Fast VPN, easy to use and feature-rich. Excellent quick response from the CS team who are always available via chat. Router firmware is available for open-source routers to put VPN software to increase users & manage multiple devices. Tunnel splitting for different apps to by-pass VPN.

Minpunten:

The cost is relatively high; only 5 connections per account unless a router is flashed with ExpressVPN firmware (a limited number of routers allow this). Router Firmware lacks some features from the original router which can only be assessed after flashing including some parental controls and control over the wifi antennas and certain gaming features. Tunnel splitting is not available via a router.

ExpressVPN: No Logs?.......wait Really?!?

Opmerkingen: I've been a customer with them for over 5 years now and I've never had any issues. They're always updating their product and keeping with all the new technology that's coming out. I really appreciate their no logs policy and how easy it is to install and use.

Pluspunten:

The amount of locations you can run your signal to. The list of servers you can connect to around the world is exaustive, and they are one of the few VPN's that only use RAM to store information, so as soon as the server reboots for upgrades and anything, it all gets wiped.

Minpunten:

It's a little pricey for a VPN, but they always have good deals going on. I got a two year subscription for about $75.

Fast and save privacy tool.

Opmerkingen: It's fast and easy to use, and I never had connection issues. It's not the cheapest VPN on the market and might not be the ideal option for people looking for ad-blocking or multi-hop. But I'm happy with it, and I would definitely recommend it.

Pluspunten:

I really like that multiple people can log in at the same time and everything runs smoothly! The coverage is awesome. I was able to use it in both Poland and Mexico, and it got me around geo-blocks no problem. Plus, having support available 24/7 is super handy when I’m working from halfway around the world!.

Minpunten:

While there isn't a free version or trial available, this VPN is slightly pricier compared to others. However, I'm happy to say that it turned out to be a great choice!

Behaves like malware, unfortunate customer support

Opmerkingen: After more than a year of using them, I strongly encourage anyone considering them to stay away from this company. It is my opinion at this point that Express VPN uses deceptive practices in their marking and that most of the positive online reviews are paid for. I say this because this VPN has the highest ratings online yet it crashed every day, multiple times a day, constantly ran in the background even after I quit it and I had to actually force quit just to get it to turn off and unblock my internet. It took up an enormous amount of bandwidth, and when I wrote in recently to cancel my plan, I was told no problem and that I would receive an email and a refund and then I never did. This has now happened 2-3 times and I am at the point where I have to actually call my bank to reverse the charges and block them as a vendor. Their front-end customer support is great, unless you want a refund or technical support, and then they are hostile, defensive, and manipulative. Having never used a VPN before this one, I thought that a lot of this was normal for a VPN, but it just got to the point where it was so disruptive that I couldn't get anything done while it was running. I know how much time and energy it takes to shop and compare tech. Once you do, you want it to work so you can get on with your life, so I hope this interview can save you some time!

This is one of the best, if not the best VPN out there. It does not affect your internet speed and you would not even notice a difference between being connected to the VPN and not. With a strict no-logs policy they have, it is one the most secure VPN and I could not recommend it more.

It is very expensive compared to other quality VPNs but it provides you your value for such high price.

Online Anonymity

Not a con just an observation. Connecting to available ExpressVPN locations is quick requiring only a few seconds, but sometimes disconnecting can take up to a minute. I would think if anything it would be the reverse. Not a big deal.

Express VPN has been my number one vpn for a long time, in terms of speed, user friendly and good functional mobile app. Express Vpn has great security features with 24/7 customer support on chat. When I was introduced to Express Vpn what really prompted me to subscribe was their 30 day money back guarantee because I had it at the back of my mind in case express vpn disappoint I will surely request for my money back which I didn't because their service was great.

Express Vpn is costly compare to other great vpn in the market and express vpn only allows maximum of three device connection for a subscription at a time, other vpn allow more than 3 device connection. When three connection is reached and I want to connect another device I will have to disconnect one from the three connected devices.

I literally use this software everyday

Opmerkingen: I've tried almost every single VPN, and these are the best I've ever used. Stick with Express, don't waste your time on any other VPN that could expose your data.

I 100% cannot recommend this software more. I use it daily, it protects my network for anything I'm trying to do. Super easy to setup, doesn't straddle bandwidth, they delete all the meta data, and I've never once gotten any privacy notice while using this software . It's also one of the cheapest companies out there for what you get, pretty much just hit the On/off button and it does the rest. Never needed to contact support, but they were quick in helping me when I needed assistance.

Minpunten:

It doesn't get through some of the video networks like Hulu or netflix if you are trying to access content from outside the country or to access content from other counties. I've literally don't know any software gets around that though.

The best thing about is that once I got ExpressVPN I was able to have it on my phone and laptop which was nice to be able to use on both screens. It's very easy to use. I love user friendly software since I don't have tech knowledge. Anyone can use this and I think everyone should look into getting ExpressVPN for many reasons but number one is for your own personal safety.

There are no real cons I have experienced besides not noticing when its disconnected but thats not a software fault. It happens when I have lost all wifi/date service and I forget to connect back on it after I get my service back.

You can't go wrong with the ExpresVPN quality, the speed and security are very reliable that it even connects on low networks. It allows users to choose their preferred network connection protocol and there is no IP leak (even webRTC), it takes care of everything automatically.

Minpunten:

Shutting down or Sleeping a PC can cause a big disturbing issue if you are connected to an ExpressVPN location and have network lock on. It doesn't disable network lock automatically, you have to do it manually and it might not be easy.

What I really like about ExpressVPN is how we can choose what country we want to be set in so that we can continuously get reliable VPN service.

What I liked the least about ExpressVPN is that sometimes it can be unreliable and during these times, I turn to free alternatives that sometimes work better. I think that for a service that charges a pretty high subscription fee, ExpressVPN does need to improve its service for some locations so that it can be more reliable for users. In addition, it can also take a long time to connect to a VPN at times.
