Opmerkingen: - I tried buying online courses off of Udemy so many times. Some of the tutors are very welcoming and they will approach you -- which I really like! I must say that buying from this platform is really worth it.

Pluspunten:

- Their refund process is very comprehensive and lenient. You can refund some bought courses if you do not like them- Contact center is quick. They can go back to you for your inquiries- They go on sale very often. Good opportunity to purchase courses- Very diverse! Whether you are in tech field or not, there may be a perfect course for you.

Minpunten:

- As much as there are several good online courses offered, there are also undesirable courses that still cannot be sorted intelligently for the users.- Their mobile app has a very limited functionality. If you need more advanced features, you still need to access their website as some functionalities and modules are not available in the mobile app.

I like the variety of content offered by Udemy Business in different disciplines. Udemy Business offers most of the courses at low prices with huge discounts. I also like the recommendation system of Udemy Business as it always suggests courses in the same track I am following

Minpunten:

There are no specializations in Udemy Business that takes you from the beginner level to the advanced level. The interface of Udemy Business is very bad and not organized at all. Most of the courses offered by Udemy Business are offered by non-professional people, anyone literally can publish his/her course through their platform.

Opmerkingen: Overall, the platform is the best at what he offers. The range of courses, the pace, the ease to navigate the platform and the customer service are all top notch.

The range of courses and the level of details for the courses are the biggest selling point for the platform. The courses are detailed and taught at a good pace which makes it easier for the team to complete their courses in time. We are always encouraging the team to take courses to help increase their skills and Udemy always has everything you need. The website and mobile app are really easy to navigate as well.

Minpunten:

The only issue which isn't really much of an issue is the pricing system. You buy a course at a full price and few days after, it is already discounted by almost 90%. If something can be done for this, it will be nice.

Opmerkingen: Udemy is a great platform to sell courses online, it's easy to use, simple to add courses and they do the marketing campaigns for their users base. The only thing that I thought a little akward in the begining was the price the courses are sold, and the money they pay you for each sale. But it's part of their game.

Pluspunten:

It's very simple to use, the steps to add a course are very effective. The marketing of the courses is great. They do it all to spread the word about your course.

Minpunten:

I knew before I started to use that the price table was very different from the ones I was used to. But I put a course to sell to 59 usd, they sold for 5usd and paid me 1.5usd per course sold. I know it's the contract, but it was so clear for me in the begining. So be aware that the prices of the courses sold will be very low.

Opmerkingen: Udemy is an affordable learning platform and offers courses from qualified instructors. There is no time-limit and users can progress at their own pace. It fits well with professionals who are working full-time and could spare only few hours a week to continue their learning. Lack of gamification elements and motivating factors makes Udemy some-what outdated platform. i.e. There is no external tools to push the user to stay on track with their course. Udemy can do better by offering graded quizzes and assessments.

Pluspunten:

Udemy offers a wide variety of courses, you may find multiple courses from different instructors on the same subject and the learner can choose the course / instructor that she suits her needs. The recorded video and audio quality is mostly good. The transcript section is extremely useful when following instructors with strong accents. We can also speed up or slow down the video for better listening. The QA section under each course acts as a forum to get our questions clarified. The ability to rate and comments on the course content is good and it helps learners to pick the best content and also helps the instructors to uphold quality.

Minpunten:

Some courses may not be up to standard and the user needs to rely on ratings and comments to find the best course on the subject. There is no built-in tests to evaluate the user's proficiency level. It's up to the user to go through the course index and content to see if it's the right amount of challenge. Once the course is completed, there are no tests to assess our learning / knowledge.

- I have been using the Udemy for ISTQB certification preparation and so far it's a great experience. - Udemy quite efficiently designs for the user's learning perspective and that's what makes it more important. - User can also rate the lectures so that the others can take benefit from them. - Udemy its self give you a certification which is also very helpful for an individual's career.

I face an error that after a period of time some lectures disappear.

I like the fact that it has a curated portfolio of courses. Udemy always seemed kinda sketchy to me because of all the creators that hosted and distributed their content in the platform, but the Business version addresses this concern.

Minpunten:

The fact that for many topics there are no courses available in the business package, even though some great options are present in the "free for all" platform. In this case, I believe one should be able to access these options and inform the application team whether they should be checked out by the curators.

Opmerkingen: Definitely positive experience as the gains were quite high at the beginning. Also satisfied with the user experience which makes the software easy to use even though I did not use it to its full potential. Unfortunately, the competition is very high.

What Ah positively struck me about this service issurely the ease of use, the ability to bulk upload content, and the fact that marketing for course sales is also included.

Minpunten:

The thing I liked least was the low profit on course sales.To earn worthwhile amounts of money, one needs to sell thousands of courses each month.

Great tool for learning Excel

The program is very user friendly. Within about 3 minutes, I felt very comfortable navigating around inside the course. The instructor in my course is very knowledgeable, has a great teaching personality, and did a great job making a boring subject interesting.

Minpunten:

My only concern would be sometimes the provided teaching material does not match exactly what the instructor is doing. This is a very minor thing though. I would still absolutely highly recommend this to learn excel.

Opmerkingen: It's a good online learning platform, even someone can offer his/her self-prepared course on Udemy. The courses that are offered by Udemy are very informative and fulfill the needs of the learners. I am satisfied.

Pluspunten:

I took a course on "Basic fire safety awareness" at Udemy a few weeks before. It was only 31 minutes online session. After completion of that session, they awarded me with a certificate that can be shared on social media platforms for other's motivation. Despite the Certificate, the important thing is their content, well prepared and full of information. I really inspired that in a very short session they covered almost all basic skills about fire safety.

Minpunten:

There is no worth of the certificate in the industry, but the worth of information and skills matters. Free trial should contain some longer sessions for more information.

Improve knowledge online

Opmerkingen: It's really helping me to get a certificate for some skills that i wanted without having to physically taking the classes.

I can manage myself easily to take which course that interest me and when i want to start the course. Getting a professional certification from this platform also quite easy.

There are no option to take the courses offline, and all the course material only available online and can't be downloaded.

There is such a huge range of courses available through Udemy, I can find one on virtually anything I think of! It's easy to manage learning pathways, to track progress, and also to share pathways and progress with colleagues. I also like being able to see pathways created by colleagues and other teams, for example a company-wide SQL one. It's an awesome platform.

Minpunten:

I don't really have complaints - perhaps that the quality of some of the courses is quite poor and the ratings do not always reflect that? Otherwise, no complaints at all.
