Best tool for Outbound Email

Pluspunten:

This is my main tool to send Outbound emails at scale. You can build powerful sequences combining Linkedin, emails and APIs (That you can send an SMS f.e).They are always improving the product and always building new features.Using the API really unblocks the next level of this and you can do cool stuff when you know someone clicked an email f.e.

Minpunten:

The integration with Hubspot could be better. It's constantly disconnecting leads that we import for a campaign through a hubspot list

Big fan of this tool. Offering an amazing degree of personaliziation

Opmerkingen: Lemlist was extremely helpful in personalizing outreach at scale. You get a lot for your money. Extra features like the pods or super fast customer service make this tool a no-brainer when it comes to cold outreach.

Minpunten:

The only thing about this software which was not to rate five stars was the design (UI). Used light-grey and white elements were sometimes hard to find..

Great outreach platform but lacks integrations

Opmerkingen: Real focus on deliverability and staying out of spam filters which is what you want from an outreach platform, but no integrations apart of salesforce and Hubspot which is very annoying. The reporting was not great and you couldn't build custom reports for your needs

Pluspunten:

The focus on deliverability and avoiding spam filters, lemwarm

Minpunten:

No good integration with CRMs, we use Zoho CRM and we found it very hard that it did not have a native integration with it and that is the reason we stopped using it.

Lemlist Rocks!

Opmerkingen: Warming up campaigns is definitely one of the biggest wins. I love how you can still use lemwarm even after warming up a campaign to keep your inbox engaged and healthy. The statistics for lemwarm and many others make it very easy to keep your inbox happy and healthy. The dynamic images and pages definitely help break the normal boring messages that most of us have all received at some point. It creates a very personal touch even if it is automated. They amount of templates available straight out of the box, definitely helps someone get started.

Pluspunten:

The ease and flow of the UI/UX is absolutely beautiful. Very Dynamic software and very creative with dynamic images and Landing Pages. One of the biggest things that brought me to the platform from using a different service is "Lemwarm" and the ability to automatically warm up your inbox before getting ready to launch a campaign. So many amazing features. There was definitely thought and intention with the entire platform to embody everything needed to launch a "cold" email campaign that doesn't feel so cold.

Minpunten:

Downsides? What downsides? ;) i definitely haven't found anything about the platform or Lemlist, that I don't love!

Great platform, great support

Opmerkingen: The application is really central to our outbound efforts and has helped us run multiple campaigns to reach target audiences we've previously found difficult to connect with. But their real asset is the support and guidance, continuously providing ideas and ways to improve. This have been really valuable.

Pluspunten:

Application is really easy to use. Easy to personalise email messages and create follow ups to generate leads. Thery're continuously improving the platform and it's now easy to message linkedin contacts within each campaign. Data can imported directly from Linkedin or other sources and have features to ensure email addresses don't bounce.

Minpunten:

After an import, reviewing contacts can be time consuming especially in multi touch campaigns. I end up deleting emails deemed risky or undeliverable one by one as I haven't worked out how to filter them and skip a predefined batch.

User friendly and fulfil all requirements

Opmerkingen: Overall I am happy with the Lemlist and the best thing is their Lemwarm which makes my domain reputation high across my email campaign tenure.

Pluspunten:

The integration with CRM is easy. Importing contact from CRM is just one click away. It is very user-friendly. List and different accounts/email management are trouble-free. The support reply back within 15 minutes of the ticket being raised. The best thing is Lemwarm.

Minpunten:

The newly changed Lemlist version is a bit difficult and has some bugs. But the Lemlist team keeps working on it.

Personalized email outreach platform

Opmerkingen: Overall experience with lemlist is pretty good it almost covers all the requirements for an email marketing tool.

Pluspunten:

It allows me to create highly personalized email templates and campaigns with many variables like images. It also offers A/B testing that helps me to optimise my email campaign. And it's user-friendly interface is so good that even a person who is new to email marketing can use this platform.

Minpunten:

Although it provides Analytics for your email campaign it is not that extensive compared to some other email marketing tools in the market.

Opmerkingen: Lemlist is an easy solution to integrate my CRM with my email list while personalizing my campaigns. My CRM automatically gets filled with new leads, I write a personalized icebreaker message and the rest is done by Lemlist automatically.

Pluspunten:

Lemlist was very easy to set up. I got my first campaign running within minutes. It supports my own server (using IMAP) and doesn't require a specific service. Also, the features it provides are really good for doing personalized campaigns - for example, I love being able to personalize the pictures I send to my subscribers. Also, the icebreaker feature has got me several important clients.I needed to contact the support once, but not for a bug but for something I didn't understand at first. Not only did they help me solve all of my problems, they also taught me how to order a beer in French!Awesome product by an awesome team!

Minpunten:

Lemlist isn't the biggest company and sometimes it shows, their documentation isn't always up to date or lacks minor details. Apart from that, I love Lemlist for what it is and wouldn't change a thing for now.

Lemlist makes cold emailing into a personal and fluid experience

Opmerkingen: I have been able to save time on my cold email outreach because of the streamlined process that Lemlist offers. It does everything needed for cold emails, and doesn't try to be everything to everyone. Instead of finding a "jack of all trades" tool, Lemlist has been my "Master of cold email" tool.

Pluspunten:

I love the simplicity. The "dashboard" is broken down into sections, and each section isn't littered with menus and filters. It's just organized easy from the beginning so the need for the extra complexities is eliminated. That doesn't mean Lemlist is basic in functionality. It just means they have thought it through so you don't have to "figure out" how to use it. The support has also been very responsive, and features have been added regularly since I have been using Lemlist. You can tell that Lemlist is a love for them, which is awesome. I love that you can personalize your emails, and they even let you personalize meme images to include. Though this isn't a feature I'll be using much, it's a great new way of interacting with certain types of contacts. And it adds some personality to cold emails, which are usually, well, pretty cold feeling. Ultimately, Lemlist simplifies and personalizes the cold email process, and doesn't bog you down with the process. It's the easiest cold email outreach tool I've seen, and while it doesn't have every feature in the book, it benefits from having the specifically targeted and streamlined features it does contain.

I would like to see the ability to connect to an SMTP server instead of just Gmail, but with Gmail aliases, I can use any email I want. So I can get around it. But would love to see direct support for SMTP My only wish would be that I wish there were more options for sending followup drip emails. Right now, you can choose a time period to lapse between emails, and you can select whether to end a campaign if somebody clicks. But I would like the ability to send a different email if they click on a link, and a different email if they do nothing. So some branching would be good to see. Or only end a campaign if they click a specific link, or visit a specific page on my site, etc. But other than that, Lemlist does exactly what it is supposed to.

Great product with a VERY dedicated team

Opmerkingen: It is refreshing to have a tool which is not a burden but an actual tool that helps me do my job.

Pluspunten:

First of all, the product does everything it says on the box and does it without any hiccups. It is also very clear that the team is working hard on it, improving it every day. I also have to mention the customer support which is the best I've seen in my life, personable, helpful.

Minpunten:

There are some minor improvements that could be made (and a major one (in my opinion)). I've shared this with their product manager so I'm sure they're on top of it. I also hear it's not the cheapest of tools (I don't handle the budget, but I've heard people complaining :)).

not the nicest support

Opmerkingen: ive been having an issue where i think my ip is blocked on their side so i cant connect any email to their service anymore but they dont seem to know whats happening. weve been on the case for days with my domain name provider and lemlist and its been established that lemlist has an issue but none can do anything. i then ask for a refund but they keep refusing or ignore the request. their service support isnt always available either during their working hours and if youve been talking to someone, none will actually take on your c ase, they'll just tell you to wait for the one whom youve previously dealt with.

Pluspunten:

the tool is useful and user friendly it has nice functionalities but nothing can be done for you if your issue is IT related....

Minpunten:

the customer support that doesnt seem to know much about issues the tool has and are relieved when they think the problem isnt theirs and kinda tell you to bog off

Nothing short of AMAZING!

Opmerkingen: Simplistic and easy bulk email automation for my outreach and sales campaigns

Pluspunten:

Constantly trying to improve the software base on customer feedback! They also have helped with thinking "outside the box" on grabbing the attention of people you email with their image templates. Competes with some of the other top email automation and outreach software and I am certain they will be a staple in the industry before too long. Genuinely want to make their product one of the best and don't mind you reaching out to them on their social profiles. What companies want to connect and build lifelong relationships with you on a personal level? So glad I had the opportunity to have Lemlist a part of my marketing and email strategy. Definitely give them a try even if you are using something else at the moment. You just may find you love what they have to offer!

Minpunten:

I do not have much bad to say about Lemlist. For a software that is new in the space, they are on track to produce something truely amazing. There are features I could use that are not available as of yet like being able to schedule time blocks when emails can go out. For example, the software sends out emails from 6a-9a and then again at 6p-9p instead of having one huge time block but I am sure something will be in the works before too long.

I've bought it almost exclusively because of its option to send each recipient image with different text over it.

Minpunten:

Currently I am using gmass.co (integrates with gmail and sends emails with custom variables from google sheets file) and SEO PowerTools LinkAssistant (sends emails with custom variables from its outreach table) for outreach. I have also used ARP reach and some other software packages extensively in the last few years, so I would say that I am proficient in outreach. In order to use Lemlist more I need to see three things: - ability to use my own SMPT server - editable table with contacts (name, email, other custom variables I might need) which is easy to use (something like a google sheets. It doesn't have to have many options, just editing fields in the table would do). This is needed so that I can easily see list of recipients and add/edit/delete them as necessary - ability for Lemlist to warn me if I am sending an email to a a contact which I already contacted with the same email template There are more, I am following your Trello feature request board. All in all, you are on the good path and I am excited about new options. All the Best, Vojkan

Fully Featured with Great Customer Support

Pluspunten:

Lemlist is a great email software package that keeps on getting better, quickly! They have a Facebook group that they are very responsive in and when they see a good idea, they implement quickly. The head representative shows that he really cares for his customers and aims to build a top notch product. Their articles on how to get the best out of their software are very thorough.

Minpunten:

I got a great deal on the software early on from a deal they had when acquiring a user base on Appsumo. That being said, the ROI one can achieve by following the software can far outshine what one would ever pay. That being said, they now have an upgrade to video that I would love to get my mits on, but alas I'm being cheap and refuse to pay the upgrade cost right now as I have software that duplicates that functionality... Okay, that's what I like least. haha. I'm sure it would be more than worth it for user that doesn't have the video capability already.

Brilliant outreach tool

Not much really. I would prefer more direct integrations. But Zapier fills this gap for the moment.

Lemlist is amazing!

It gives you the ability to present personlized multi media content to your clients.

Pluspunten:

Lemlist is a super product. It lets people create customized emails and send to their lists. It is outbound marketing at its finest. It has a great user interface and the "killer app" part is the images that are customizable for my clients. It changes the game as far as open rates and click rates!

Minpunten:

The changed the name of "Contacts" to "Buddy-to-Be". While I appreciate the sentiment...it makes the user interface a little more confusing.

Poor customer service, UI clunky and unintuitive

Opmerkingen: Coming from a small business, lemlist was good for initially warming up my email domain, however, I would not recommend them due to an overall clunky UI and just very poor customer service. The fee for their basic version is now $49/person, not $29. Poor customer service - However, I've had several experiences with the customer service that were not ideal. The support reps I messaged took several hours to respond to me (10+ for some responses) and were never able to resolve issues, they only confirmed to me that they do have them. I decreased the number of subscriptions from my team and they refused to refund me for the unused subscription, which was a huge red flag to me. Email tracking - Their email tracking is inaccurate and counts your own clicks as an "open." Editing emails - There is no way to review your drafted emails after you queue them, even if you want to go back in to make an edit, nor can you even look at the email after queuing it. Poor UI - A lot of the features are clunky and have to be figured out on your own. I had to make a separate email address to experiment and figure out how the sending works, and I've had experiences where I fill in a variable field for a template and the sent email never fills in the blank space.

I really like the customisation that's built in. I chose Lemlist for our sales team to be able to send bulk prospecting emails and that's resulted in a massive increase in replies. What I really like most about Lemlist is the feature that checks the validity of email addresses which is missing in most other tools - and this is extremely crucial when prospecting.

Minpunten:

- The main downside is a missing integration with Zapier. I see Lemlist as a powerful tool in a growth hacking briefcase and with a missing Zapier integration, this disables our team from doing stuff like like contact form via Zapier to Lemlist. - Unable to export contacts. Nothing else.

Fantastic Tool

Opmerkingen: I absolutely love Lemlist. I was trying to do a lot of manual cold outreach before Lemlist. Lemlist saves me massive amount of time and gets me a really good click through rate

Saved me tons of time launching my startup

Pluspunten:

When setting up a campaign with lemlist, it's rigid enough to make you feel like you're using best practice without losing the flexibility to tailor it to your exact needs. It's also been an amazing time saver contacting prospects for my startup, which until now I was spending much of the day doing manually.

Minpunten:

There is a slight delay in replies coming through to lemlist, but nothing that impacts the functionality of the product. At first I questioned whether this was a bug, but support were quick to assure me it's something that will be better in the future so I'm happy!
