Gmail is gemakkelijk en biedt vele mogelijkheden. Je kan in principe alles regelen vanuit de mail zonder dat het moeizaam verloopt.

The best E-mail service provider available in the market.

Opmerkingen: Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the service that Gmail is offering. It has replaced outlook & Yahoo mail almost completely.

Pluspunten:

We have been using Gmail workplace from G-suite. This is the most native e-mailing software with all features available. It has a great management process onboard with automatic alignment for priority. It includes a great notification system & faster delivery.

Minpunten:

I have no issues with this software. But It sometimes picks the normal email as a spam email. This is a minor issue though.

Storage space is limited. Very difficult to find a specific email. Trying to send an email with attachment from phone causes issues as it never goes.

Love for some key features & Less love for limits in customizing some other features!

Opmerkingen: Overall I will say gmail has more pros than cons! I use it every single day for a wide range of tasks, both professionally and in my personal life as well. I appreciate the ability to access most basic functions for free. I'm pretty sure, I would struggle to find a replacement for each and every way I utilize google every single day. I do worry about the monopoly-ish-type attributes I see in google as a whole though...

Hands down, in this moment in time, the most important & impactful feature of the gmail software is the ability to schedule send emails from both the mobile app and the desktop/web browser. My work provided email software does not make this feature available across platforms and this has impacted me negatively as a user. I suffer from attention deficits (as many of us do!) so if I am trying to send an email that has to be in at a certain time but its outside of the hours I want to be recorded sending it, then I may attempt to send it in the morning or later (depending on the situation) but I have then forgotten to do this at this later time! Gmail gets my vote for having this fully customizable feature to schedule send an email no matter how you are accessing your gmail account and has the feature easy to find every time!!! Thank you.

I really struggle with the inbox categorization. I haven't figured out how to ensure I am seeing all of the emails I am wanting to see in my initial inbox window. I have missed a few emails because I was only seeing "priority" or "important" etc.. but I would need to scroll down to "everything else" or "All mail" in order to find the one I needed to see!

Gmail Is Good Overall - Needs Better Search Function

It's a straightforward, easy-to-use email management system, inside of a well-integrated Google ecosystem (Google Drive, Google Calendar, etc).

Minpunten:

The search function is not as efficient as it could be. I often type in a keyword that I KNOW is in an email, but that email doesn't pop up in the search. Sometimes I have to type in the name of the person I corresponded with, or change the capitalization of the keyword in order for the email to appear.

Pluspunten:

One of the things I like most about Gmail is its powerful search functionality. For example, if you're trying to find an important email from months ago, you can simply type in a keyword, the sender's name, or even a date range, and Gmail will quickly pull up the relevant emails. This makes it incredibly easy to manage and retrieve information without having to manually sort through hundreds of messages

What I like least about Gmail is the 15 GB storage limit. Once you hit it, you either have to delete emails and files or pay for more space, which can be frustrating

Gmail is hands down a great email program

Opmerkingen: I use it both personally and professionally. You can have as many free accounts as you need, and both work well on laptop, desktop, iPad, reader, phone, etc. There is the ability to use the app and go on the internet separately, both have full functionality. The address book is a great advantage since it allows you to import your contact directly from your email or phone.

Pluspunten:

There is a lot of storage for the free version, and it works seamlessly with the google host of programs - calendar, drive, etc.

Minpunten:

It sometimes does not catch spam, even when it has been identified as spam in the spam folder (there is a separate folder for "trash" as well).

User-friendly and easy to onboard!

Opmerkingen: Overall, Gmail has been very user friendly and an easy platform to onboard new users.

Pluspunten:

Gmail makes it easy to sort incoming emails based on priority and push junk emails to spam or a separate folder that can be checked periodically without needing to consistently monitor it.

Minpunten:

When setting an away email - you are not able to set it to that same day but a different time (so it starts after the work day ends) but have to either pre-set it to that same day just before you leave or hope no one emails you after hours that day prior to a long weekend and have them miss the out-of-office notice. Launching an option for date AND time settings would be a wonderful addition.

Amazing experience with Gmail. Looking for more exciting feature.

Opmerkingen: It's really wonderful. I would highly recommend this to other as the interface is much easier than other email platforms.

It's been more than 20 years of using the gmail. I have seen many changes in those year. Every time it comes up with a eye catching update. I always like the interface.

It will be really helpful if we can send big file using the Gmail. As we have to send the file in parts or we send it using the other software due to the limit of file size.

Opmerkingen: I have been using the free version of Gmail for years. The amount of features you get access to for free, like Google Docs, Google Forms, and even the ability to forward your website business emails (yourbusiness.com) to your gmail account - all this is just amazing! Switching over to Gmail was the best decision I've ever made.

Pluspunten:

I switched over from Yahoo to Gmail years ago because Gmail automatically keeps track of all emails that are sent between parties. Meaning, when you email someone and they email you back, Gmail automatically saves every email you send to each other and keeps it in one thread. This feature alone is extremely helpful for me in my business. I can always go back into a thread and get business details from that were written months back. I also like that you can add people into your contacts list. This feature is helpful so that important client emails aren't lost in the land of Spam. Lastly, I like the way you can label emails and organize them into categories and folders. This feature prevents my inbox from getting cluttered and makes past emails easy to find.

Minpunten:

When you open a new account, sometimes it's a bit confusing to add email category folders like "Updates" and "Forums" to the main dashboard that you see as soon as you log into your account. I did go on YouTube to figure out how to add the "Updates" tab on my own though. It's a simple thing to do, but it's not very clear that you can do that when you sign up for your account.

Opmerkingen: Gmail has helped me a whole lot. With it's integration with google calendar, I am able to keep a tab on important events and quickly send out mails if I need to. This has been particularly helpful in overseeing timelines with my teams.

Pluspunten:

I like that it has a lot of varied options for customizing my inbox and the appearance or order of my inbox. From choosing which emails should appear at the top to the options for categorizing emails, gmail's custom options help make me and my team very efficient. When it comes to specific features, the conversation view has been one of my favorite ones. Allowing me to easily read through and catch up on updates I might have missed while I was away.

Minpunten:

The very efficient integration across Google's other services can be inconvenient. Sometimes, when I sign visit youtube and Google Search Engine website with my official work gmail account open, it automatically logs me in on the work account and saves my querries and web history under it; which can be problematic. I would prefer if I were prompted when i visit these other affiliated websites to choose which of my accounts I wanted to access it under.

Gmail: The Best Alternative to Paid Email Services

Overall, I am highly satisfied with Gmail and I recommend it to family and friends who need email services.

I've been using Gmail for at least 10 years for personal and business, but mores for business and it is hands down THE BEST free email provider! The many options available to send, sort, check, and save email is 2nd to none. With a spam blocker that actually keeps unwanted, unsolicited emails from my inbox, Gmail has been my go to since closing my Yahoo account. As much as I use Gmail daily, there are still some features that I have not fully explored, like Reports/Analytics, but knowing these features are available is nice for small business owners.

As feature rich as Gmail is, it can be a bit overwhelming, especially just starting out. Having a clear understanding of ways each feature can be used would be helpful. In addition, having the option to hide some features, and simplify your email homepage would be beneficial.

Gmail is the most popular and widely used email service now days. It provides its users with a lot of storage space to save emails and attachments. Sending and receiving email is very easy in it. It has dedicated mobile apps for ios and android and have two versions for web users, standard and basic web version. The basic web version is very simple and is intended for users with slow internet connectivity. Gmail account is also used to integrate a lot of google services like drive, maps, youtube etc thus making it more of necessity rather than just an email client and integrate all your data from these software at on place. It has a very good spam blocker which never lets a spam to slips past it to your inbox.

Minpunten:

I personally do not see any shortcomings in gmail as it always keep getting better and better with time.

Gmail is, by far, the simplest, cleanest most productive email client I've ever utilized. From filtering emails as they come by priority, label or into split inboxes, I'm able to see what's important first. I'm also able to search for what I need using a variety of search features, integrate with my Google Calendar, contacts and external email accounts. All of my email accounts from any source are pulled into one Gmail inbox. Gmail consistently proves to be far superior to alternatives, and stays adaptive with the times and our changing technology needs.

We've been using Gmail since the beta days, so almost twenty years. In that time, they've responded and adapted to changing technology needs, from folders migrating to labels, nested messages, to integration with the ever-expanding options of other Google products. I really have no complaints at all. Time and again, we choose Gmail to continue moving us forward for all our digital communication needs. They are simply the best.

At the beginning of using email, I was working on the Hotmail and Yahoo platforms, but when I got to know Gmail and started using it, things seemed easier. It has a simple interface that anyone can deal with. Also, the Google Meet service is very wonderful and easy to use. I enjoy the audio and video meetings that I conduct with my colleagues. In working through it The cloud archiving feature it provides is also very useful for preserving information and reviewing it later It also has many features, such as scheduling, Google Drive calendar, and many others. Most of its features are free and available to everyone, and you can use more than one account on it at the same time, or one account for all the platforms you work on.

Minpunten:

Despite its countless answers, there are some points that we must consider, such as the problem of synchronization with third parties or messages getting lost in spam.
