Highly customizable and efficient eQMS

Opmerkingen: QT9 is a very solid and dense software that can be tailored to the needs of any business. User access and admin controls are very deep and easy to use. The module and workflows are plentiful, and while they can be intimidating to implement, once you dig in a really understand what the software features can do, the reward is high as the software is able to create and track so much.

Pluspunten:

The ability to creature user defined fields that could be tailored specifically to the record of document that was being created in the system was extremely useful when transitioning from established Quality processes from our previous paper-based QMS to this electronic software.

Minpunten:

Implementation was a bit of a challenge. While we did have support from the developer and implementation team, the training seminars available were not nearly as helpful as simply diving into the sandbox environment and see what the system could actually do.

QT9 Quality Management System

Opmerkingen: Before using QT9 data gathering and analysis was difficult at best. Now we have the ability to analyze data in order to make real changes to the quality of our processes and products.

Pluspunten:

Easy to set up and use, yet very powerful reporting capabilities. As the administrator I can add users, structure drop down menus, etc. myself and don't have to rely on outside sources.

Minpunten:

Nothing currently comes to mind, but this is because QT9 asks their customers to submit feature requests for improvement ideas.

Redenen om over te stappen op QT9 QMS: The other products offered a "core" package of modules, with the option to purchase others for an additional cost. QT9 provides everything for a single price. Because their pricing is by concurrent licenses it is much more scalable.

A little more flexibility with creating own fields would be great.

Limited Flexability

Opmerkingen: To be honest we do not use all the modules within QT9 but the ones we do use allow us to get by and pass our QMS audits, but for the power user like myself that wants to extract detailed performance data you’ll have to extract the data and pull it into excel and manipulate it to get metrics you need.
What you see is what you get, no customizing nothing. No overdue notifications or escalation process built in.

Pluspunten:

Ease of rolling out the product. Built in forms are helpful for a beginner. There are some features if you dig into the settings that allow you minor custom uses. The Calibration and Prevenative Maintenance Modules are promising and somewhat helpful. The document control module has worked well for us.

Minpunten:

1. the biggest disappointment - No customability of modules and forms. Lots of tabs on the nonconforming product and corrective action forms and you cannot get rid of the tabs you do not need, You cannot even hide the tabs. Absolutely no customization to tailor to your organization. 2. No email reminders if you have overdue actions pending, you’ll have to look at the database daily. 3. No filtering of overdue items in perato analysis. You can filter: Open Items, Closed, Rejected, Submitted and deleted but nothing to tell you if an item is past due. No email notifications if an item goes past due. You can only disply the entire reports that are overdue. 4. Ad Hoc Reports are Lackluster for reporting performance data analysis (Perato Analysis, Bar Graphs, Line Graphs etc) Nothing here to help you determine how effective or ineffective your QMS is. 5. If you have more than one process approver (Risk, CA’s, NC’s etc) and one of them approves the action the other approvers cannot go back and make changes. Your locked out. I had myself and one other person approving a risk and the other approver approved the risk and I could not make any changes. I had to delete the entire risk action and start over. 6. Only exports to CSV files not Excel .xlsx extensions 7. Internal audit module - build a schedule only. No prefilled forms to use, no form development capabilities.

Pluspunten:

Everything you need for your QMS all in one package. Easy to use. Awesome customer service and support.

Minpunten:

There is nothing I do not like about QT9.

Pluspunten:

QT9 as a QMS has helped to digitize many processes that would otherwise have been handled through paper documentation. This gives greater control and traceability and is especially helpful during regulatory Audits allowing us to show that we have processes in control.

Minpunten:

The inability to communicate with other data systems.

One stop shop!

Opmerkingen: It is a one stop shop for managing a tracking audits and training.

Pluspunten:

Ease of implementation. Customer support and available training.

Minpunten:

Timeouts. It does not autosave progression lengthy audit tasks.

What I like the most is its wide range of features and its ease of use. Not only can I efficiently manage my projects in one place, but I can also track my regulatory compliance in real time and keep my quality system paperless.

Minpunten:

The initial learning curve can be a bit steep for those unfamiliar with the system.

Very happy QT9 QMS user!

Opmerkingen: Our quality management program is newly developed so we built the functionality as we rolled out each quality policy and procedure. The system supports our growing program and will support us as we continue to grow our business.

Pluspunten:

Very flexible with controls and support that make the job of quality management much easier. We also purchased the QT9 ERP and are looking forward to implementing this functionality in the near future.

Minpunten:

I have not heard a single complaint. We have a very diverse workforce that have used a variety of QMS systems and all have very positive things to say about our system and how we use the QT9 QMS.

Great functionality and pricing

Opmerkingen: The customer training and support offered (at no extra cost!) made the implementation from our paper based systems to QT9 software nearly stress free. We now have a transparent QMS system that drives consistany, ownership, and continual improvement. It has been a key system to achieving and maintaining our compliance to ISO 9001:2015. I can't say enough about what a great partner QT9 has been and continues to be in supporting our QMS.

Pluspunten:

We spent a solid 6 months searching for QMS software that would be a best fit for our company. QT9 was an easy choice when stacked up against 'big name' programs. It is a user friendly platform, highly configurable, provides transparency to all levels of our organization, reasonable pricing, amazing customer service/support, and you get the entire system- no extra cost to implement or customize a new module.

Minpunten:

The training module is too rigid and maintenance heavy for our training and documentation needs.

Ease of use and satisfies functions of ISO.

Minpunten:

When printing CAR's and PAR's make the "unhide related files" feature a global feature, not have to be selected every time a report is printed.

A Solid Solution for online QMS.

Opmerkingen: Overall, QT9 has been a solid software for us to centralize our documentation, calibration, CARs and SCARs. It's made presentation during our ISO audits easier, as well as helping us to identify gaps in our documentation.

Pluspunten:

1. Ability to capture and track information during the Corrective Action Process. It's never lost due to the Timeline feature. 2. Revision history stored electronically on all documentation makes it easy to understand why documents were updated. 3. Easy to teach new employees how to use. A "learn by use" system that has extensive training modules/support.

Minpunten:

Some modules, like MRB, have too many required fields. Can make the process of red tagging suspect material time consuming. For printing documents, should be able to customize the layout by drag-and-drop to fit only what you need on one page (CARs, Projects, MRB tags, etc). For example, I may not need all the Additional Information fields for a CAR (WO, PO, Lot, etc), so I should be able to remove them from the printed pdf report just by dragging the field out of the preview page.

QT9 Overview

We think this is a phenomenal system, very user friendly and easy to implement, the online tracking / recording / timeline view is very useful and saves our company a lot of time.

Minpunten:

Could use some more reporting functions included in the reporting module, being able to pull and connect all data would be great.

Great for companies of any size!

Opmerkingen: This is the second organization that I've worked for that has used QT9. It's been great at both places, and I look forward to exposing other companies to this software.

Pluspunten:

QT9 is highly scalable. It's easy to add more users, more documents, or more site if necessary.

Minpunten:

As with any software, there is a bit of a learning curve. However, the customer support is great.

Fair Quality Management System

One software for multiple uses such as corrective actions, maintenance, calibration, etc.

Minpunten:

Poor access to your own data, such as the ability not to remove records that you own. This junks up the system, such as calibrations with trash records.

QT9 QMS Software

Opmerkingen: The software is good and the staff is more than happy to help if you have a problem.

Pluspunten:

I like the ease in which you can control the documents. The software manages the old versions and changes of the documents on the revision changes which makes life much easier for the document control aspect of our QMS.

Minpunten:

Some of the modules I cannot modify in a way that would be useful for my organization.

A World of Difference

Pluspunten:

Implementation of the Document Control Module was a game-changer for our organization as we were still operating under a paper-based system. Document creation and changes are so much more efficient now that we are utilizing QT9 QMS.

Minpunten:

Not really applicable. Concerns I have had with the system I know are being addressed with the next revision of the software because the QT9 Software team is receptive to its customers' concerns.

Easy to use and configure

The workflow is easy to understand and it is nice that most of the modules are interconnected.

The collaboration feature was a little difficult to implement for our organization as we didn't find that it was very intuitive.

The software is very user friendly and easy to navigate. QT9 provides so many modules and can capture data/info from different departments in one location.

Minpunten:

It would be beneficial to drop and add files versus the current process for adding files.

QT9 Implementation and Population

Pluspunten:

For CARs, the information is all in one convenient location. The Employee Training location allows us to attach documents (we keep Curriculum Vitae in the Related Files section). This allows for a one-stop-shop when audited on employee training and experience. Vendor has been incredibly interactive and helpful when we have had questions/concerns. Also provided requested on-site training that met our expectations and timeline.

Minpunten:

Unable to perform 'text' searches. For example, performing a search within the Master File attachments for a term or other document number is not available. In addition, I create training records for new hires; the content and attributes are always the same. It would be helpful if I could copy an existing record. As part of the Quality organization, I notice grammatical errors. QT9 has several messages that contain mis-spellings.

Pluspunten:

Using this software, I can easily monitor my projects timeline. It is very transparent as you can see all the approved or reject works.

Minpunten:

You still need to adjust by the modules to fit on your desirable project or task. Just need to create and evaluate.
