Definitely Worth a Try

I think the interface and use of AI is really valuable and easy to use. That being said my profiles are constantly disconnected.

Minpunten:

That IG goes to notify rather than auto post and you have to change that each time.

With a Few More Features, It Would Be a Solid Piece of Software for Publishing

Opmerkingen: We all love later. Unfortunately due to the lack of ability to schedule more advanced post types like reels and the inability to post to google business, we've had to start using a different service (which is not as foundationally good) but does offer those features. All in all however, if you're looking for a solid, reliable, industry standard for social media publishing, this is your software.

Pluspunten:

Auto hashtags, basic image editing, the ability to select different times for different channels in one post, the post feed preview feature; and a solid, reliable performance 90% of the time. They also have a decent free plan with basic features and 10 free posts per month.

Minpunten:

The post types you can schedule are ULTRA limited (no reels), the media center is a mess to find your content in, the analytics are limited (but that doesn't really matter) and more often than they should, the connections to social platforms need refreshing (which also doesn't really matter). Also, you can't schedule to all the platforms, google business being left out is especially unfortunate.

It's a great product but there are better options

I like that it's simple, easy, and straightforward. For what it does, it works and does the job well.

I hate the price point. I used to think that this was the best deal I could get for a scheduling software, but I have since found other options that work better and go the distance! I will not be returning to Later if they don't uplevel their pricing and features soon!

Amazing analytics for social media

Opmerkingen: I've been using Later for nearly 3 years and it's been a great platform to use. Customer support is good too. Prices are increasing in 2021 (I guess everything is going up in price) so will have to take a look around to see if it's still the best to use. The only platform missing for me is LinkedIn.

Pluspunten:

Analytics for Instagram have been extremely useful with hugely detailed pictorial charts covering demographics, optimum posting times, best hashtag use. I also like the drag and drop feature of uploading new images and videos.

Minpunten:

If you forget a channel or select too many, mid-point of writing a post, then you have to start over, which is a tad annoying.

Later for Instagram/Facebook Scheduling

Pluspunten:

Later makes it easy to organize our content and publish it to our social media platforms in advance. I like to batch this task and have been using Later for it for several years now. It is simple enough to not over complicate the job and has enough tools and options to make it quick and easy.

Minpunten:

Sometimes it can't save videos or reels due to the length of them or I will receive another random error message that doesn't actually tell me why it failed.

Good starter platform

Pluspunten:

I had it when it was free. Of course now there is different tiers and features etc etc. There was enough on the platform to get the job done, but other platforms just offered more for less when it got down to it. The Monthly fee trend seems to ruin the overall vibe of these platforms. You're limited in how often and what you can post.

Minpunten:

Limitations with tier subscriptions. Unless you plan to fork out a lot of money for what you are doing then there are better options out there.

A Great App for Managing Your Social Media Posts

Pluspunten:

Later is great for managing social media on Facebook and Instagram. You can post to other applications too. I schedule my posts at the start of the month and it automatically publishes to my social media platforms at the time of my choosing.

Minpunten:

You need to add the ability to be able to manage more social media accounts at a time

Later was really great for us when we needed to schedule just a few social posts across a few different platforms. It was perfect for this and SO simple. Also, the price was right!

Minpunten:

Once you get beyond a ten posts/month the costs becomes a barrier and then it's no longer the best choice.

Well designed Social Media Management platform with a fatal flaw

Opmerkingen: Overall, Later was an incredible platform that offers some incredible features at a price point that cannot be beat - serving as the primary social media management platform for our team for well over a year. However, due to a lack of customer support surrounding a key feature consistently breaking, we were forced to give up on Later and move to competing products.

Pluspunten:

Later is an incredibly well-designed platform that offers the best user-interface and planning features I've encountered across social media management platforms. Setting up Later with our Instagram & Facebook accounts was a breeze, as was configuring the platform to fit my specific needs with custom post-schedules, and their visual planner (offering week views, monthly views & even a profile view) - all available at their free tiered platform. Pay a couple bucks a month, and you get access to even more features - such as suggested posting times (truly an incredible feature), video posting, instagram story posting, and team management options (such as Contributors) that are truly unbeatable at the price Later offers them.

Minpunten:

While Later's platform was absolutely stunning & incredibly user-friendly, my issue with Later stemmed from the continued issue of Later failing to post scheduled Instagram posts. I will say, I haven't used Later since late 2018 (so this issue may have been resolved); but I was continually dealing with this issue for over 6 months - with a scheduled post failing to post, the Later platform marking the post as "failed to post", and Later refusing to notify me of the failure - despite their fallback feature of notifying the user via the app when a post fails to get posted. With this issue I contacted support, but got given the run-around "Instagram's API" was down (seems to have happened a lot while I was with Later and never when I switched to another platform), so I begrudgingly made the decision to switch to a more expensive & less featured platform that would auto-post to instagram. As I mentioned previously however, this issue may have been resolved in the past 1.5 years since I used the platform.

Quite expensive tool, but works fine

Opmerkingen: I used Later nicely for years, until they decided to change existing plans and raise the price dramatically. Due to that, I started to search for alternatives, and I've found out that these days, you can archive more than 90 percent of the same things directly with Meta (FaceBook and Instagram), but for free !Also, the analytics looks great at first to see what is working or not, but again, the same tools are available in Facebook or Instagram directly now. So I'm not sure that I'll continue to work with Later for long still...

It was very useful to create and schedule post on FB and Instagram accounts.Analytics use to be good too.

Minpunten:

Being a user for years, they suddenly raised their price drastically, for way less options that I had before.I understand that you can adjust prices according to the market, but changing completely the plans and options of an existing customer is clearly not nice. I have lost confidence with this product since then.

Great 3rd Party Scheduling App Option

Opmerkingen: Very user-friendly and has great insights and tools. I prefer this over HootSuite and other competitors. I also have loved the option of posting automatically or manually and the app on a mobile device is easy to use.

Pluspunten:

I loved the suggested hashtag feature, saves so much time when posting to Instagram! It's also a very easy-to-use software for scheduling feed posts and stories.

Minpunten:

The price for multiple accounts is what has moved me to Facebook Business Suite. With a real estate company, we have multiple agents with social media, and it's too much of a cost when there's a free option for multiple accounts.

The best of many social media scheduling tools.

My Experience with Later

Opmerkingen: I like Later, but I just don't "love" it. There's some really good options in the service, but like I mentioned, I was disappointed I couldn't fully auto publish everything on every platform. Trying to keep up with social media is difficult and it seems pretty much no one can make auto publishing for every single post on every platform a reality so we still have to sub contract marketing and media managers on top of paying for the Later service. It's just a merry go round of fees and charges to keep paying for and keep track of for any business.

I like that Later has a ton of helpful tips and information to help my business stay up to date with trends and changes/updates in social media.

Minpunten:

I can't seem to auto publish evvvvery post on evvvery platform, I would like to be able to auto publish literally everything from stories to reels to permanent posts, and on every platform from the usual Facebook and Instagram to YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok and LinkedIn

Simple content planner.

Pluspunten:

I loved being able to plan content well in advance across various platforms. Later also gives you a snapshot view on instagram so that you can see the overall layout of how things will look before they post. It allows you to curate a more cohesive visual.

Minpunten:

Although it works with multiple platforms, it is really only geared towards Instagram.

An Ideal Platform For Instagram Marketing

Opmerkingen: We do a lot of posting on Instagram and Later helps us do this efficiently. With multiple features that can help put Instagram stories and post, Later is a lot useful platform.

Pluspunten:

- Highly focused on Instagram, Later allows you to not only post on Instagram but also put Instagram Stories.- It has a dedicated story button to add Instagram Stories.- It also allows you to tag people and add location in your post for Instagram.

Minpunten:

Scheduling option for Instagram does not work. (But I think this is a problem from Instagram wherein it does not allow auto-posting)

Gave me My Life Back!!!

Opmerkingen: Later has legitimately changed the way I do business and how I think about social media as a whole. Social media is not a burden anymore, but something that I am very intentional with, I keep my media organized, I get it scheduled, I find it joyful and not a drag to deal with and I owe this all to Later.
Major kudos to the Later team for making such an amazing platform!

Later is unbelievably EASY to use! Whether you choose weekly or monthly view, , scheduling with Later could not be any easier!! I have Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram, plus you can connect Twitter as well. They now have scheduling for Insta Stories which is a REALLY BIG DEAL!!! The analytics tools are pure gold because they will help you see exactly how your posts are performing and focus on how to steer your campaigns moving forward. The newly released hashtags analytics will also let you see exactly how well each and every hashtag you're using is performing, so you'll know if you should be using them or research more and replace those hashtags with new ones. Especially if you are handling multiple accounts across a multitude of platforms, and you want to stay on top of your social media, Later is ABSOLUTELY a tool that anyone with a business should use nowadays!!!

I started using Later about two years ago and I can already tell how much they have evolved in just the two years since I've been a user. in the beginning they did not have a placeholder for images, just in case I just had an idea and had the text/copy, but would add the image later. Well, they just rolled this out. So this is just one example of one shortcoming I used to not like about the software, but they are making huge huge strides in constantly improving the platform!

Great for social media management

Opmerkingen: I've used Later almost daily to schedule and manage my organization's social media presence. It is a very useful tool with many great features that is available for a price I haven't seen offered by any competitors. It is extremely detailed in its support for Instagram and Tik Tok as well (especially when scheduling stories), so if you're primarily using those platforms, you're sure to find Later to be extremely helpful.

Pluspunten:

It was extremely easy to schedule posts on several different accounts and manage media assets. Instagram analytics were also helpful in growing the company's following. It offers a lot of useful features for a relatively low price.

Minpunten:

It could certainly use more detailed analytics for platforms other than Instagram and TikTok. I also wish there was a way to duplicate/clone posts. When managing pictures and images, it does not store the original file, and when editing pictures for different platform, there is no way to save custom settings.

Life Saver!

Later is a lifesaver for all digital marketers. I am a freelancer with multiple clients, and I use later to help organize, plan and schedule all my digital marketing assets. Later works seemlessly with IG, FB and Tik. Later offers both monthly and weekly calendar view so that you can get both a detailed and overall view of each accounts posts.

Minpunten:

One feature I would like Later to consider implementing is "national SM holiday" reminders. It would be nice to see things like "Starwars Day" or "National Donut Day" already loaded onto their calendars - as a sort of reminder to myself to create content for that holiday (if you so chose)

Best Instagram Manager Platform

Opmerkingen: It saves you a lot of time, you can schedule your content and even automate you publishing! It’s absolutely a great platform.

The post scheduling takes the things to a whole new level, you can switch up between different accounts and even automate publishing!

Minpunten:

The preview panel shows you what your Account is gonna look like but it would be better if they have use a mockup or something like that.

Expensive but worth it

Opmerkingen: We never had used some other app before and was pretty easy to learn, the free plan help a lot companies as our, as even been so hard to invest in dollars for us in Brazil, we are making everything possible to upgrade to pro-plan, even been hardly more expensive than their directly rival in brazilian coin. We are a small company, just a little more than 1 year old, and Later helps we grow up to 1900 followers just in organic strategies.

Minpunten:

It's really more expensive than others tools in pro plan. Om free plan they don't have option to publish videos.

Organize and schedule your social media posts in advance

Opmerkingen: It allows us to let a different guest astrophotographer post photos to our Instagram every day without a lot of work. An incredibly valuable tool that we totally rely on.

Pluspunten:

We let a different astrophotographer "take over" our Instagram account every day and post three of their pictures to our audience. Later makes this incredibly easy for astrophotographers to queue up their pictures (each of which is interacting with Later for the first time), but still gives us control over making sure they're good quality before we post them.

Minpunten:

They have similar functionality for Twitter and Facebook but it's automatically, so it doesn't serve the same purpose for us.

Later is my favorite scheduling tool!

Opmerkingen: I have used Later for several different social media clients, all with great results. I even recommended Later for the Communications Team for a local non-profit, and they are using it with ease.

I love the features Later has implemented in the past 6 months. Every new update addresses an issue I had, or honestly didn't know I had. This is by far my favorite tool for scheduling client's social media.

Minpunten:

I would love to be able to post multiple photos to Instagram instead of having the push notification to publish manually. Other than, I really have no complaints.

Our social media manager can not work without Later, simply it made our job easier. Manager everything from one space. In our case we have many rrss in different languages, we set up different set on Later and that's it, we can manage all our social media account from one panel.
