Holistic secure access
Pluspunten:
Visulox allows us to provide holistic external access with comprehensive monitoring while tracking all activities performed.
Minpunten:
The visuolox configuration requires a certain leadtime in order to adapt the settings to the underlying business processes but this will be also the case for most other applications which are highly customizable. So this is not really a disadvantage.
Great Software
Opmerkingen: Great product overall - the implementation process with the support engineers was very quick and simple. They've sized the application perfectly for our enviornment and we are satisfied with the increased productivity compared to "before Visulox". There are still a couple of requested features in work, we requested for overall impreovement - Amitego was very attentive when we requested those and we can't wait to have those also onboard.
Pluspunten:
It works - the product is very user and admin friedly. The implementation of automation processes is a great possibilty to enhance the effectivity of the product and causes less manual doings within the software.
Minpunten:
The password self-service function is buggy in our enviornment.. a fix is in work but not there yet.

Platform independent and up to a degree a clientless approach.
Minpunten:
Rather complex configurations and limitations on the various access methods.

Pluspunten:
We use visulox from everywhere. As we are a completely remote organization, all of our employees as well as our third party partner have secure and centralized access to work together. For us its all about compliance and robust documentation who did what where and when. MFA is crucial for us working from remote
Minpunten:
GUI could be more modern but it´s okay and very efficient to work with
Eerder overwogen alternatieven: Heimdal Remote Desktop
Redenen om voor VISULOX te kiezen: We are away from cyberark as the support was not there for us. VISULOX is also much more cost-sensitive for us during operation.

first of all: it works and the support is great if you have an issue
Minpunten:
don't have anything to complain. We got great support and Visulox and if we had outage it was fixed realy fast. There was an longerlasting problem once, with the Gateway, which had to be restarted everytime that occured, but this was just once a problem for customers, after we knew the workarround nobody did recocgnice it anymore (at it is ~5 years ago) So everything is running fine.
