Adobe Audition is Nice Add-On in the Creative Cloud Community

If you are already a part of the Adobe Creative Group then Audition is a rather inexpensive route to take, cause you are already paying for (check your subscription details to be sure)

Minpunten:

To pay the stand alone subscription cost you can certainly get more from other options.

Audition is a must to have

Subscription never ends

Some of this software was intuitive so I could use it for basic editing of an audio file.

Minpunten:

The subscription never ends! It is almost impossible to stop paying for this service. Do not sign up for this without trialling it to make sure it is the product you want. I have paid $32 a month for a year for this product and it did not meet my needs.

Adobe Audition is all you need for a professional sound track .

Opmerkingen: In my opinion the overall experience is generally positive. It offers a wide range of features and tools that cater to professional audio editing needs. I appreciate its flexibility, advanced functionality, and the ability to work seamlessly with other Adobe products.

Clean your audio like a PRO

Pluspunten:

My favorite thing is how easy and fast I can clean up an audio file from Premiere Pro, without having to import the audio again, I just open audition from Premiere Pro, edit the audio, and BOOM, the audio files update in Premiere.

Minpunten:

Sometimes I have a problem when connecting the PC speakers. The software sometimes lags when using speakers instead of headphones.

Adobe Audition; number 1 for me since 2003!

Opmerkingen: I've tried a lot of audio software during my time as a journalist and audition trumps the lot. Perhaps I'm stuck in my ways (can't teach an old dog new tricks) but it does appear to be the best overall. As mentioned before I love the microphone settings and the ease in which I can make a £100 microphone sound like a £1000 microphone, this is great! Its multitrack editing is awesome and easier to use than pro tools and the like. That said, I've not used audition for music creation or instrumental editing. So my view point is that of voice and trail/promo, interview creation only. I'm sure pro tools will trump adobe when it comes to music production.

Pluspunten:

The detailed microphone compression settings is without a doubt the best function of adobe audition. It's also great when you need a clean up audio hisses and pops, which can be removed easily.

Minpunten:

I guess like most long time adobe users I miss the option of purchase over subscription. I originally bought this software 20 years ago when it was Cool Edit Pro, an expensive purchase at the time. Sadly now, like everyone else, I've had to resort to a monthly or yearly fee, over a single one off expense. So in conclusion, what I like least is the ongoing cost. I also find it a little hard to navigate at times, the help section could be better. A few more sound effects and presets would also be nice.

Sounds Great

Adobe Audition is user-friendly and has a full set of tools to make podcast production and audio editing easy. Like all Adobe products, it works flawlessly alongside the rest of the Creative Suite

My only frustration with Audition is there are options on the market that accomplish many of the same functionalities without being a monthly subscription price. It is worth the cost, however, to have it integrate with other Adobe programs.

Best Audio Software: Adobe Audition

Linking up facilities with other adobe software and updated features I like most about adobe audition. It is easy to use. It has made my business more dynamic.

Slow functioning in long time work and high cost are the two thing I like least about adobe audition.

Top Quality Audio Production

Opmerkingen: It produces one of the best quality audios through mixing and editing capabilities so it has been a great and fun experience to use Adobe Audition.

Pluspunten:

It is one of the most powerful softwares to edit and mix music. We are able to edit multiple tracks easily where the music files are huge and complex. Integration with other adobe products makes it one of the best out there and the audio edited and produced from it are top notch.

Minpunten:

It can be a little difficult for first time users and is on a little expensive side due to the fact that it needs Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.

Audtion: Music to my Ears!

I really love the array of tools at your disposal in Audition. Audition is a powerful tool and has everything you might possibly need to manipulate audio. Whether it be individual audio files or crafting a multitrack file, Audition has your back with effects and tools like match loudness, delay and echo, pitch corrector, and so much more. You truly get a lot for the money.

Minpunten:

As with all things, if you aren't running this software on a computer that can handle it, you may be in trouble. I have tried to run Audition on some of my previous laptops and Audition would quit or I'd get the spinning wheel of death and it would lock up on me.

A Great Solution for Audio Technicians and Video Editors Alike...

Opmerkingen: Using Adobe Audtion has been a welcome experience when it comes to editing videos and managing audio for such videos - moving over from other software solutions, I love how 'un-clunky' Audition is. Full intergration for Adobe libraries make seamless editing when switch between software.

Pluspunten:

I love that the software, as with most of Adobe's solutions are extremely intuitive and simple to use. Being able to sync audio along to video tracks makes for super smooth editing, especially when editing testimonials & interviews.

Minpunten:

Coming from an video editing standpoint, some keyboard shortcuts were originally against what I intuitively knew from NLE video solutions, but this is totally personal preference and it is great that this can be completely customised.

My personal experience with Adobe audition.

Opmerkingen: Overall, my experience with the software is very satisfying in handling my voiceover recordings and editing it . It is my first option in comparison to other software related to audio, though I believe I have-not used the software to its full potential. My use to its options is very limited in comparison to its potential.

Pluspunten:

For me, the strongest part about the software is it's easy to import several tracks, mix and match, add effects, background music,..etc. and at the end export one track. It is simply very easy to handle several tracks all at the same time.

Minpunten:

There are no severe cons to the software. On the contrary, the software is full of options and very rich that makes it somehow complicated to use. I believe (me) having experience in other montaging software and a user other adobe software made it easy for me to use adobe audition, though I believe I still have not used the software to its full potential, there is yet a lot to discover ...What stops me, that I need some time and instructional videos to know more about sound engineering to use the software to its full potential. Conclusion: The software can be a little bit difficult to people who are not familiar with other adobe- software as well as sound engineering details (as it is full of options and menus). Room for improvement: Explain in detail how to use the software to full potential in sound engineering.

Excellent audio recording and editing workhorse, from beginners to advanced users

Opmerkingen: I record the voice overs for my audio projects (audio books, narration, commercials etc) and easily mix them with music and sound effects. The plugins integration helps me finish all the editing work in one interface , rather than using multiple ones.

Pluspunten:

1. The punch in recording feature ( a huge time saver). 2. Seamless integration with Izotope RX plugins. 3. A very handy and huge time saving feature to clean/lower all breaths in one audio file with the push of a button. Careful not to overdo it, experiement and check your file, to make sure you do not lose audio data.

Minpunten:

I am not fond of the monthly subscription. I prefer to have a lifetime license (like before). In terms of interface, in the beginning Audition looks quite intimidating; there are many little options and bits and pieces everywhere to discover and understand. But, with patience you can figure them out in a few projects.The more you practice, the better you get.

It's the program I use for audio editing and recording.

Pluspunten:

I use it mainly because of it's integration with the other Adobe apps, Premiere Pro and After Effects. It's easy to create tracks and record audio in a multi-track composition. It's good for complex and simple projects.

Minpunten:

It's price is a Cons. Audacity it's also a great product and it's free. I don't use it in super complex project so I don't know which is beast, but I know both are good, while one it's paid and the other it's free.

Best Choice for Audio Editing

Opmerkingen: Almost all of my daily audio and video works are finished using this software, and I find no other with better capabilities yet.

Pluspunten:

Easy to use. It needs almost no time for everyone to learn about how to use it.

Minpunten:

Memory requirements is too much weighing for some low end computers.

An Excellent DAW

Opmerkingen: As I said, I found the interface perplexing at times, and the dull, dark design puts me off. That being said, it's still a fully professional product, and you can use it to expand upon Premiere's pitiful audio editing tools. Well worth a visit.

Adobe Audition has been around for a very long time (remember Cool Edit Pro?), and it's come a long way since then. Adobe Audition features a staggering amount of features, and Adobe Creative Cloud users would be remiss in not trying out Adobe Audition as their editor, with its tight integration with Adobe Premiere and Adobe CC products.

Minpunten:

The interface may be confusing for some. Adobe Audition opens in the style of a simple audio editor, like Audacity, and it can be hard to find even the simplest of tasks, such as adding plugins or basic edits. Even more confusingly, the multitrack mixing interface is hidden, and I find myself googling every time how to switch to that mode. All in all, a pointlessly confusing interface.

Adobe Audition is Great for Audio Recording

Opmerkingen: It plays a major role in my earning. I live for doing voice-overs and Adobe Audition has been a great help. I'm a radio jockey and I often need to record my voice and send it to the production team. I have set up Adobe Audition with my Yeti microphone and I can easily record anytime. There are only a couple of times that I faced trouble but mostly it was my own fault...not a very tech-savvy person. lol.

Pluspunten:

It helps me record professional voiceovers for Tv and radio. I have done a lot of audio work in Audition. Be it a Vo for ads, documentaries, or other promotional campaigns, Adobe Audition provides excellent support. You can record the audio, do noise reduction and sometimes you also need to manipulate your voice for a given situation. I like the telephone effect on my voice that I have used many times. Other than that, I also use other effects to make my voice bassy and sound cooler.

Minpunten:

The audio hardware controls are complicated. I had a hard time figuring out the line-in and setting up my microphone. There should be some automatic way to connect external devices to Adobe Audition.

Audio Editing

Adobe Audition is a must have product for professional music people and along with aspiring ones. It is feature rich.

The price is a bit high and also takes a bit of time to learn the product. There are so many features that it can be hard to learn all of it.
