Symantec Endpoint Security offers a wide range of security features, from virus and malware protection to firewall, device control, intrusion prevention, email protection, and web content filtering. With these features, we can be sure that our systems and data are well protected. It also uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technology to detect and prevent advanced and unknown threats in real time. This is especially important given that cyber threats are constantly evolving.
Minpunten:
Symantec Endpoint Security is a high-quality endpoint security solution, but it can also be expensive. However, I think the cost is justified given the level of protection it offers.

Good Enough protection
Opmerkingen: Overall i am pleased, but not overwhelmingly happy. i moved on to Sophos in one company and Trellix in another company.
Pluspunten:
Product is cost effect, easy to deploy and easy to manage.
Minpunten:
Product lacks some new features compared to its competitors in the same class,it is does not detect all the threats. i often scanned the same system with Symantec first, then installed another product and found threats that Symantec scans didn't pick up.

Opmerkingen: Overall the experience is fine. You may have to manually clean things up that other products handle better but it's still an acceptable product.
Pluspunten:
Symantec offers a good deployment experience and is fairly easy to manage. It's a decent product overall.
Minpunten:
Symantec products don't always offer great protection. At times they have actually caused issues in an enterprise environment through their own update mechanisms. If you switch products it can be painful to remove and sometimes leave computers unoperational.

Opmerkingen: The overall experience from the symantec edr is more than two years that i defend my hundreds computer's and servers and its very good product and very easy to use

I like that its have also proxi defender and web isolation all in one. And the ui ux of the monitor is very easy to understand the statuses

It was better if i have also in the monitor able to bring logs from other apps that i have allredey in our organisation

Symantec Endpoint Security gets the job done
Opmerkingen: This was a good solution and is a good solution for any organization, but for us we determined that we wanted a single provider for as much of our security suite as possible.
Pluspunten:
We needed something better than Windows Defender and Symantec offers centralized management, and reporting among other things. It worked well, but isn't perfect.
Minpunten:
Symantec products are generally well put together, but it did not integrate well with our Cisco security suite and so we went with Cisco's solution after some time due to the lack of centralized management from a single console.
