The financial reporting is adequate and gets the job done; however, it feels limited when compared to other platforms like QuickBooks Online. The range of reporting options and the level of customization available there allow users to tailor reports far more effectively and extract more meaningful insights. > > **Minpunten**: Due to limited integrations, I eventually transitioned most of my clients from Sage Business Cloud Accounting to QuickBooks Online. A key example is payroll—since it is not natively built into the platform, it requires additional tools, leading to added costs, inefficiencies, and a more fragmented workflow. > > Overall, the customer support is disappointing and often unhelpful. The platform is not very intuitive and can be difficult to navigate, especially for clients who are not familiar with accounting software. Payroll not being built into the system adds unnecessary complexity and results in additional costs, making workflows less efficient. The reconciliation process could be significantly improved, and both invoicing and expense tracking lack the level of efficiency and automation that is now standard in many competing tools. Careful when entering just a slight touch of a key and you may post something unintentionally or incomplete. File capacity for attachment for invoicing is too small. You have to attach multiple files and the allotment for that is too small. I end up emailing customers their files. Waste of time and irritates my customers. There is also not a proper receipt to send to customers. Too many steps involved for everything, you cannot see more than one thing at a time. For example open 2 tabs for comparison. The desktop version is superior. > > Sage Online I would never recommend it is horrible, unreliable, frustrating, the worse online accounting software I have ever used.
