Great organization for my membership.
Pluspunten:
Very easy to pull up members accounts, billing information, general contact information, and the reps information. Making membership mailing labels and membership reports is very easy with this software. I use this software to easily find any membership representative information I need. This software has also made it easy to look up and find a member.
Minpunten:
The only con I have for this software would be the new update, i'm so used to the old version it'll take time to learn the updated.
An eye opening experience.
Opmerkingen: Pretty easy onboarding and such an improvement from what we came from! Good reports and easy of sign up for classes and events.

[sensitive content hidden]!!! and now she is gone! We felt comfortable most of the time and it really is a great platform - once you learn it it is pretty easy to maneuver

Poor functionality and customer service
Pluspunten:
It sends out membership renewal notices and event reminders
Minpunten:
Some of the main features just don't work, and after months of calling weekly to their customer service, they still don't seem to understand nor respond to the issue. I've asked to escalate the problem due to our members' complaints and time sensitive event deadlines, and they've been slow to respond and have repeatedly ignored my requests to talk to management. It's been 6 months now, and tech issues are still unresolved while they continue to charge us for services we aren't getting. If you have a choice, use a different software so you won't have to go through the headache of transitioning over your members.

Great platform for Chambers
Opmerkingen: Much better than any association platform I've used. Staff is helpful and friendly. Most issues are answered very quickly.

User friendly and intuitive design. Lots of helpful features that work in day-today operations.
Minpunten:
Customer service can be slow for issues that aren't basic. The email marketing platform isn't as good as standalone EMS.

Good Product/Poor Customer Service
Opmerkingen: I think the product is generally good and can do what we need. I would like to see the issues noted above addressed. I think a quarterly check-in call with a customer service rep to go over any user questions and educate us on whether we are using the product to the extent we should be would be appreciated and certainly enable me to give GrowthZone and solid 9 or 10
Pluspunten:
It is fairly user friendly. We switched to GrowthZone from our previous system because it had all the features we wanted. The set up experience was great and our representative was very knowledgeable and wonderful to work with.
Minpunten:
It is impossible to reach a real person in customer service. When I reach out via telephone or chat it is always for something that is time sensitive, and that I cannot find in the Knowledge Center. I am not reaching out unless it is something that is important to the operations or our association and it is very aggravating to stay on hold forever and sometimes never reach a support person or get a call back. If the question is not urgent, I'm happy to use email. I actually have an item right now that is too complicated to put in either a chat or email that I need help with however I don't have 2 hours to sit on hold. I will probably try to call tomorrow to see if things have gotten any better.

Opmerkingen: Overall it has been great. We came from a very old and outdated AMS and this has been a wonderful transition.
Pluspunten:
It is very user friendly. Easy to create emails, easy to update the front end of the website, etc. It also has nice features such as marketing automation and sponsor ads.
Minpunten:
There are a few things that don't work as one would hope, but GZ is good about making updates. The customer service through email is very very slow. It takes weeks to get a response back.

Robust - user friendly system
Opmerkingen: We moved from ChamberMaster to Growthzone and have loved it. Having a one-stop shop for all AR (as we do this for 5 separate companies). Being able to have multiple invoices and bank accounts - wow!

Why is GZ different? Answer ..... Customer Service Team!
Opmerkingen: i started using GZ 4 days before the pandemic was announced by WHO. i had ZERO training or knowledge of GZ. My lifeline was the support team. I was in the chat several times a day, i took all courses offered (more than once) and documented everything i discussed with the customer service team. If it would not have been the TREMENDOUS customer support, i would not have succeeded in getting the client up and running as quickly as i did. AND they never spoke to me in a tone that would have indicated "you should know this". They were always willing to walk me through the basics and over time, my questions grew and more complicated. Through it all, the customer service team is an extension of me and they make me better and smarter each time i call. They are what makes GZ different from other providers. THANK YOU!

Minpunten:
- cannot add custom fields - some module areas are not very flexible or user friendly - basic reports are missing the ability to add fields that show up on other reports - you cannot undo a mistake - would love to have an option on the tool bar to see the last few records you were on so you dont have to continue to toggle back and forth

Opmerkingen: Sure there have been a few hiccups, but overall, I am so pleased with GrowthZone. I also love all the people -- they are great on the phone, on webinars, and making us all feel like friends at conferences!
Pluspunten:
Coming from another AMS, GrowthZone has saved me so much time on the day to day operations. Dues billing takes moments, rather than days of cutting and pasting. Setting up an event and seeing the results of the event is fantastic.
Minpunten:
My onboarding was a little difficult, but the staff was fairly new to the real estate industry, so it was understandable. If I had to point out one fault, it's that some basic asks haven't been addressed in the queue/vote for improvements. However, we're on our third year now, and despite that, still love it!

Easy tracking of events, members and visibility of the Info Hub to members. The knowledge base to research answers to common questions is very appreciated.
Minpunten:
Having to update the same information in multiple locations when a member updates their info. Would also appreciate more detailed information on the invoices so that members can understand the time period covered for annual dues.

A pleasure to work with this group
Opmerkingen: Growth Zone has been extremely pleasant to deal with and while there have been some growing pains, things are working out well over our last year in the system.

This membership system is very easy to work with and if there are problems, the support system is top notch with the live chat and then a transcript of what was discussed. The video library has many useful sessions.

I would like to see a better way to show memberships to have a more accurate representation of numbers that are what is showing in M1.

Great Association Management Software
Opmerkingen: Overall, I find this is one of the best Association Management software suites that I have used and I have used quite a few! it feels like the developers understand the association world and have built the software with several of the exceptions that may come up in associations
Pluspunten:
Ease of use and navigation. Can pretty much figure things out on your own and if not, knowledge base is helpful.
Minpunten:
If you do need to reach customer support, it sometimes take a bit for them to get back to you.
Growth Zone Review

Ten mile lake association
Opmerkingen: Pretty good overall but my onboarding left a lot to be desired. I think at the time no one really got what we were trying to do. Been fixing it ever since.
Pluspunten:
Flexibility and good support lately but we had real problems with your accounting people at the beginning.
Minpunten:
Not designed for non-profit, so many terms are hard coded that don’t go well with our situation. Also accounting system is not flexible enough for our needs. Still have issues with similar reports not matching our records.

Easy to use CRM with great reports
Opmerkingen: The onboarding was very well organized, and the learning modules were easy to follow.
Pluspunten:
The visual layout of key performance indicators to easily track and see changes in revenue, membership, event participation, etc.
Minpunten:
The newsletter or communications section could be more robust to become comparable to other vendors like Emma or ConstantContact. It’s what we use to engage and promote our events and membership, so the marketing tool is very important.

Makes Membership Management So Easy
Pluspunten:
Easy to use, so many great features, replaced a number of apps and programs used in the office so that everything was consolidated.
Minpunten:
A map feature in the reporting section would be great - be able to map member visits based on the addresses in the system. We currently do this manually but it would be nice to use our database instead.

Opmerkingen: GrowthZone has been a huge learning curve, but a fascinating one. It has made things so much easier on the back end of all of our processes. I just said today that if I had the time I could dive in to GrowthZone and spend hours making our systems even better. There are so many options and abilities to streamline work with this system.

Minpunten:
We would like to see the events area improved some. The exhibitors section does not jive well with the sponsors. Our sponsors get free event tickets and the ability to exhibit as well. Also, the event emails show the sponsor logos looking jumbled and mismatched so we were not able to show our sponsors when using that function. (I used the email designer when we needed to show our sponsors.) The sponsor logos also look different on the event page vs. the registration page. We much prefer the format used on the registration page. Finally, it would be awesome to be able to create a landing page for an event. We tried to use the event page for that purpose, but it was hard because the description box is not like the website tool, it is very 'old school' to do graphics and text in. For our next conference we will build a web page to have it look more professional.

The beginnings of a database
Opmerkingen: Don't know what we would do without the support. Overever we always are concerned about the monthly charges which our BOD always questions. We use support for questions that we need answered immediately to finish a setup, event or project and rarely take or have the time to really learn best practices for the next time or for newer employees to try.
Pluspunten:
Keeps membership records, member usage, tranfers to website, accounting of member participation. Tracking email correspondences. Software has been used for years - with various employees, we need the time and personnel and education to improve our database - remove old old event information and correct membership records.
Minpunten:
Need a better way to use GrowthZone when at events. No longer use or trust the payment processing and still need to use other software. Website setup has little flexibility and is time consuming - not easy to use or change. Struggling to transfer accounting into Quickbooks 2021. Lots of issues which I am told are from Quickbooks. No helpful - have you ever tried to get an answer from QB? Life is too short! need CM to help and be able to know the accounting software better...
Simple to use; robust data all in one place
Pluspunten:
I love the fact that it's easy for our members to utilize the Info Hub to manage their membership. I also like the fact that using it for business development (prospects, leads, etc.) managing a pipeline AND using it for account management is SIMPLE and doesn't require duplicative effort to input information in 2 places. The integration between Outlook and Growth Zone really helps to streamline our work.
Minpunten:
Although I've been using the system for more than a year, I can't think of anything off hand that I don't like about it. I love the fact that we can provide feedback to our Administrator and she will escalate to GZ, but also she encourages us to VOTE on future enhancements.
I love ChamberMaster/ GrowthZone
Pluspunten:
I love our ChamberMaster software. Customer Support is fairly quick to respond to issues. They also try to roll out new features/ updates as often as possible. They do listen to their customers and try to provide the services we need, although some of it comes with an extra price tag. We already use the biggest package, so we do wish new features were automatically included with our package.
Minpunten:
Sometimes I feel like I know the system better than some of the customer service reps. I always have to be very detailed when I have an issue. And a lot of times they reply back and tell me something that I already stated in the original email. I don't feel like they are very thorough when reading the emails we submit when we're having an issue.
