Great UI that makes it easy to navigate through. Integrates with many companies that will assist with bill pay, utility, concierge etc.
I constantly get data retrieval errors, it loses hours I've entered and sorting through work order lists is clumsy and time consuming.

Yardi Voyager for a Commercial Real-Estate Company
Opmerkingen: Voyager is a great tool and we would choose it again!
Pluspunten:
Once set up, Yardi does a great job automating the management of our properties. We have also been able to use automated receipts and payments to allow us to process transactions wherever we are. Yardi has been built around real estate and that is evident! Customer service has also been excellent. Support reps are dedicated to helping resolve issues and follow up is great.
Minpunten:
Set up is a bit complex and choppy. Support is available and helpful, but there is not a lot of written documentation to rely on. The structure of the system and how it works is not very intuitive and you need help to get most things done. We are a Mac shop and have had significant difficulties getting set up. However, we got there and are doing great!
Powerful but Complex Property Management Software
Opmerkingen: My experience with Yardi Voyager has been positive. The platform’s comprehensive features have helped me streamline property management tasks, from accounting to tenant communication. While it took some time to get comfortable with the system, especially with the more complex functions, I’ve found that once you’re familiar with it, Yardi becomes an essential tool for efficient management. A few processes still feel a bit manual, but it’s been a strong asset for handling our day to day operations.
Pluspunten:
Its an all in one platform is efficient, combining property management, accounting, and leasing in one place. The customizable dashboards and reporting tools are great for insights, and its scalability makes it adaptable for any portfolio size.
Minpunten:
The biggest downside to Yardi Voyager is its complexity, it has a steep learning curve, especially for new users. Setting up customizations can be time consuming, and some tasks feel overly manual or require additional modules.
Yardi is...Ehh
Opmerkingen: I have used Entrata, OneSite, OnSite, eSite, and Yardi Voyager. Yardi is second to last, and eSite is last. It took me two full months to get accustomed to their platforms, which is far too long to figure out a property management platform.
Pluspunten:
It is somewhat easier to navigate after you learn it a little bit.
Minpunten:
It is a very dated leasing platform. It is not very user-friendly. I have used other property management platforms and this is one of my least favorites.
Best property Management Software

There was a learning curve on running reports and a couple employees required additional training.
The gold standard of property management softwares
Pluspunten:
Honestly I've been using it so long it's difficult to be that objective about it anymore, but I guess it's just the OG of property management software. It has some weird workflows in older versions but you get used to it.
Minpunten:
Sometimes it's not very user friendly. Sometimes it's overly customized to the customer and there is a wish for more standardization so we can work together for better training and resource materials instead of having to write them all yourself as the customer.
Yardi Voyager one of the greatest programs ever
Opmerkingen: Many years using this program I just loved it when I moved to differ3ent company we still use it.
Pluspunten:
The ease to work your way through the program. Finding the sections you want to open quickly. Ease to learn. Very simple, not a hard to use program and everything in one place. I love it.
Minpunten:
There are area's that I can not get into as they are not for my usage but they are there for the ones that need it.
Yardi Makes Residential Property Management a Breeze
Opmerkingen: I enjoy how Yardi has been designed and how easily it can be navigated. It is very user friendly.
Pluspunten:
I enjoy different ways to pull up information so that I can easily tailor it to my needs.
Minpunten:
It can be slow to pull up information during major accounting deadlines. IE rent day, or around the end of the month when the rent is being posted. We have also had problems having our third party tenant portal integrate with Yardi with it comes to Tenant Promotion function. I do have a ticket in and they are researching the problem. Tech support is quite good at times, but I find that they do not look at the documents that were uploaded on help tickets and we waste time going back and forth when all the information was provided at the beginning.
Yardi Voyager Software Useful for Property Managers
Opmerkingen: Overall I like Yardi Voyager. It is a tool useful on a daily basis to track my building's financials as well as AR and AP.
Pluspunten:
I like the nearly unlimited ability to customize Yardi to a company's needs. Detailed information available and ability to compile financial reports are invaluable.
Minpunten:
It can be very complex to use, requiring very detailed manuals. I don't find it very intuitive, but this may be due to the complexity of information it can provide.
Yardi Voyager
Opmerkingen: Overall I would prefer Yardi Voyager over Yardi Breeze.
Pluspunten:
Yardi Voyager is the best property management software for bigger portfolios, I like how much detail has gone into the build of this software program.
Minpunten:
Yardi Voyager can sometime be non-user friendly just with how much you can do on the platform.
It Does Everything
Opmerkingen: It is not perfect and most often they do try to be quick with responding to issues. The people have been great to work with.
Pluspunten:
It is such a large package that it has everything you need to manage rental properties. Having a Canadian module is a great help too.
Minpunten:
High cost of base licensing. Add-ons are very reasonable priced though. Unit based pricing does help .
User Friendly
Opmerkingen: Once you use it you start to get used to trying to find reports you need.
Pluspunten:
Once you learn how to use it it like any other management program.
Minpunten:
It's hard to figure out how to pull reports, someone has to teach you.
Yardi Voyager - Thumbs Up!
Opmerkingen: Overall - thumbs way up. I have found the system to be a reliable tool for Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Budget Creation & Management
Pluspunten:
Ease of use is at the top of my list regarding Yardi Voyager ... our company moved over to Yardi from another Real Estate Management Software about 12 years ago bringing us into the 21st century ... I love the ability to scan invoice images so when you need to refer to it later, it is at your fingertips. I rarely need to refer to hard-copy files anymore.
Minpunten:
This would likely be report customization - though I could not say if that has more to do with our system administrators than Yardi itself, it can be time-consuming and (probably) costly.

It was excruciating to learn in the very beginning, but once you get it it’s magical.
One of the most challenging parts of my job is managing Yardi.
Opmerkingen: 7s is a much better product than 6, which is a nice surprise. And payscan has worked well so far. In general, it's been a real struggle. It's just been really hard making Yardi work for my company. Occasionally, I come across a person who is great and knowledgeable, like [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and I try to reengage him or her but it's not always possible to get the same person to help. And sometimes you get one of the support team who is not very good and things can take a long time to get sorted out.....
Pluspunten:
It has a robust set of features and has many modules such as rentcafe that are native (hope I'm using that term properly) to the environment- meaning no need to integrate with third party software providers. Tech support is usually quick to respond.
Minpunten:
You really need your own Yardi tech department to get the most out of it. If you don't it becomes critical to work with a Yardi consulting firm in order to customize the software to your business or implement new features. For some reason roommates are treated differently than "primary" lesees by the system. It's infuriating that residents are handled differently just because one was entered into the system first and is considered to be the "primary" resident, even when both folks are on the lease. Moving roommates in and out of the system is a nightmare for accounting. Customizing the leasing process and documents was so difficult and time consuming I had to fire Yardi from the job and engage an outside consulting firm. Yardi refunded my support hours upon request, so that part was good. The workflow is not set up to work in places like Boston or New York. The concept of a broker is foreign to Yardi folks. If you own or manage a single large property or community where all leasing is done in -house then no problem. If you own many properties in urban areas and rely on outside brokers to rent apartments choose a different software platform. Yardi support techs can be infuriating and there is no single person or team that is responsible for my account. I have team leaders for Voyager, Payscan, RentCafe, Lease Docs etc. but no single person is really "driving the train." I've been waiting 3 months or more for the correct version of my annual invoice.
Do not purchase this software!!

Nothing. Even the UI is awful. Actually thier conference was fun but the product is awful.
Minpunten:
It is way too complicated. I have used other software that is more robust and easier to use. Yardi has increased my workload. I will spend a full day on a Yardi task.
Clunky website created by non-users.
Pluspunten:
The pros do not outweigh the cons. 1) One can use it online (same as lots of others). 2) One can use it for accounting AND property management. Not sure what else.
Minpunten:
1) Times out "for security" very quickly, yet it requires NO password to sign back on. It's just a nuisance timeout that makes you lose your work OR have to constantly remember to refresh. 2) Slow 3) Clunky system that doesn't really do a lot 4) WAY TOO many pop-up windows constantly opening. Let ME decide if I want a pop-up. 5) Way too many fields that do absolutely nothing 6) It probably can do a lot, but who knows since it's not designed by property managers and has too much non-usable information on every screen (tons and tons of non-used fields).

It's been an industry leader for so long for good reason
Opmerkingen: It's our holistic ERP. Thus far it's an industry standard for a reason.
Pluspunten:
Accounting and ledger capabilities are fantastic.
Minpunten:
Seems they still run into bugs with features that have been around for ages. User menu's aren't very intuitive. A lot of the support will provide steps to fix a problem without really understanding what the function does or why it has to be done - troublesome when you get into fixes that require several screens and complex process.
Yardi Voyager
Opmerkingen: The onboarding was awful. I wanted to cancel the conrqctnhalfway through and we were actually upgrading from an old Yardi platform, not another software. Once getting through that though it is a truly phenomenal product.
Pluspunten:
Capabilities are almost limitless. So many options and modules available. It’s expensive but can automate enough workload that administrative staffing can. It really is amazing what it can do.
Minpunten:
The onboarding was brutal. Yardi has no subject matter experts on their teams that actually care understand property management and maintenance and that makes it very difficult to speak the same language. Some of their trainers are great and some are awful. The trainers are not Yardi employees they are independent contractors.

Well known, not bad for affordable sites
Opmerkingen: Yardi is popular in the affordable rentals world. They are more flexible with custom reports than other companies, the end user experience is not bad.
Pluspunten:
Relatively user-friendly. I was able to create custom reports and our IT Dept was able to work with support to integrate my report with the data needed to eliminate manual monthly commissions reports.
Minpunten:
The cost and the fact that unless you have a dedicated support person you are farmed around a bit before receiving actual help.
Forward Thinking
Opmerkingen: I had a very positive experience with Yardi. The product and features were really nice and in line with what I needed as a marketer. They pulled their data sources together thoughtfully which makes the tool nice to use.
Pluspunten:
The reporting for marketing is thoughtful and spot on. ROI reporting, cost-per reporting, attribution reporting all really nice features for marketers and operations.
Minpunten:
Yardi in 2019 lacked some of the features that would have made it the go to choice for student properties. Other than that I had a positive Yardi experience.

Our company standard property management software
Opmerkingen: I have been doing basic user administration for a couple of years and that process has gotten easier with each upgrade.
Pluspunten:
The various modules that cover all parts of our business: commercial, investor relations and multifamily.
Minpunten:
A lot of times we do not see a status bar or any other indicator of the software processing something. Some error messages are vague or very database specific where the average person does not even understand what it means.

Yardi Voyager is user friendly
Opmerkingen: We switched from an older accounting software program to Yardi and it has made everything more efficient and everyone at the company loves it. It's easy to enter information into Yardi and also Yardi produces great reports which are easy to read for even tenants.
Pluspunten:
I love the reports that are produced from the software and the option to either had the reports in PDF format or excel. Look how easy it is to post journal entries and how you can view everything in one screen when you run the trial balance.
Minpunten:
The advance recoveries modular could be improved and more support could be provided for it.
Average but user friendly
Opmerkingen: I have liked it but it feels dated. Seems there is a lot out their with the latest and greatest
