Pluspunten:

I love how easy it is to get started and how easy it is to use. Its so convenient, and i love that you can run credit or debit cards for payments with just your phone.

Minpunten:

I like everything about shopify POS so far.

Opmerkingen: overall we are pretty happy with shopify. It is pretty easy to use and the learning curve isn't difficult. It has some great features that really enhance our business and make things more efficient.

Pluspunten:

It is much-needed in our shop and way better than trying to use a regular register and then keep track of sales, inventory etc. It makes life a lot easier for us and the accountant. We are currently implementing a bar code system that will make it even easier and better. We carry thousands of items from many different vendors and it is a challenge to keep track. Shopify not only makes it possible, it has features that organize and allow the vendors to check in themselves and see what has sold and keep track of their inventory

Minpunten:

It occasionally crashes and is hard to restart. It can be very inopportune. It also requires a lot of hours to set up. I have only called customer service once, but it wasn't super helpful. Not bad service, just not as much as I would have liked.

Good product that is easy to use

Opmerkingen: Good with ease of use. Basic listings and keeps up with inventory as well.

Loved it all. It is great. I have no complaints.

Shopify good for a simple fast shop not the best for personalized brand

Opmerkingen: Great beginner site if you dont really want to personalize it much.

Pluspunten:

At the time Shopify made it easy to create new product listings & integrate them to etsy.

Minpunten:

Very limited on how you designed your shop and where you sold your products.

Superior analytics

Opmerkingen: The analytics are quite superior to any other industry specific tool available to us.

Pluspunten:

The UI and how easy it is to use. Specifically, I like how simple it is to being able look up products.

Minpunten:

Best way to start ecommerce website

Opmerkingen: Very satisfied and not looking to change. What's great about Shopify is that it is constantly improving and the costs remain the same. I'm sure that any issues I have now will only get smaller or fully solved.

Pluspunten:

I never had experience in running an ecommerce shop, so it was scary at first. But once I started setting up shopify, each step was so easy that I quickly became confident in running my store. Also, it is extremely cheap for the functionality you get.

Minpunten:

Certain areas lack functionality e.g. website design is very limited. Also, returns management is not good enough for us to use effectively, hence we had to use a different service for that.

Perfect if you already use shopify

Pluspunten:

Our Go-To Retail E-Commerce Integrated Program

Opmerkingen: Shopify is incredibly helpful! The ability this program has to sync up with other applications makes it a seamless tool for e-commerce. It is very easy to calculate shipping costs, print receipts, mark items as arrived, etc. As a manager who has younger part-time retail employees, I require an easy-to-use program that doesn't take an enormous amount of time to learn, and Shopify was a perfect fit!

Pluspunten:

Very easy to learn - I had to learn this program myself at my old job, no set-up training with the company I worked for, so I had to teach myself on the job, and thankfully Shopify was very easy to learn, user-friendly and offers a lot of capabilities that are easy to find in their system.

Minpunten:

Not too much to complain about, Shopify was easy to learn, my part-time employees had no problem learning it, and my favorite part was the seamless integration with things like UPS and our CRM system, so that generating shipping labels and marking retail items as arrived was a piece of cake!

A Solid Option for Small Businesses, But Not Without Its Drawbacks

Opmerkingen: I have a love-hate relationship with Shopify POS. On the one hand, it integrates seamlessly with Shopify E-commerce, which makes life much easier. On the other hand, it is not very useful as a standalone POS system. If you are not using Shopify E-commerce, I would recommend staying away from Shopify POS, as you will likely be disappointed with the lack of basic features. Additionally, customer support is difficult to reach and unhelpful.

Pluspunten:

Shopify POS has a user-friendly interface that is easy to learn and use, even for new business owners. It integrates seamlessly with Shopify e-commerce, making it easy to manage both your online and in-store sales.

Minpunten:

Shopify POS is sluggish, slow on older devices, and incompatible with non-Shopify hardware. The Order Printer app is broken even on the native iOS platform. There is no credit card payment gateway integration for merchants in the Middle East, and no inventory reporting.

Opmerkingen: Shopify has transformed our reporting and product ability to change/update our products at a moments notice. We are constantly doing different events that require unique products, and Shopify is able to meet every need we have no matter the event/product/discount/payment type. It has also been incredibly easy to teach new users who have no background with the system.

Pluspunten:

Shopify makes decision making easy for our operation. The ability to, at a glance, see how products are performing what customers want from us, and whether our pricing is fair.

Minpunten:

Would to see more customizable analytics, where you can select specific views for vertical specific metrics/reporting needs.

Shopify for small business owners

Opmerkingen: I have overall enjoyed utilizing shopify for my business needs, however didnt like the frequent glitches.

Pluspunten:

Simple for my customers to find products for sale and check out with ease.

Minpunten:

Frequently glitching or crashing when overloaded with customers.

Shopify is an easy, but expensive option.

Opmerkingen: Shopify was easy to setup and integrate. However, their fee structure was cost prohibitive for the type of print on demand business I was starting.

Pluspunten:

Shopify integrates well with other platforms like Etsy for seamless integration of print on demand products.

Minpunten:

Shopify had an expensive fee model that made it one of the more expensive options.

Pos fees Iffy........But good tracking System

Opmerkingen: They were our first pos program and were easy to signup for but please resesrch your option unlike we did.........

Pluspunten:

Very organized on the payments processed

Shopify is one of the best sets where a merchant can set his or her goods for sale this is just because it is easy to deal with and has experts to help in case of any challenge.

Minpunten:

It processes payments from different kinds of payment methods and also supports virtual payment methods.

Easy to Master

Opmerkingen: Shopify provides a simple, easy to master platform on which to layer our eCommerce shop.

Pluspunten:

e-commerce customers enter their orders, information is transmitted to our DC, the DC transmits back shipping information, the shipping information is emailed to the customer and we get paid.

Minpunten:

It still programs in computer language. Changing content isn't as simple as it could be for non-programmers like most of the users/admins probably are.

Fantastic Product!

Opmerkingen: It has been so good! I have the ability to market world wide from Zimbabwe and the website never goes down.

Pluspunten:

I find it very easy to use and their customer support is fantastic! I have had very few problems in the 8 years I have worked with them that they couldn't solve.

Minpunten:

I would like to say nothing but once in a while a template is a bit of a challenge but that may be more to do with my abilities than them.

I enjoy using Shopify especially as a consumer. It lets me know when packages ship

I can’t say there was anything I didn’t like I just chose not to continue with retail so didn’t need to use it anymore

It is beginner, friendly, but also an advanced software. You can do as little or as much as you want with it with hardly any limitations. There are so many apps, available and themes that you can create yourself. I absolutely love it.

Minpunten:

I don’t have anything negative to say about Shopify really. If I hadn’t come up with some thing, it would be that not everything is built-in and you do need an app for a lot of extra things if you don’t wanna go with Shopify pro.
