with database and interactive features.
Pluspunten:
Initial start-up is easy and once you get going this program is awesome to set up websites. We have created hundreds from simple informational to commerce and interactive websites. The efforts to learn the program, which are now rather simple, can create some awesome websites. We have people request we create sites for them, but that is not our company direction. Even if you start off with their free Essentials start-up software, you can create some great websites from the start with little programming knowledge. That is basically what the program is designed to do. Paid upgrades later are worth the very reasonable price. Dialog boxes, photos, internal and external links, adding pages and content, modifications are all so easy. We still have access to content from sites long closed and access the information periodically for use/export elsewhere.
Minpunten:
Higher learning curve than plug and play cookie-cutter software. But you will definitely gain knowledge about website creation.

A great package to get started with and learn
Opmerkingen: I started using NetObjects Fusion for my video catalog - which allowed me to organize my website far easier then it ever had been before. The visual map of the website is very helpful for more complicated sites like mine.

What I like most about NetObjects Fusion is how simple it is to do pretty much everything. You're only limited by your imaginaton when it comes to your website or what you want on it. Often times with other software or doing things by hand, it's hard to get things straight and aligned. One of the best things about NetObjects is that it doesn't over complicate things. All the most common features one would want are all plainly located and not hidden in sub menus. It can be a chore with other platforms to align everything and have it looking proper, but with NetObjects, it really does embrace the WYSIWYG school of thought. So pages with a lot of text or photos can all look straight and neat when you come to it.
Minpunten:
I can't think of anything too negative to state about my use of NetObjects. It can "hang" a bit when you have a lot opened, but I don't know if that is entirely the fault of the software. I wish it had some "themes" to it, for the actual package. Some of the templates I've used come off as a bit too involved for the average user - but of course one doesn't need to use them. It's a great little piece of software, that I hope is not totally made obsolete with more robust packages.

I have created 30 page websites with it and updated them continually.
I called tech support once in 15 years.Without any background at all
you can create a website in one hour and upload it.
Pluspunten:
I have used Net Objects for 15 years.You can make a website from start to finish without any prior website experience. I merely follow the easy directions.There is very little theory learning curve.Just be patient and learn as you go. The Free Edition gives you everything you need.
Minpunten:
Some of the advanced functions do not work well. I would advise any one to stick to what is readily apparent and obvious.

This was a very easy product to use up until the 2010s. It allowed for individual creativity, but was easy to use. The learning curve was fairly easy and the result was a quality website. Cost effective Had good templates if you needed a start toward a nice website Flexible to use and filled with ways to streamline the development of website
Minpunten:
This is not-so-much a con, as it is a statement of the times. The industry has moved toward a more cookie-cutter set of website designs, cloud-based and therefore less convenient than the software packages currently in vogue.
