There is no negative review about this software. I do not hear any negative review from my coworkers either.

Pluspunten:
The function I like the most how easy and user friendly it is to submit a claim, verify the information is correct and it has been accepted, reviewed and submitted to the payer.
Minpunten:
With my experience using Waystar, I really can not think of any aspect that I do not like or that needs to be better.
Fake Integration and Cheat on Bills
Pluspunten:
None. I dont like it. They cheated on advertising.
Minpunten:
Our company opted for this service because it was advertised as a partner with another clinical software we use, promising smooth integration for billing purposes. However, the reality has been quite the opposite. The integration has never functioned properly, and the Waystar team has consistently avoided taking responsibility. Adding to the frustration, despite using their software for less than two months at a monthly cost of under $1000, we were astounded to find an additional charge of $15,000 on our bill. Do more testS before you decide to move to their software.

Great Product
Opmerkingen: Waystar has helped to bundle processes into one solution. Ins verification, Claims, and patient statements are all in one system.
Pluspunten:
I like the ease of use. Offers several different functions for the providers office that allows us to streamline processes.
Minpunten:
Every time I log in to the system, I have to agree to terms of use. There should be an option to agree to this in the beginning and not have to do every time.

Clearinghouse used for Hospice & HomeHealth billing for 6 years
Opmerkingen: I don't have as much daily use of the software as I used to; but I would recommend it.
Pluspunten:
I've used Waystar just about 6 years (since it was Zirmed). Navigation of the software is pretty cut & dry. I was billing only hospice Medicare when I was introduced to this product, but started home health billing as well as private insurance payers as well. I prefer the original format of the rejected claims page, but understand the need for more search parameters. Maybe that makes me "old school". When our office was setting up new information in the software, support was always available and very helpful. I'm not sure how often this happens, but I even had the direct cell phone line of the gentleman helping get us up and running. He never complained once about our calls.
Minpunten:
The update to the rejected claims dashboard a couple of years ago. I've gotten used to it but still think the original functionality was better. I used the "show me the original format" button until the day they required all users to update.

Waystar
Opmerkingen: Sending claims daily, watching for rejections, etc.
Pluspunten:
The work groups make it easy to work the claims, we still have some glitches to be worked out but so far so good!
Minpunten:
I haven’t found much that I don’t like. I just wish some of the “catches” were easier to fix.
Medical Payments Made Easy!
Pluspunten:
Really easy to apply and receive payments from patients.
Minpunten:
I have not encountered any issues with this software. It does everything we need it to for our day to day functions.

ZirMed claims
Opmerkingen: I find that ZirMed is on top of billing regulations. Claims are easy to correct. Adding insurance is a bit tricky as it removes information which has to be re-entered.
Great, easy way to see front-end rejections and access transmitted claims.
Pluspunten:
Separates each client by system and shows individually and total rejected claims. Can see claims of all statuses at any point in time.
Minpunten:
So many e-mails about every little thing and multiple each day. Really easy to cancel claims even if the problem was not fixed.

This provides a solution for your medical warehouse billing

If you are a large practice, this program can save you time and money by simplifying the claims processing for you.
Minpunten:
If you are not a large practice, this may not be the best choice. I have been on paper forms for quite a while and it is difficult to change.
The best clearinghouse, etc I’ve ever used
Opmerkingen: We’ve used Zirmed/Waystar for years after switching from Gateway EDI (now Trizetto). It’s so much more user friendly and easier to search for information in batches. The customer support is WAY better, as well. Waystar has tickets you can track yourself, where as if you open a ticket in Trizetto you can’t see it afterwards so you have to keep your own records so they don’t forget about you.
Pluspunten:
Waystar is the most user friendly and comprehensive clearinghouse I’ve ever used. It’s extremely simple to search out needed information. It links with our Practice Management software systems making file submission a breeze. And the batch history And search options make it easy to Find anything you’re looking for. I like that it has a patient credit card payment feature, but I admit, we’re not using that to the full extent it’s capable of, yet.
Minpunten:
The reporting could be more extensive. We don’t have the analytics feature because the same info is in our systems, but I’m sure that would solve that issue. The billing is a little confusing. We have a parent account that used to be Zirmed and another large account that used to be Navicure. They are now both Waystar since they merged but the billing is completely different on both accounts.
Waystar has bank for your dollars
Opmerkingen: I have been working with Waystar for over 20 years and would recommend the ease of use.
Pluspunten:
We are able to have claim sweeps hourly and 277 transactions feed back into our system to ensure full claims process. Any errors are routed appropriately. We also use the eligibility and claim status functions. Having the ability to check eligibility without going to a payer portal is a game changer.
Minpunten:
Support seems to have declined since the beginning of Covid. We have reached out multiple times with questions on our invoices with no response. Our account representative insists this is not their place to assist with invoices.
Great Communication Makes My Day Better
Opmerkingen: Support is excellent. Issues are resolved quickly. Communication is always key and Waystar is available by phone, email, etc.
Pluspunten:
Waystar is integrated with my electronic records program. It was very straightforward to get started. This makes my daily life better. We are all humans and being able to review what I did or didn't do is a blessing.
Minpunten:
We are a small company and do not need a lot if the features meant for physicians.
A sad case of an incompetent company buying and ruining a great piece of software

Pluspunten:
We've used Zirmed for quite a few years. The product itself is great! Intuitive, effective, everything. We prefer to every other clearinghouse we've tried.
Minpunten:
Waystar purchased Zirmed a couple years ago. Now, the service is amount the worst I've ever heard of. Currently, about 65% of my bill goes toward a feature that I don't believe we're using. I've been through months and months of emails, calls and service tickets trying to get an answer to the very simple question, "What am I paying for?". The only confident answers I've gotten have been inaccurate, but most simply don't know. They refer me to other departments. The best part is that they also caution us not to turn off the feature, because if it is serving a purpose (which no one can confirm/deny), then we may not be able to restore it after it is turned off. It is an awful shame that this ridiculous company bought and ruined our favorite clearinghouse. We are currently looking for a product (all of which we prefer less than the zirmed product) that is being offered by a minimally operative company. The transition is very challenging - please, if you're looking for a clearinghouse, DO NOT allow yourself to become dependent on these clowns. Its where we are now and its a bad spot to be in.
great product for claim management

my abilities to work claims as they come in, before thing get out of hand. I can catch the claims as they deny and get them corrected.

there are a few times when things just don't seem to work correctly, but that would be the only time.

Opmerkingen: The benefit for using the software is that it is very informative and very easy to read and use.
Pluspunten:
The software is easy to maneuver through. I can easily find results for claims that have been submitted. Such as received date and time.
Minpunten:
I have no dislike about the software. When there are issues with the software we are immediately notified. When payors cancel service with the software we are immediately notified.

Opmerkingen: Overall Waystar has been invaluable to our company. It's a one stop shop for us for claims and payments.
Pluspunten:
This product is contracted with most insurance companies to submit Professional or Institutional claims all in one place. And, it also provides electronic remittances. Product is very easy to use and customer service is always there to help. We only use the product for claims submissions, remittances and patient billing. We don't use it for eligibility checks.
Minpunten:
I don't like that we sometimes have to wait months for customer service to come up with a resolution for any claims issues we have. And, sometimes it takes weeks for a customer service representative to work on our cases. We also wished to would give us more details on patient eligibility, but they don't and so we don't use it for that.
Great Claims Processing Software
Opmerkingen: Overall, Waystar has been great for our office.
Pluspunten:
Product is easy to use and they do provide online training for new staff members if needed. Claims get submitted with ease and if there is an issue, we are notified right away.
Minpunten:
I would like if they had a "chat box" which enabled us to speak directly with a customer service representative when needed.
Waystar is one of the best in the industry
Opmerkingen: Overall our experience has been decent. The only thing we dislike is the pricing continuing to go up, which may in the future effect if we continue to use Waystar.

Easy to use, quick to get remits back, and submitted to proper insurance channels.

Claims processing has too many categories, somethings should be combined - ex. professional claims and institutional claims data, reports, etc.

Waystar is very easy to use for all user types. I really like how simple it is to navigate the site and appreciate the links that are available when I need help understanding how to fix something on a claim for resubmission.

Great software

It is easy to use and gives such a great amount of details and data. There are so many features I'm just starting to learn about. But I love the denial management and how I put different insurance denials in different buckets. Really love this software

There is really nothing bad about it so far. It's easy to use and is full of such great information. If I had to pick something maybe the customer service it would be nice of there was a chat feature online.
Great Clearinghouse
Opmerkingen: I have used Waystar for three years (when it was Zirmed first), and I have never had any major issues. They help me resolve not just issues with their service or website, but with claims as well when the insurance says there is a timely filing or other filing issue.
Pluspunten:
I love how Waystar has EVERYTHING - claims, eligibility, patient payments, remits. And the reporting makes it easy to track what claims haven't been paid, or where there are errors in your claims that are preventing it from being paid. Appealing claims on Waystar is super easy, and tracking down claims that were paid but somehow didn't get into your EMR is also really easy.

The set up is a little cluttered, but no big deal in the grand scheme of things.
