Minpunten:

No cons for me to provide on the Zenoti system. As we continue to use and get to know the system, there may be opportunities of improvement, but all expectations have been superseded.

The amount of information and customization available can be overwhelming but once you have it set up with the help of your Zenoti success team, it makes every task from taking payments to getting reviews, so much easier. I appreciate their dedication to continuously growing and improving their software based on what their customers are asking for. If you're needing a software system that does it all, Zenoti is it!

The level of customization, AI developments have really helped with navigating the system, all in one program - from client communication, payment processing, reporting, employee scheduling and management, to goal setting and tracking

It takes a very long time to really understand the software and how it works/thinks which can be difficult for new team members

In AR, I met with someone a couple times, but I didn't stick with them because I felt like they didn't care. [sensitive content hidden] cares. He's amazing. He knows me, my staff, and that's how you keep customers.. you need more people like [sensitive content hidden] in the company. He's the face. And [sensitive content hidden] is amazing too.. she was more behind the scenes helping but I'm grateful for THEM as a team. I wouldn't be live without them. We all know that. I would like to be able to upload PDF files into my treatment form areas. The charting interface of Zenoti is much more difficult than AR -- I used to be able to label where all my tox went on a face and in Zenoti that's not feasible. I would like a better charting of the face so I can be sure tox/filler is placed in the correct places.

I like the customizable forms, but they take forever to build and Zenoti implementation team will charge you for helping build them. Not user friendly for small business owners.

As the manager of our med spa, I'd like to address some concerns regarding our experience with Zenoti. We've found it frustrating that certain features that should enhance platform usability come at an additional cost. Specifically, the lack of automatic notifications for low credits in email marketing has been particularly infuriating. Recently, after utilizing Zenoti for 1.5 years, we began utilizing the marketing tools, only to find ourselves inadvertently exceeding our email capacity for May 2024. While we understand the need to pay for marketing emails, it's disappointing that hitting our cap also impacts essential functions like emailing receipts, without prior warning from Zenoti. Furthermore, the response from Zenoti support was less than satisfactory, offering to add 7500 emails for an additional $200 instead of acknowledging the lack of notification. This feels unreasonable given our already substantial monthly investment in the platform, which includes charges for text messages and photo management. As a small business, I manage the backend operations alone, making efficient support crucial. Unfortunately, Zenoti's customer service primarily relies on AI responses, resulting in lengthy wait times and a lack of personalized attention. Additionally, despite our investment, we've yet to receive proactive outreach from Zenoti regarding our experience or feedback on their app. In conclusion, while Zenoti offers valuable features, the lack of proactive support and additional charges for essential functionalities detract from its overall utility and value for our business. As a manager overseeing operations at our med spa, it's important to provide a comprehensive assessment of our experience with Zenoti. In addition to the frustrations outlined earlier, it's become apparent that Zenoti's business model prioritizes larger clients, often at the expense of smaller businesses like ours. Their approach, which seems geared towards extracting additional fees for basic functionalities, suggests a profit-driven ethos that neglects the needs of smaller enterprises. This money-centric strategy, coupled with a lack of personalized support for smaller clients, reinforces the impression that Zenoti is primarily concerned with maximizing revenue rather than fostering mutually beneficial partnerships. Given these observations, I would caution fellow small business owners to carefully consider whether Zenoti aligns with their operational and financial needs. In our experience, the platform's shortcomings and profit-focused mentality make it less suitable for businesses of our scale. Therefore, I would advise small business owners to explore alternative solutions that prioritize user experience and support tailored to their specific requirements.

Pluspunten:

Zenoti offers a variety of services that is a step up from competitive software. Reporting capabilities are extensive, with a variety of customization available. Packages, memberships, and loyalty programs are easily accessible. The system is incredibly smart and offers an all-in-one marketing, charting, booking, reporting, and more solutions. The customer service is amazing, the live chat support can take a few minutes to respond, but the integration team and weekly live sessions are a big help. The system can be overwhelming when you first start but has a lot to offer.

Minpunten:

The implementation is very lengthy and there a lot of hiccups to get through in the first few stages. However, the implementation team is very patient and understanding and got us through it easily. It is a very complex system and may be intimating at first use.

Any questions or concerns or reconfigurations we needed to work through to create a better process for our practice was addressed, coached and worked through by the team we were working with.

I can't express enough how much appreciation I have for our project management and onboarding team. We worked with project manager [sensitive content hidden] on the onboarding and transformation end and they have been so incredible from day one through the entire transition.

We had some hiccups throughout the process and some miscommunication issues when signing on, but the project management team worked with us through all of our issues and concerns.

Highly recommend Zenoti

Opmerkingen: We have 3 locations and Zenoti was so patient with us so that we could go live with each location at separate times allowing us to focus on the training for each set of employees. Zenoti made it so easy for us to integrate this software. We were able to work directly with them as they understood what we needed and how our business and previous memberships ran in the past. It made our transition seamless while providing the one on one care we needed at the time. The response time has been exceptional. Whenever we had questions, [sensitive content hidden] or someone from his team was there to help us work through the issue. Highly recommend.

Pluspunten:

Zenoti has so many great features! It makes our daily tasks so much easier with all of the information we need at our fingertips. We have had better success with our online booking than we did with our legacy system. We have certainly had an increase in appointments. I love that the schedule layout can be viewed multiple ways as well! Having the texting capabilities has been so helpful. Zenoti is an excellent software with the best features we have seen across all software options for Medical Aesthetics clinics. It is user friendly and quick to pick up for clinic employees. The integration process is fairly involved, but we had an excellent team that put in extremely high effort to assist us leading up to integration and for the Go Live of the system. They provided us with round the clock support and ensured our system was set up correctly during the first week using Zenoti.

Minpunten:

While the integration process is very smooth, the trickiest part has been after the Go Live period. There is a significant decrease in the amount of support you have while your team(s) are still learning the software.

Opmerkingen: Overall, I am pleased with our decision to utilize Zenoti. It is by far the most advanced software I have found from a reporting and financial standpoint as well as infinite customization. That customization definitely comes at a time cost in terms of setup, but I think will be well worth it in the end.

Pluspunten:

Zenoti is a pretty powerful piece of software that met all of our expectations and needs from an operations and accounting standpoint - and then some. We are still in the very early stages so are still learning to use some of the features and functionality - but I will say that I have been part of several software onboardings/rollouts with EMRs/practice management solutions, and I can genuinely say that I have not experienced a more helpful, prompt, and just all around wonderful team than the one we had with Zenoti. [sensitive content hidden] and [sensitive content hidden] were amazingly responsive and had great questions and feedback that helped us set the system up the way we needed.

Minpunten:

While Zenoti really excels in reporting and customization options, there are some aspects of the clinical usage that could be a bit more robust, and I would love to see an integration with Alle or other rewards programs! It's also not the most intuitive system to use/learn - but I have not worked with any software that has as many guides as Zenoti that show step by step how to do something. They also have weekly in-person trainings and Q+A for all users, I have attended one so far and found it incredibly helpful. So training and guidance is readily available after onboarding, which really helps with the less intuitive aspects.

Zenoti On Boarding

We went Live with Zenoti July 2024. The Zenoti implementation and data transfer team was patient, responsive and dedicated to getting our practice up and running. [sensitive content hidden], the main project contacts, were extremely knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way. I greatly appreciated their willingness to assist and ensure we were satisfied with the experience.

Minpunten:

While we have only been Live a couple months I am finding some pitfalls. One main issue was with the transfer of data into a patient gallery. There is no way to create folders by year within the gallery. There is a lot of updates Zenoti could make to improve gallery functions/ease of use/finding information.

Opmerkingen: As we transitioned to a new Zenoti program, the support and expertise provided by [sensitive content hidden] was incredible. They were extremely knowledgeable about the product and were willing to help make the transition as smooth as possible. It was great working with these professionals.

Opmerkingen: GOOD, I AM GETTING TO KNOW THE SYSTEM WELL BUT IT IS DEFINITELY A LEARNING CURVE ESPECIALLY FOR SOMEONE THAT IS NOT AN IT EXPERT.
