Wat is AppO?
AppO splitst complexe beslissingen op in eenvoudige stappen, en analyseert tegelijkertijd de impact van verschillende standpunten van belanghebbenden, meerdere strategieën en meningen van deskundigen. Het kan automatisch de "consensuspositie" tussen belanghebbenden en strategieën voorstellen en ook eventuele onevenwichtigheden in de uitgaven aan het licht brengen.
In combinatie met bijvoorbeeld focusgroepresultaten kan het ervoor zorgen dat meningen van klanten enz. in je strategie, portfolio-ontwikkeling en zakelijke besluitvormingprocessen worden opgenomen.

Working wonders in resources
Opmerkingen: Working in the resources industry we are often challenged by the complexity of capital investment decisions. Thankfully we found AppO so now our decisions are made simply, regardless of complexity and in a much shorter timeframe that without AppO. We couldn’t recommend AppO more highly.
Pluspunten:
Being able to model our full cost/benefit analysis alongside our ESG considerations. Also being able to model our entire corporate structure.
Minpunten:
Visualisation could be mare graphically based but we were able to work with it.
Investing in Multiple Markets
Opmerkingen: Many companies, like us, operate in multiple markets and multiple countries, which makes it difficult from a corporate perspective to compare investment opportunities across those markets. Finding AppO eliminated the issue entirely, presenting us with detailed comparisons of relative business value for each of the potential investments even though the differing markets required differing approaches to measuring value.
Pluspunten:
Comparing investments made in differing markets and under differing business models.
Minpunten:
Currency conversion does not occur on the fly.

Thank you Gregory, we understand your ease of use concerns and are currently implementing changes to make AppO even more intuitive and easy to use.
Establishing Production Capacity
Opmerkingen: We needed to make a critical decision about creating further production capacity. Were we going to outsource, build from scratch, acquire pre-built and fit-out? When we laid out the basis of the decision we found we had over 100 selection criteria many of which were intangible. AppO made light work of the problem and we were even able to identify a series of fall-back strategies on project options.
Pluspunten:
The ability to develop multiple strategies and plans and understand the relative value of each plan to the business. You talk about having a plan B, we have plans C and D as well, each potentially triggered at by pre-specified project status conditions.
Minpunten:
Pairwise comparison can be onerous for an executive. We set the upper level priorities at an executive level and our production managers and construction advisers to populate the rest.
