Simple to integrate, powerful to use!

Pluspunten:
Class Dojo is like a teacher's digital classroom management assistant! There's lots to love! - First, it's free. Who doesn't like free? - Next, it's extremely user-friendly. Within 15 minutes you can set-up and learn to navigate the features and layout. In just 5 more minutes, you can roll it out to your classroom. Teacher's are already lacking time, and the simplicity of this platform is wonderful. - It's versatile! You can use it systematically as an everyday part of your lesson - managing and tracking behavior and learning data or you can use it for a much less intensive purpose like tracking time, adding audio cues for your students, keeping a scoreboard during a game, etc. - Parents can link with their students to learn more. This creates a paperless communication system between the student and home. - They've recently added a digital portfolio piece for students. I'm still new and exploring, but this looks to be a powerful addition that students/teachers could use for creating and sharing assignments (reducing paper). It seems to also have built-in features (activities), too. Excited to learn more! - Last but not least, I suppose my favorite, yet simple, reason I love ClassDojo is that it just reminds me to be positive. I can focus on the positive I see in students and reward and reinforce their positive behavior.
Minpunten:
This is not a con to ClassDojo, but just an observation - ClassDojo will not solve all of your classroom management issues. It is not a quick, easy fix, so don't view it that way. You have to carefully consider usage if you want this to be a main ingredient in your classroom. In that train of thought, it could cause students to act even more negatively because they're now able to gain a bigger audience and receive more attention. Once again, this is not a ClassDojo problem, I just want future users to be aware.

Perfect for both students and teachers!
Opmerkingen: Uploading videos, pictures, messaging students and parents, organizing daily work, this app does everything. If you do online teaching, you need ClassDojo. The whole design is adorable, students love it. It's so interactive. It's easy to use for both me the instructor and my students. We love this cute little app! Two thumbs up
Pluspunten:
Organization!! From a teacher aspect, the organization of my classwork, attendance, student profiles, everything is so easily managed. My students love the class icons and the whole way their profiles look. Parents can easily access information for their child. ClassDojo has been a savior since the pandemic.
Minpunten:
You have to be billed for the whole year. It's $60. It would be nice to be able to pay for this monthly so it isn't such a hefty initial purchase.

Don't have much good to say about this app. all it does it make what could be done for free cost $$ and as usual all the 5 star ratings are fake.
Minpunten:
Constantly asking you to pay for something that is currently free which is simple communication with the teacher. Already both I and the teacher have bypassed it and started using WhatsApp to communicate. the parents group also uses WhatsApp to communicate and that works just fine. I feel like when ever the app communicates with me I actually don't know if its the teacher or a robot talking. Basically it takes simple communication and complicates it and then asks you to pay for that complication.

Opmerkingen: ClassDojo has been such an easy and simple software to use. I truly don’t think I had a bad experience.
Pluspunten:
I feel like I love the ease and structure of messaging with parents. Do you have the option to post on a class story or send individual messages to parents that may be more important.
Minpunten:
The only thing I would change about the software is allowing more points to be given then just five points at a time.

Best tool for school staff
Opmerkingen: The advantage was that the kids could easily observe their progress and were very eager to win points. With lovely animations, the software has made their website more kid-friendly.
Pluspunten:
I appreciate how simple and user-friendly it is to set up. Parents may monitor their children's behaviors, and it helps me keep track of both positive and negative student behaviors.
Minpunten:
A GREAT, FUN, and FREE program that makes it simple for children to keep track of their conduct .It is also a fantastic piece of software that encourages collaboration with families and community.
