Pluspunten:

Dat je nu volledig onafhankelijk je boekingssysteem hebt. Waar je cadeaubroncodes (coupon) kunt uitgeven. Loyaltycards heb. En waar je klanten zelfstandig kunnen boeken, wijzigen en annuleren.

Minpunten:

In het begin is het even zoeken. Maar met goed hulp van het team [gevoelige inhoud verborgen] komt alles goed (FYI mijn leeftijd is 60 jaar dus voor elke leeftijd geschikt)

Great value and does the job

Pluspunten:

I like how the backend of the plugin works well and looks very nice - such a refreshing thing compared to a lot of other plugins. It allows us to do a lot of complicated booking without hiring a custom development firm. I also like that there is lifetime license and the pricing is very reasonable for small businesses.

Minpunten:

A few glitches here and there. Like we cannot seem to make custom fonts work and also cannot find a way to easily customize button styles.

I tried the free version first (it came with my theme). Then I bought the premium version ( I can have it on 5 websites) and I have it on 3 websites to date. The support is excellent. I have been impressed with the depth of this plugin from day one and I'm building my digital assets around this plugin. I have spent time with the documentation, which is very detailed ( I build websites-my plan is to build environments where I and other independent contractors can work remotely and virtually) and this is very important. It takes time to set up an online business that is fully functional and supports my business objectives. Ameila makes this possible. It is the best booking plugin to date. Keep up the good work!

They do not offer website templates! The demo templates arew AWESOME but they do not offer templates. Also, The templates are centered around health and fitness; Offering a variety of templates, say an event organizer template, would have been awesome.

Did not work - No Support - REFUND PLEASE!

Opmerkingen: Because I have yet heard from the company, I hope someone from their sales team will see this post. The website says if you request a refund within 15days they will consider...however I still have not heard from them after sending 2 ticket requests nor received a refund. I do not even receive a confirmation when I send them a ticket.
Until I hear back from the company, I would not recommend this to anyone. AMELIA PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR A REFUND!!!

The option for a one time purchase instead of a subscription model. Automated scheduling for appointments and events.

Minpunten:

I spent over 8 hours walking through each tutorial to set up 2 way calendar sync, Zoom integration with notifications in my WP website. I was a bit weary because I read other reviews saying they had a lot of troubleshooting errors and problems with getting everting synced with their calendars correctly. The Amelia tutorials were really extensive and also vague in some areas. They insinuated if something doesn't work...then contact the third party or contact your google administrator. RED FLAGS!! My first attempt after setting everything up and I had multiple issues...calendar did not sync, nor did it send notifications. So I tried to reach out to Support last Thursday...and still no reply. I finally decided to try the Calendly free version. Within 30min I had all my calendar integration with zoom and notification up and working with no problem. I'm sure this plugin will work if you have hours of troubleshooting time and help with a web developer...but after seeing how fast Calendly set everything up, I'm sold.

Opmerkingen: My overall experience with Amelia is that it gets the job done for everyone.

I love amelia becuase it is extremely professional and contains everything one can imagine to create a professional interface for for scheduling.

Minpunten:

It does have a learning curve. I am not a professional web developer although I do create websites. Integrating google workspace and google console is not difficult but requires time and patience.

Ameila Online Booking Plugin is a complete solution

If you are looking for a scheduling and ressource booking system for wordpress you should be fine with Amelia, give it a try starting with the free LITE version.

It is not possible to limit a service to a certain day of the week, but it is possible to do so for an employee.

Amelia Booking WP plugin

Opmerkingen: Superb overall -features that completely hit the mark for our business, costs that are very reasonable and a comprehensive support package -what's not to like?!

Pluspunten:

The plugin installs seamlessly without conflict with other plugins, it is easy to setup, despite it having a huge range of features and options these are laid out so you can get up and running quickly and then adapt/tweak to suit your requirements later. We had been using other booking plugins, none of which came close to the functionality of Amelia. There is a free version to try out many of the features - we had this installed for just a few days before being convinced the full version was the way to go. Pricing structure is great so you don't need to pay for the bits you don't need -and lifetime licenses make this a very affordable option. The support available is excellent -very knowledgeable and responsive teams who know the answers to the most obscure questions.

Easy and complex

We were searching for the right solution for our photography eshop site. Amelia is very easy to set up, use and it looks very good. Even though we use just simple features for now, we plan to integrate amelia in the purchase process in woocommerce. We also highly appreciate their support. It is very quick and useful.

Opmerkingen: Overall, we're quite happy with Amelia and how much it helped our implementation for our clients.

Amelia has a wide range of features suitable for almost any small or medium-sized business to accept bookings online for both digital and in-person services. Payment integration with Stripe is quite seamless as well.

Minpunten:

The UI/UX of the backend can be improved and customisability of the widget could be more comprehensive as well. The fallbacks for certain design aspects, eg. font colour on a dark background isn't the best out-of-the-box and may require some custom code.

Integrates cleanly and easily into WordPress sites, with integrations for Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar and Zoom. Lots of flexibility in terms of the setup of appointments and events, and easy to setup payment processing.

Minpunten:

It can takea bit of time to get everything setup as needed, and no option to export/import settings which could be helpful when we are setting up for Clients as some of the process could be replicated.

Looks good and has many display options

As a web designer, I'm especially happy about the many settings for the different display options. Setup has also been easy so far with Amelia's Youtube channel and also the fast friendly support. It's fun to experiment with the Amelia booking plugin and I look forward to using this plugin on a wide variety of projects.

the best calendar I've ever used

I have so many positive things to say about it. From the pricing, all the way through to configuring it and also how reliable and stable it is.Simple things such as being able to create an event and have the option to recur each booking whilst treating the individual event dates as separate events (For example a fitness class that happens at the same time every week, but doesn't always have the same attendees) – saves hours of admin time of creating events. But also at the same time having the option to add a series of events (such as a 4 week course) that a user pays once for and has access to all events at once is invaluable from a management perspective.Amelia also handles scheduling and working hours like a dream. Being able to pick Employees' individual services, working hours, time off and 'special days' is just fantastic from a management perspective.The packages option, combined with the step-by-step customer booking form has been optimised for conversion out of the box. It converts, and it does it whilst looking great.Not only is the frontend slick, organised and good looking – so is the management side. It's been an absolute pleasure configuring the plugin and learning how customisable it is along the way. Not only that, it's really really fast to make changes. I got a new client site set up from nothing to complete and live in 3 daysThe customer support so far has been good, and the fact they offer a lifetime license is an excellent move.

I have a few suggestions that will make the plugin better:1. Being able to add packages for Events and not just Appointments – so the user can sign up for a monthly pass that gives them access to x amount of classes, or unlimited classes. 2. Built-in customer subscriptions. Amelia can be set up to work with WooCommerce's checkout and handle subscriptions, memberships etc – but I want that seamless checkout experience that you get without redirecting to WooCommerce or having another plugin installed. Being able to offer a subscription at point of sale would be fantastic. Even just having a 'recurring' package that charges the user every month.3. Please, please add native Apple Pay integration into the Stripe payment gateway. Mollie supports Apple Pay but they are a nightmare to deal with unless you are in a specific industry or in a specific country.
