Pluspunten:
Being multi-device SSO online software.Online travel management amongst others.
Minpunten:
Nothing to dislike since it meets all under one roof.
Customer Service can't be beat
Pluspunten:
The customer service is fantastic. At the airport with flight delays, I can jump on a chat with a real person who will work to figure out alternatives. There have been some application quirks but hopping on with CS tended to fix the issues in short order. Our company also implemented "saving sharing" where the employee would get a cut of the savings - in the form of a gift card to Amazon or whatever - if they chose a travel option that was more economical then some threshold or average. This was a very popular feature.
Minpunten:
It didn't integrate well with Frequent Flyer status and sometimes failed to show options that were allowed under travel policy. For example, status that allowed selection of premium economy for free would sometimes not work right, and you'd have to call after the booking to get it fixed. Additionally, even though policy allowed for upgrade to business in some cases, the application still fired off a "this is out of policy" warning. It also wasn't always the cheapest option - in a couple cases booking directly through the airline was actually most cost effective.
Not worth the time or money
Opmerkingen: Poor. Not only have they created more problems than they solved, they are hard to work with, dishonest, and overly priced.
Pluspunten:
That employees could book and have charges go onto the company card, cut back on employees having to use their own cards and get reimbursed.
Minpunten:
Cost of product. Higher than all of the others we reached this year in our attempt to find a better product.None of the books are actually discounted as they sold us on. Not only can our employees book the same rooms/flights cheaper going to Expedia, Priceline, or directly withe the hotel/airline, but we get charged for using Navan to book as well. One of their biggest selling points was we'd save money with the discounts they get. We don't.Customer service is definitely lacking. They have never been able to solve any problems, in fact they do a lot of back pedaling and changing receipts on the website to cover their tracks when something goes wrong. Have double charged us on multiple occasions, very difficult to get refunded without going to the credit card company. Have had receipts showing we used a credit, but then got charged for that 'credit' when booking on top of the full price of the tickets.

Pluspunten:
Being a road warrior (>125 miles with Delta a year) there is never a shortage of travel issues and problems, but Trip Actions quick customer service (chat function) is always there for you.
Minpunten:
- Please integrate the corporate discount rate with BonVoy, I continue to book my hotels outside the system to grab the best rate.

Customer service is likely one of the best things TripActions has to offer. Whenever a flight gets delayed/cancelled or something is going on they always let me know before the airline even does. Plus it's great to get Amazon credit for booking within the company asks. Product is easy to use and never gives me headaches like Concur used to do.

Opmerkingen: Terrible. They want me to pay thousands of dollars even after admitting their system handled my use case oddly. This software looks slick, but isn’t ready for large companies that need to handle many personas & use cases.
Pluspunten:
The support people are nice, but ultimately cannot resolve problems.
Minpunten:
1- the UX for booking & cancellation are different. 2- the cost for misunderstanding is extraordinarily high 3- support takes forever & cannot resolve issues 4- bookings are charged to your credit card by Navan as well as any airlines involved (e.g. 1 flight through Delta and Air France was initially billed 3 times)
Best Travel & Expense Management Software

The software was the greatest travel & expense management software I've ever used. The software is very user friendly and has great features, in booking and submitting expenses with the credit card option. When using the software and credit card for business, company reimbursements are the fastest I've ever experienced.

I actually have nothing bad to say about this software. It is by far the best I've used of its kind.
TripActions makes booking company travel easy!
Opmerkingen: Great tool that is easy to use and gives back perks in the form of Amazon gift cards. Awesome customer service and overall, a tool that makes booking company travel easy! I get notifications on my phone through the app for when I need to check in for flights, if my flight is delayed, and even gate information. I would highly recommend this product!

My company uses TripActions to manage all of our company related travel bookings for Hotel, Airfare, Rental Car, etc. This tool is easy to use and allows you to search only options that are within the company policy range, to ensure you are compliant with reimbursement restrictions. You can also earn Amazon Gift Cards for certain bookings, which is a unique feature that often helps sway my decision of which flight time or hotel I will book to earn extra value. They also have a very responsive customer service team, that is available to answer any questions regarding bookings, help rebook travel when needed, and other support related issues. Overall, a great product that I highly recommend!
Minpunten:
There are not a lot of cons to this software for my use case. If I had to select one, I would probably say the $15 booking fee that is added on to all bookings, however, this goes to cover the cost of support. If you need to use customer support for your booking, then the $15 fee is well worth it as they manage every aspect for you in regards to questions/clarification, rebooking, etc. Since my company covers this booking fee cost in reimbursement, it isn't really a big deal for me if I don't end up using the support function for every trip.
Nice user interface with ability to customize selectable options to fit within travel policy
Opmerkingen: Good experience with Tripactions. The modern user interface has a look and feel similar to those our users are already familiar with from other online travel booking tools.

I really like how the booking options display based on the company 's travel policy. This has streamlined the booking process because users are not having to get approval so long as the booking fits within the provisions of the policy.
Minpunten:
With hotel booking, a user can select to search based on a company office location (that have been configured); however, this is not available for flight bookings. We have unfortunately had a case where someone selected the wrong airport (a 4.5 hours' drive away) because it had a similar name to the right one. This would have been avoided if the user could have selected to search for flights based on their location and the office location to which they were traveling.
terrible app
Opmerkingen: I was coerced into downloading this app to attend a software conference. I have been trying to cancel my subscription for a month, but I cannot do cancel the subscription on my own. TripActions chat help tells me that my company admin must end my subscription. This does not sound right or ethical.

I did not care for anything about this software

It does not add value. It does not provide anything that my individual airline, hotel, and rental car apps do not already provide. It is annoying and gets in the way between me and my reservation

Opmerkingen: Generally good attitude towards tripactions. Coming from non managed our team isn’t crazy about the change, but that’s more of an change management issue. Without the rewards there isn’t anything that employees are crazy about.
Pluspunten:
CSM’s are great. Help desk team usually is really responsive and helpful. Booking fees are definitely a little on the expensive side. Their reps can go and negotiate rates on our behalf.
Minpunten:
Small issues with single sign on. This tickets been open for quite some time. Wished that could prioritize this and close the loop
Fun way to book work travel
Opmerkingen: I really look forward to booking work travel on TripActions so I can try to earn Amazon dollars. It can just be tough to do so when traveling to the Bay Area because everything is so expensive.
Pluspunten:
As an employee, I really like that I can earn Amazon gift cards for booking affordable travel options. And I’m sure my employer likes that more budget friendly options are incentivized.
Minpunten:
It can be kind of tough to search for hotels, if you’re looking for a specific place that you’ve already decided to stay.
TripActions self-serve booking is a must
Pluspunten:
TripActions is the next best thing to having a travel planner for each employee. I've used it both as an admin and a user. I love being able to book for myself, customize the trip to my own schedule and know I am booking within the preset company policy.I am also able to book for the executives at my company, through the delegation feature, which is essential for executive assistants. Being able to store all of our travel info -- rewards accounts, KTN, etc -- in the same place is invaluable. For companies on the go, it is the best option.
Minpunten:
You won't have access to every available flight or hotel. That said, I've always found a wide selection of options included and never felt overly limited.
No option for Cancellations
Opmerkingen:
Needed to cancel hotel reservations, was told by tripactions that they spoke to a manager at said hotel and was not willing to accept the cancellation. I personally approached the hotel management and explained the situation, was told that noone from tripactions called and they would cancel reservation at no charge.
In my opinion, trip actions just was trying to take advantage .

Great Tool to Quickly Book Travel
Pluspunten:
I love being able to compare hotels in one spot quickly. You also can't beat the Amazon rewards. Its a great money saver for my company, and a great reward for fiscal responsibility. I also like having a quick itinerary I can access via the app with all my trip details
Minpunten:
One thing that is still extremely frustrating is changing a flight or hotel. I can do this task in a matter of seconds on an airlines website, yet I still have to engage with a human via chat on TripActions to change details of trip. Recently, I needed to change a couple of flights and it took 14 minutes for me to get it all sorted. There needs to be a quick and easy way to change travel plans yourself, particularly flights, without having to chat with anyone.

I like the filters for navigating the platform. It makes it very easy to find hotels, flights, and rental cars. I love getting money back while saving my company money. This has to be the best model in the industry.
Minpunten:
I do find that some hotels do not get listed on the site by cross referencing them to a home site like marriott.com.

Consumer grade travel booking for the corporate context
Opmerkingen: Consumer-grade user experience that's very employee-friendly.
Pluspunten:
Basically as easy to use as Google Flights or Kayak when it comes to booking corporate flights. Friendly, intuitive user experience that shows you options in a way that anybody who uses the aforementioned sites could easily use. Showing in policy v. not in policy is super useful and saves a lot of time for regular users. Same with seeing how many seats left in a flight.
Minpunten:
Honestly not much to not like, at least from the perspective of an end user. Perhaps one of the people in HR who manages configuring the expenses/travel policies will have a different take.

Opmerkingen: Overall, I love TripActions. I use it for all my travel whether it be business or travel. The use of TripActions has become a major benefit to working for Hudl especially since a job in sales requires a lot of travel.

-Hard to find flights with flexible travel dates. Have to try searches multiple times or open multiple tabs to find best deal.

I can appreciate how a full itinerary can be viewed in one place. If you start with a flight, TripActions can help fill in the gaps (location and time of rental car pick up, etc).
Minpunten:
Tagging, reporting, and other settings can be tricky to navigate. It's also a bit expensive for what you get.
