Poor Customer Service

When there is an issue, Customer Service is not very good. not prompt and precious.I have been locked out for about 3 weeks due to OTP integration, after several emails to get it fixed, I vented my frustration at the time it was taking, only to be told they will cancel my subscription if I did it again, I have been with them for 2 years. Here is what I sent."I still have the same problem.I do not get a text message or email with the Six digit OTP.How can I make this any clearer.Consider this as another time you have dropped the ball.For F#$ks sake, can someone fix this ASAP."
Fits the bill for me
Opmerkingen: I am still getting fully operational with the program but it seems to more than adequately cover what I need as a moderate volume high-end custom home builder.
Pluspunten:
For the most part it is highly intuitive but when I hit a snag, good help is handy with an online tech chat. So far that has been very helpful.
Minpunten:
The UI is slightly less friendly than BuilderTrend but for what I need it does the trick at the right price.

The best I have found
Opmerkingen: My experience so far has been terrific, and I use it every day.
Pluspunten:
CF is the most intuitive software I have used or demoed for the construction industry. It is terrific for tracking expenses of a job, controlling service tickets, and scheduling employees. Customer support is always fast, and I really like the fact that they have a support network that allows for suggestions and modifications. CF has been a daily help, and the phone app is just as easy to use.
Minpunten:
There are some quirky things that you have to get used to, like how they few markups vs margins, but its no big deal.

Contractor Foreman has great customer service and quality training videos. This construction management software is vast and is able to do more than we need. Contractor Foreman helps us to accurately plan and budget our projects. Saved templates help save time in generating bids. The detailed and/or lump sum estimates help communicate the realities of the project with customers. Gantt charts help crews and homeowners visualize schedule and calendar realities.
Minpunten:
The program is so large and has so many functions, there is a bit of a learning curve on how to best use the product for the needs of our business. Learning the program is the user's responsibility.

All-in-one Software
Opmerkingen: I work in marketing and when I on-boarded a few months ago, I was really impressed with Contractor Foreman. I've worked for a lot of other companies where systems like project management and customer management don't communicate and data is stored in multiple places. This software is an amazing all-in-one package deal. I think it's great and would recommend it to any construction company.

Versatile, reasonable and functional!
Opmerkingen: Great, we use it from project setup to project completion and keep info for historical tracking and statistics

It checks most of the boxes we need from Precon to project completion forproject management and cost. Then has other bells and whistles like time card, daily report, equipment and vehicle logs, safety meetings, etc.

They shy away from questions on QuickBooks online

Contractor Foreman allows me to manage my project from 1 program. I love the fact that it syncs with Quickbooks, allows unlimited photos and customization. The team has been very helpful with answering my questions. The cost was way more reasonable than another big name program.

I just don’t like the fact that people can’t respond to the email sent from CF so it is an extra step to track.

Contractor Foreman, the solution to all of our project management woes!
Opmerkingen: Contractor Foreman has integrated several critical business areas and applications into one easy to use platform. The ability to have every aspect of Project Management tied together has saved us countless hours of wasted administration time. We no longer have to perform duplicate data entry into multiple single purpose software applications to achieve accurate and timely results. The integration with our Online version of Quick Books was smooth and painless and the support that CF offers in this area was very much appreciated!
Pluspunten:
It is difficult to narrow down just a few features of Contractor Foreman that stand out as the best or most important. The fact is that almost every module performs better than several stand alone applications we were using to achieve the same results. The overall Project Management features in CF have opened up a new level of accuracy for our business and allows us to properly track all of the key metrics that are so vital for our profitability. From estimating to invoicing, all of the featured modules work extremely well together to provide the clearest picture of where our time and money is going, and where it is coming in.
Minpunten:
There are a few minor things that we feel could use improvement but nothing on a big scale.We switched from a platform that was service ticket oriented and light on project management, so there have been some adaptations needed on our end to utilize Services Tickets the way they are done in CF.

The company provided so much information, that it was easy to know that Contractor Foreman was what fit best for my company. Superior Program to Other Contracting Programs

It appears that it will be an improvement over our current system and it looks like it will be much easier to use. Our previous system only allows one job per client at a time and this was a huge issue.

Its user-friendly interface, comprehensive project management capabilities, exceptional mobile app, incredible dashboard, collaborative communication features, and reporting that works make it the undisputed leader in the industry. If you're looking to enhance your construction management workflow and take your business to new heights, I wholeheartedly recommend Contractor Foreman. It has revolutionized my business, and will undoubtedly do the same for yours. Lots of flexibility and built-in features make using it very easy. We were so happy to find CF after using SalesForce, then Buildertrend; CF has solved so many problems for us, and the icing on the cake is the price. They have all the features and functionality that serve our business needs. It was a no-brainer to switch over, and we're happy we did.

The setup process can be quite time-consuming, requiring a significant amount of trial and error to ensure everything is properly configured. Unfortunately, there is a lack of comprehensive support or established best practices for integrating the various modules. Moreover, the available support options from CF are limited and often slow in their response. While they offer weekly training sessions (basic & advanced), a limited number of one on one training sessions, chat & email. Consequently, it seems that users are primarily left to their own devices when it comes to setting up the system effectively. On a positive note, the integration with QuickBooks Online is remarkable. However, the third-party setup company, Smart Business Solutions, could benefit from more extensive experience in their field. Their approach mainly revolves around trial and error rather than demonstrating expertise in tackling the specific challenges users encounter. Support primarily relies on email communication without the option for screen sharing, and the weekly training calls tend to focus on generic topics rather than delving into individual issues. While there are excellent instructional videos available, they may not address the specific intricacies of your business practices.

Contractor foreman is a great tool for beginner contractors.

CF is incredibly adaptable to your company
Pluspunten:
Our favorite feature is how adaptable it is. Each module can be adjusted to how your company does business. We started using CF only for time tracking and ended up transitioning our entire company to CF. The transition was extremely easy because CF adapts to how you have been doing things and not obligating your to drastic changes. Trainings are easy to schedule, weather it be in group settings for basic trainings or one on one sessions. customer service is easy to contact and tech will respond very quickly.
Minpunten:
We recently started to integrate other applications and it is define still a work in progress. But the speed in witch they have solutions to the issues is quite fast.
