I spent agonizing hours of setting up all required forms, policies and procedures required by the state of Wisconsin. Everything has to be documented on physical paper for the state to revue at any time to insure compliance for Medicare/Medicaid. When my RN did the assessments of the clients it took about 2 hours because the information on forms is redundant. Everything done by hand is tedious time consuming and prone to error. We realized that we will absolutely need a software solution that will allow for the assessment to have a data flow through. Prior to this situation I spent 1 week looking for something out there that could help my agency organize and actually write the much needed forms. Every day I had scheduled presentation with various vendors. It was all a big waste of time: my biggest gripe they couldn't customize their system to my state requirements, they want large upfront and monthly costs/client/hr of labor. (When those vendors hear Medicare/Medicaid requirement they run.) What MedSys2 did for me is Magic. I contacted the owner of the company with a simple phone call to see how much it would cost to customize they system to my agency forms and it turned out not much at all. The most important t form is WI F-11133 he built this form as a PDF into the system so the state requirement is met. The data from this from is populated in other forms that we need. No need to fill out multiple forms multiple times. Problem solved at a fraction of the cost. This software essentially runs circles around everything that is out there because: 1. don't have a monthly expense, per employee, 2. you own your data\!, 3. no need to provide my people in the field with added expense of internet access that is spotty in some areas/buildings. I am very grateful to the owner of this company Kenneth Brown for the support and advice he provided me with.
