ease deployment fast and qualified support, meaning that issues were sorted out right away (in my case via dial in)

somewhat pricy very detailed log files, sometimes it may be hard to find the root cause
A solid backup software that helps me sleep better and is easy to work with
Opmerkingen: I was looking for an alternative to a very popular american backup software, because their support quality and license policies were quite disappointing. There are not many options out there which are fairly priced yet professional and quick enough for my demands. Macrium Reflect meets those requirements perfectly so far, and I am very confident that there will be no problems should desaster ever strike. It is user friendly, works quickly and yet has all the options that a semi-pro with a home office environment like me could wish for.
Pluspunten:
Abundant options, fair pricing, streamlined and transparent UI and backup creation. Backs up very quickly. Easy and flawless creation of desaster recovery media.
Minpunten:
That i did not discover it sooner. No bugs or issues found so far, but have been only using it for a week.
Please tell me :What am I missing ?

Please see above. as an added addendum. After I cloned with the other software. I once again tried "Reflect". I received the same GD error code 9. I went with Reflect because I did a ton of research on it before I downloaded and installed. I mean.... a TON.
I'm baffled as to why Reflect fails and the others work.

As stated above the install and setup for cloning was easy, simple and quick. But that's as far as it went. I received an error 9 code. OK, no big deal, Right ?!? Well.... I tried every fix and troubleshooting technique. Nothing worked. Spent nearly 2 days-researching, reading , watching every possible scenario that would cause this particular error. Used every method to attempt to remediate my situation. I even used a 3rd party software(pro version). No errors could be found on the drive....yet I kept getting an error 9. So......What am I missing ? here's the kicker guys........... I finally gave up and tried a different cloning software. And guess what........ It went without a hitch. Cloned on the first attempt. So.... I ask again..... What am I missing here ?

Hi Jeffrey, I would emphasise that our Support team is on hand to help people who are trialling. Naturally priority is given to paid customers, but we'd really love you to give us another chance, with the help of our support team.

From my standpoint it is the most reliable backup software I've ever used.
It restores your complete system not just your data.
Now they just need to fix the licensing issue which can be problematic particularly with the home version.
Pluspunten:
I was using another product to backup Windows some 5 years ago which was never reliable in restoring backups. There would be intermittent blue screens whenever you plugged in a USB external drive while it was doing its 30–60-minute backup. With Macrium Reflect there has never been an issue with reliability of backups. It has improved from version 7 to the recent release of X in speed of backup to the point I can backup and verify a 100 gb C drive in less than 5 minutes (using USB4). It can restore your system, from scratch, in just a few minutes more. It can create a Windows PE bootable USB to restore, backup or fix boot problems with Windows

Paramount Software has instituted, like many software vendors, a yearly licensing fee which has its quirks, and the pressure will be on them to either develop another product or make it worth the user's money to pay yearly in order to upgrade with each release. In my view access to their excellent support is worth that fee.
Macrium Reflect is the BEST
Opmerkingen: see above! I've done COUNTLESS image restores and individual file recoveries using Macrium. It's a lifesaver!
Pluspunten:
Macrium is a great company and Reflect is a great product, been using it for years, to back up all my personal & work-based PCs and Servers. Couldn't live without it, it has saved our bacon so many times!!
Minpunten:
Key & subscription management could be more friendly, as could deployment, but overall the product is full featured and extremely robust and stable.
