Intuitive Platform with Exceptional User Experience and Support

Pluspunten:

It has a very intuitive platform, making it easy to use. Combined with the tools it provides, it offers a great user experience, such as having a debit card, advancing your payments, or scheduling the day to receive them. Additionally, the customer support is very efficient, responding quickly and in multiple languages.

Minpunten:

I don't like that it still doesn't have a mobile app.

Opmerkingen: Overall, I'd say that Deel is the best experience for an EOR provider. They have grown exponentially in a short period of time so the personalized experience has gone down a bit. I'd still go with Deel over any other provider.

Pluspunten:

Extremely user friendly and intuitive platform. As an admin of the system, you have a lot of compliance details at your fingertips.

Minpunten:

The customer support has gone a bit down hill most probably due to their extreme growth. Where you may have received a promise of something happening previously, it now can't be done due to "risk". Also, waiting times when you put in a request of a query have extended.

Deel, International Contractor Portal

Pluspunten:

Basically what has been popping for Deel, is that you can pay international employees directly in a fast and an easy way. Also waiting for their card to be open internationally in my country, I feel this will cut of a lot of hassle for us international contractors.

Minpunten:

I dislike their customer support team, they are repetitive and uneducated when it comes to providing high customer experience. Also I dislike the fact, that it might shows on their system a certain payment day and it does not arrive until 5 days later, so basically, their system needs to reflect all and everything they speak about, and it should reflect the payment arrival directly.

Opmerkingen: It's been a relief for our company, we used to handle payroll through an app to make international transfers to our team and then we changed to Deel, our employees are happy, they receive their payments on time and have deel advance perks and discounts! Price is excellent too.

Pluspunten:

I like that payroll is way too easy to handle, it doesn't take much of my time to do it and the employees have excellent benefits.

Minpunten:

Sometimes the platform might be a bit slow or would have glitches but nothing wrong.

Amazing app!

It's easy to use, clear as well, downloading documents or extracts info is quick and easy.

Minpunten:

Deel should apply an early withdrawal one day before the contract payout when it's a holiday celebration in the country where the money is leading in order to avoid the withdrawal delay, in some cases I had to wait up to three days after the transaction.

Deel is great for managing contracts, working freelance and getting paid!

Opmerkingen: In general I can't complain, I use the platform all the time and plan to keep using it and seeing all the new features that they are currently building.

Pluspunten:

To have it all in there, being able to manage all your contracts, agreements, freelance jobs, and getting paid within the same platform. Also some external features for digital nomads such as perks.

Minpunten:

Not having a mobile app yet, which will make things easier but I'm sure they are developing it right now.

Deel Multiplies our Team

Opmerkingen: They've been great to work with on the customer-service side of things. They are quick to jump on calls. One of the better experiences as I compare to our other vendors.

Pluspunten:

We are a very small team on the people and legal side. Deel turns one person into many. The ease of use is critical and important dates don't slip through the cracks. More importantly, it gives us flexibility to meet the unique needs of various departments without anchoring us to one way of doing things.

Minpunten:

The cost per head is somewhat high given the small size of our company. The upfront contract negotiations and set up took a little bit of time.

Great payroll services

Opmerkingen: With Deel I am able to manage my offshore hires and their payroll with ease. I don't have to know local law - Deel takes care of it for me.

Pluspunten:

It's an easy onboarding for both employer and employee.

Minpunten:

The time reporting is a bit confusing (for employer). It's difficult to find historic time reports and know exactly which reports belong to which invoices. It takes unnecessary time for me to put the pieces together.

A very easy to use payment software

Opmerkingen: Overall, my experience has been great. My boss asked me to look for ways I could receive payments along with my other team members, I found Deel, and until now, payments are on time, costs are less and we don't have to wait too much time to receive the money on our bank account.

Pluspunten:

I like the fact that I can have a contract and automatically receive my payments on time.

Minpunten:

I would like to be elegible for a Deel card. Also, the bank where my debit card is associated no longer accept Deel's transactions, but I still can get the money through Swift, which is expensive.

Eerder overwogen alternatieven: Payoneer

Redenen om voor Deel te kiezen: Costs from PayPal were very high, but the decision was made when the bank didn't accept PayPal no more.

Overgestapt van: PayPal

Redenen om over te stappen op Deel: Low fees, the hability to have individual contracts and automated invoices. But specially, I read many reviews and were positive.

Not what I expected

Opmerkingen: I love it, I wasnt a fan at first! But U came to understand how it works, the benefits and the user friendly UI.

Pluspunten:

As a remote team member, I was very used to Wise and getting my payments via wise, fast and easy. But after giving Deel a shot, we became best buds. I like the data, I love knowing where things are. How many hours are submitted and best of all the human customer service. Always there to assist in any way possible.

Minpunten:

Not much really, except maybe app integration.

The best solution for our small company's global-hiring needs remains Deel

Opmerkingen: We went with Deel, even though they were slightly more expensive than comparable products, solely for their customer engagement and service factors. They have been a boon to our studio's ability to hire internationally and compliantly, and we could not have done this without them. We consider the Deel teammates assigned to our studio as a part of our overall payroll and HR team and chat with them constantly to better serve our teammates, but also to help improve the overall Deel experience for small businesses like us, who are looking to go global and tap into the talent around the world but lack the means to do it themselves.

Pluspunten:

First and foremost, the customer service is top-notch at Deel. Their teams are responsive, knowledgeable, and also self-aware enough to know when they may not have a ready answer, but they do know how to find and deliver one in a timely manner. We love the flexibility of options for hiring internationally - be it as an EOR or as a contractor but without the overhead of compliance and ensuring we're adhering to international requirements and laws we do not understand. They're also always listening to suggestions about how to provide better services and options, regardless of company size, which as a small company, we greatly appreciate.

Minpunten:

There are still some rough edges with Deel's billing system and fully fleshing out some optionality within different countries, but while this is something we don't particularly see as a pro - the opportunity that the Deel team has taken to turn cons into wins balances these negatives out. They will work through your understanding and take suggestions -- it's never a "this is it, so deal" from them. They remain collaborative and aware of their weaknesses and areas for improvement. Sometimes billing statements aren't the clearest unless you talk to their support team to decipher them, but we've already seen updates on this front and look forward to continual improvements.

Best solution when you need to hire someone globally

1. An industry leader that entered the market early in terms of international salary and compliance.2. The solutions are relatively comprehensive, with both contractor and EOR options available. There are physical entities in Russia and Belarus, and our services are not outsourced through third parties.3.The platform itself is free, and services are charged. The overall price is low, with no startup fees. Compared to several other suppliers, Deel' prices have an advantage.4. The settlement exchange rate is close to our daily algorithm and is reasonable.5. Invoicing is done on the 25th of each month for settlement, and salaries are paid to employees on the last day of each month, which is more convenient for our internal salary settlement and adjustment.6. It is worth mentioning that [sensitive content hidden], the Sales Consultant we are working with, is one of the main reasons we chose DEEL. He is fluent in both Chinese and English, has a very positive and proactive attitude, responds quickly, provides professional services, and has a professional understanding of payment risks in Belarus and Russia. He will be in charge of our entire project and will also provide us with a customer service team in the future.

Minpunten:

During our usage, there have been settlement issues due to exchange rate fluctuations, but [sensitive content hidden] was very helpful and we were able to reach a reasonable solution in the end. We haven't thought of any particular issues at the moment.

Pluspunten:

What like the most is the responsiveness of the custmer services, like sending a ticket and having their response in 24 hours. The account manager connecting us to the resources timely. However, the customer success manager changed frequently.

Minpunten:

The cost/pricing which is not very friendly to SME like us, when we really need a good long term partner for global expansion and scale up. The flexibility to solutions, or platform, or payroll cycle lag time is long which adding a lot of extra work to the current time. Like we already have our own system to apply leave, and reimbursement, or boarding etc. How to synergize those process between Deel and Appier to make better employee experiences to our employees, who won't feel they are outsider, or different than regular employees.

Love dealing with Deel

Opmerkingen: Great! I haven't had a bad experience or service with Deel. Though I thought they might want to consider self-funding accounts, but then again, they're not a banking or fiduciary service like PayPal.

Pluspunten:

It's very user-friendly and straightforward. The dashboard offers just enough views for a user to understand the services they offer. I also like the card and advance option since it gives me the ability to make purchases in USD without the need to convert.

Minpunten:

Once the money is out, you won't be able to put it back in. I thought this was something I could do since I needed to use the card for USD transactions.

Deel is a pretty easy to use and straightforward solution for handling my payments. It’s easy and cheap to transfer to bank accounts. The Deel Card is a great plus. I use it everyday

I have very little to say against the platform. I think maybe it could have specific rate at which a transaction was charged when paying something in a different currency.

deel empowers international remote workers

Opmerkingen: Very satisfied, fair exchange rates and transfer fees, easy to use interface, apparently good security practices. Good benefits. Good variety of withdrawal methods

Pluspunten:

one of the few platforms where I can get payments for international remote work in Paraguay without absurd banking fees and with fair exchange rates. Their virtual card is pretty useful too. The advance payment feature is neat although I haven't needed it yet.

Minpunten:

unfortunately they don't ship physical cards to my country and not many business accept their virtual card in my country, but the card is not the main point of this service anyways and it's likely not their fault. Also it seems they don't update that often (if at all) their information on available banks for my country, I wanted to use a bank here that's pretty young but it's not listed. Furthermore they don't support USD payments through a local bank transfer in my country only through swift which is more expensive.

When there is a hiccup in that, sometimes it can be difficult to resolve. Though at this point the efficiencies improved in day to day operations and payments still outweigh the issues I've run into.

Pluspunten:

Deel setup was done well with a dedicated support person that was incredibly responsive and helpful. To get up and running went pretty smoothly. Their customer service team is very responsive and does their best to solve issues swiftly.

Minpunten:

There are still some bugs in the software that pop up from time to time.Often teams outside of their customer service team don't have as helpful a mindset.

Very bad support - extremely inefficient

The concept sounds good - the problem is big and is worth solving - could have an amazing impact

Minpunten:

Deel sounds really good on paper, the problem they are addressing is important and their impact could be huge on both their clients and their employees. On actuality, Deel failed to meet the minimum expectations every time they were needed.The processing of the visa was delayed multiple times, and the process is full of inefficiencies. The employee is asked to use the portal to upload their documents, the portal looks good and is comprehensive but is never used by the Deel team and the employee is asked for the same information and documents every time.First payroll was delayed, the rest so far has been arriving on time.The health insurance coverage had interruptions and the support to recover insurance was delayed and underwhelming.Every government application where you'll need them will take 10 times the normal time and cost 10 times the normal cost.The support is really lacking, you will need to reach out over chat to a team that has no knowledge nor ability and is always blocked by other teams that you cannot reach to.
