Printlogic - Great value and amazing support
Opmerkingen: Our overall experience has been a great one. From the onboarding call(s) to the training sessions, [SENSITIVE CONTENT], and all the developers have done an amazing job of getting us set up and making it clear that they will customize as many options as possible to set things up the way we like it. We are still somewhat evaluating the software and haven't fully committed to it, but I'm confident that we can make the complete switch to PrintLogic and use it as our main MIS software to help the company run smoother.
Pluspunten:
The overall design of the app is nice and clean. There is a ton of customization available and the team at PrintLogic has been unbelievable in terms of support and are always quick to respond. I have yet to see this level of service with any other company, especially not when it comes to software. They are constantly adding new features and it is clear that they truly value their customers and what they are looking for. They are quite adamant about customizing everything so that it meets our needs, despite the smaller size of our company.
Minpunten:
There are a lot of features related to offset/litho printing that do not relate to our (Mostly wide-format vinyl/sign printing) industry, and some features & wording are not required or useful. I understand that this software is geared towards several different printing industries but it would be nice to have the option to remove all features and wording related to offset/litho printing. There are some quirks when it comes to material calculations but we're still in the early stages of setting it up and user error is usually the cause for most of our confusion. Exporting the data so it can be brought into Quickbooks Desktop has been a bit confusing, but I'm confident that we can get it sorted out. Direct integration with QBD would be nice but I understand they can't possibly cover all the possible integrations that clients might need.
PRINTLOGIC REVIEW
Opmerkingen: I have found the programme very easy to use. It exports the invoices into Sage, which helps with time management for our book keeper and eliminates the mistakes from manual entry. The reports are invaluable for marketing, so sales can see chase up quotes that have not been taken up, and chase clients who have not ordered for a certain period of time.
Pluspunten:
It is easy to use, generates many reports to aid with the running of the business and you can have bespoke reports created.. We have had one created we use at the end of the month showing all the jobs that have not yet been invoiced to ensure we invoice all the jobs we have produced that month.
Minpunten:
When you amend a small item of a quote you are working on it changes everything and can adjust the price that you had worked out completely. You can work around this, but need to be aware of it.
Usage of Print Logic System
Opmerkingen: Overall, Printlogic is actually a convenient and powerful. It is easer to track our orders from customer and details, however, our company is still adjusting the features. I use printlogic for job tracking only.
Pluspunten:
The most impactful feature is one job can be access to all departments, we can track status, costing and project management. Easy access to get Job Sheet as well.
Minpunten:
Time sheet is convenient however the we as a user cannot give remarks to explain to our analyst and we cannot view or print the time sheet for review purpose. It would be an ease if Printlogic have this feature. We have to get access from website as well, I would like to suggest Printlogic to have an apps that can work on phone and computer for a much better access.

Opmerkingen: Overall experience is pretty good. Printlogic is a great tool for printers to be able to have a good handle on orders & where things are at.
Pluspunten:
Great for keeping track of customers in general.... orders, invoiced, quotes etc. Trying to utilise a bit more.
Minpunten:
We find it glitchy at times. Strange things happen for no reason what so ever. Recently we have been having issues with text duplicating in orders & page 3 production sheet. We have to refill out all the pages adding unnecessary time to processing & it can be quite frustrating.

We are a trophy and engraving company and using print logic has transformed our business with its ease. The software needed to be adapted to suit our industry and with a couple of exceptions it is perfect for what we need.

There are a couple of tweaks that are bespoke to our industry that would be great but no negative points to be made as so many bespoke alterations have been made to suit ourselves that we are really happy overall

When we started using the system it was like having a new member of staff join. It is user friendly and they PL team are at the end of the phone when with have any issues.

The support could be better. The company seems over run at the moment with support calls. Development also seems an issue, even to get an answer from support or a quote and lead times.

I must like the user-friendly qualities of Printlogic, it has been very helpful for keeping track the progress of the print orders in our shop.

Since moving onto Printlogic the time spent working on quotes has been reduced by at least 80% compared to the last system that we used. The ease of use, the functionality and options is fantastic. I still haven't used some of the functions yet but know when I do I will be happy.
Minpunten:
I haven't found anything I do not like yet. Some functions did take a while to get used to but this was because they were so different from our last system, and these have now proven to be much better.

The only part of Printlogic I dont like is that on the order screen I wish you could see all the most recent orders rather than a few of the latest and then some older ordersAlso in the quote screen it would be good to see the quantity and price of the quote without having to physically open up each quote but these are very minor points

Opmerkingen: The overall experience has been very good. We transitioned from another online estimating software that just wasn't handling our needs anymore. This system is robust, quick and lots and lots of options. I'm satisfied with the overall product and looking forward to see the next updates to this system.

The support to setup the software is fantastic. They know print, understand your needs and give you the best options to implement what you need into their system. Everything is customizable and everything is easy to understand.
Minpunten:
At the moment - none so far. You need to put the time in to make sure everything is being captured.
Print Logic is 'logical' choice for my business
Opmerkingen: Overall, setting prices, quoting clients, job implementing, finishing and invoicing are all extremely practically applied and creating job bags for work floor instructions is also very good. The support team are very good too and approach some levels of bespoke planning for my requirements, leading me to re-enforce the fact that Print Logic is an excellent product that is very good value for money.
Pluspunten:
Print Logic seems to fit in with my business. It allows my staff to keep all information in one place and refer back to it with accuracy when required. Although it isn't perfect by covering all that is required, it does offer good value for the monthly fee
Minpunten:
I find updating stock pricing extremely frustrating, finding stock and setting prices can be confusing and laborious. Order tracking and workflow planning is frustratingly inactive.
My Review
Pluspunten:
the ability to create costed quotes on the fly saves us a lot of time, however we have come across several issues when the system has generated prices incorrectly. This is usually corrected quickly by the support team but nevertheless means we have to stay vigilant
Minpunten:
If you clone or duplicate a quote, for instance for a repeat order after selecting the account etc it takes you back to the original quote not the quote you have just created, which has led our estimators to override the original quote instead of amending the new cloned quote.
Printlogic has been a game changer for our small print studio!
Opmerkingen: I found Printlogic on the Capterra website and after reading the reviews I contacted them that evening. The following morning I had a call back and a demo scheduled for that same afternoon. After a 30 minute demo I was sold and the rest is history! We pride ourselves on our customer support but the Printlogic team have exceeded even my high expectations from the initial call right through to on-going daily support.
Pluspunten:
Moving from manual quotes using multiple spreadsheets and good old fashioned pen and paper, Printlogic has been a game changer for us! It's incredibly user friendly and the support team behind the software are nothing short of incredible! It takes a little while to plug in all of the data (stocks, costs, machines, finishing options etc) but once it's all in, quotes are easy and super fast to generate. I love the fact multiple quantities and options can be included because this is request we get an awful lot due to the large number of finishing options and stocks we offer. I also love that customers can confirm orders via a link in their email and approve proofs online. The support team have been awesome tackling all of my requests for changes or customisation so it works exactly the way we need it to. The proofing system is quick and easy and the job management section has enabled us to improve efficiency and ditch our studio white board! We offer a lot of bespoke finishing options and have been able to build everything in so it can be quickly and easily costed up by any member of staff. Quotes are going out to customers faster which means we're securing more orders, jobs are going out quicker thanks to better job management and we're making less human error mistakes thanks to the works dockets being generated automatically rather than by hand. All in all I couldn't be happier and am so pleased I found Printlogic. At it's price point it is amazing value for money.

The proofing system wasn't ideal for us initially, however Printlogic customised it for us and in the process saved us a lot of money having a custom proofing system built.
