Simple system to operate and great technical support.
It could mean I end up with 20 min gaps which is a waste of time as can’t offer 20 min sessions. I would prefer to fix the appointment slots.

Pluspunten:
Power Diary offers LOTS for features: built-in CRM for email & SMS marketing, appointment reminders, and client correspondence; HIPAA compliant EMR for SOAP notes; customizable templates for SOAP notes and intake/consent forms; the flexibility to create your own SOAP notes and forms; automatic invoices generated when appointments are created; easy scheduling in-person & online through a client portal; capability of clients to pay in advance when they schedule online; Stripe integration with payment processing; reporting for KPIs to understand practice management; ability to create session packages; ability to create 1-on-1 sessions or group classes
Minpunten:
1-way sync with Google calendar - 2-way sync would be much better so that the calendars could fully communicate

Opmerkingen: Overall Power Diary is meeting the needs of our business however we have had to make a large number of changes to our processes and way of working with our clients to accommodate Power Diary. There are a number of functionalities that we would like to see.
Pluspunten:
- Visually appealing - Ability to produce multiple reports - Simple and easy to use calendar and client set up - Client online booking portal - Medicare processing - Data consistancy
Minpunten:
- Limited functions available on the calendar - cannot view single day of the week for multiple weeks - Unable to limit who access notes and profile information - anyone with can access client notes and view client profiles regardless if the client is allocated to them or not - Unable to create an overall number of sessions used in a session pack per year - this is still tracked manually

The confidential, secure billing, communication, portal, and private mode are immaculate. It is so easy to customize your needs and make the PD work for you and your practice effectively. It never has lag or downtime and they’re always working on improvements.
Minpunten:
It may be harder for less tech savvy users to customize efficiently.
Works ok - until it doesn't work - usually after an "improvement"
Opmerkingen: Assessed as the "best of a bad lot" when researching for purchase. Nothing has improved to alter that assessment. (Maybe its time to have another look). Certainly have resisted further Power Diary integrations, and using wider functionality - reliance on an organisation that doesn't care for quality is scary enough even with the limited functionality.

Easy to use for a lot of things - eg keeps the client that has been most recently used in one admin function at the top of the drop down for the next (different) function
Minpunten:
Bugs introduced with "improvements", that can impact the reputation of the Practice as they are visible to patients/clients (eg in communication templates). Clearly no regression testing, or if so, it is slipshod.Customer support - we have tired of being told stuff was fixed when it is clearly not. Nowadays we don't waste our time raising issues for most thingsThe reporting options are weakDoesn't manage "Couples" as a client well - but no competitors do eaither
Power Diary Has Alleviated The Anguish We Endured, Benefiting Both Us And Our Patients
Opmerkingen: Prior to using Power Diary I was using systems that have several disjointed parts that were not necessarily moving together in sync. Some of them seemed to be inconveniently cobbled together.Since using Power Diary, we have not seen the need for a "receptionist" or be stuck to a desk in order to manage the practice.My overall experience with Power Diary is, in so many ways, like an ongoing breath of fresh air.
Pluspunten:
1. Power Diary is feature-packed, yet very easy to use.2. The booking system is efficient and yes, effective.3. The Notes Template has come in handy, especially considering that we can customize them to our specific situations.4. One of our clients said the Client Portal is "uncluttered and easy to use". The other said it's a "massive improvement compared to what we had subjected them to previously".
Minpunten:
1. I live in a country where Stripe as a payment gateway is not used. The only payment gateway Power Diary integrates with is Stripe and as a result my clients can't pay with their credit cards via Power Diary.2. The Client Portal is and works great. It would be more useful for me and my clients if it could also have a functionality for client specific updates. Currently it is only limited to booking appointments, checking invoices and "booking classes". 3. Limited Integration. Would have loved to see ability to use more integrations.

Opmerkingen: As our business relies on good software to safely store our client data and to reliably access our daily schedules and information, Power Diary is the backbone to the efficient running of our business. We have found many helpful features that saves time and energy to collect data and to ensure accurate financial and client records are kept.

Easy to navigate, easy to see where clinicians are and who they are seeing, supports the efficient running of our busy practice.
Minpunten:
Some of the data searches are limited. Would be great to have a few more NDIS specific features to add to invoicing and client records.

Great practitioner software
Opmerkingen: I have found the support to be excellent and response time is reassuring and lets me feel confident that there is always someone there to help.
Pluspunten:
The usability and options from a therapist/admin perspective are faultless.Power Diary makes the admin side of my business a dream, the customer service is quick, friendly and always professional which and allows me to focus on what I do best, hands on therapy. Multiple options available for notes, forms, files, templates, uploads, emails etcSimple and concise invoices.Without Power Diary, moving to a paper free clinic would have been a lot tougher. Thanks!

The errors caused by some browsers? One of them, I can't remember which that affected my sessions all day until I found the answers via google.Having the option to share sound when sharing something. Having a chat when sharing to be able to send links or importants things for the client to keep.
Great practice management software

I like the ease of use and all of the automated functions. I like knowing that everything is safely in one place and that functions such as invoice distribution and chasing are so easily managed
Minpunten:
I am not fond of the telehealth system, but that is fine as I use another system already.
Very happy with PowerDiary
Opmerkingen: It had made it far easier for me to manage my practice in an integrated fashion. I’m essentially using just one to to book appointments, invoice clients, send reminders, keep notes, send letters, manage finances etc. It takes a while to have everything running from PowerDiary but it’s worth putting in the time.
Pluspunten:
The thing I really like about PowerDiary is that even with only a single diary, there are no limits on the number of users. Importantly, it is also very user friendly. There are multiple admin staff where I practice and it doesn’t take long for new users to get comfortable with the key features.
Minpunten:
I think the main limitation is the lack of internal messaging. I would appreciate admin being able to send me a message that appears in the program for a different user.

Opmerkingen: Benefits - quick ability to get Medicare rebates once relevant data entered- not as easy to enter less frequent options - such as DVA clients or overseas student insurance options for online rebates Good ability to do quarterly tax accounts/ records from the program Still using other online storage/ memory options for client records (other than session notes) as not a great way to upload quickly -such as with google drive from the printer scanner

Difficult to look up problems/ find information on the frequently asked questions - I've wasted a lot of time trying to find an answer to problems such as where to input Medicare/ Referrer/ Third party details- and have ended up having to call the customer support line due to bad info/ options etc It would be better to have an easy option to colour diary entries/ customise the colour of the client diary options from the drop down menu -to easily change/ add other colour options unique to our practice -

We have recently moved to a much better Knowledge Base system which includes in-app assistance - If you click on the Help menu you'll see articles related to the screen you are on, and there is a handy chat function there now too. Hopefully this makes it easier for you to find information. - Damien
Highly recommended
Opmerkingen: Allows me to keep excellent records that can be printed out at any time and can be accessed remotely by me. Easy to use and constantly being updated in positive ways - highly recommend

I have tried various practice management software packages and have found this the easiest to use . Common sense is all that is required for most procedures and I have seldom if every needed to contact support for assistance in the operation of the system. I am a one man practitioner so cannot comment on multi-user usage, but this is a wonderful way of organising a practice, reducing paper usage (all my notes, letters, client information) are kept on the system and I am very comfortable with the security provided for this.
Minpunten:
I don't really have any complaints. I do not use the remote access facility for clients but that is primarily because of not wanting certain clients to overlap rather than to any fault in the system.

It’s just practical... it takes care of Medicare and DVA, it manages my invoices and when ever I have a problem I can just call the support team.
Minpunten:
I work alongside my peers in the same building under the same brand but we keep our businesses separate. So I’d like it to talk to my colleagues in practice, but without sharing the finance component. That’s not easy to set up which is a pain.

One option if your businesses operate separately would be to split your combined account into separate accounts. We can help with this and can also set you up with a special login system which would enable each of you to access each other's accounts, but remain in control the level of access. Transformed business operations

It streamlines operational task like client forms, billing, appointment reminders and general correspondence. I can access it on most devices so it is readily available.
Minpunten:
Notes and email formatting could be improved to be more Word like. Also online scoring of outcome assessment would be handy. Also great if telehealth could be available to more than two attendees at different locations.

Currently, any online text editor that can be used for cloud-based software has limitations when compared to word processors like Word. We performed an extensive search for the most suitable text editor before we implemented the current version. Easy to use

Powerdiary is an easy interface to use, with all the basic functions required for calendar bookings and management software for health professionals. It allows for efficient booking and communication with clients.
Minpunten:
As a standalone software it works well. However the linking process with Xero has major room for improvement and is not linked with the governments My Health Record.

We are watching the My Health Record adoption and utilisation patterns closely . There have been issues with the uptake and utilisation rates of this which the government are working on. Once the outcomes of this are clearer we will be in a better position to evaluate what type of integration will best meet our users' needs. It'd be great to get your thoughts on this: [email protected]. In the interim My Health Records can still be accessed via the Provider Portal.
Functional & Improving
Opmerkingen: Power Diary saves us so much time and money. The SMS function is saving us so much time as we aren't getting caught on the phone to clients. Invoicing procedures are relatively easy. Anything that saves us time saves/makes us money.
Pluspunten:
Once you have become familiar with the software, it is very easy to use. The support from the help desk is incredible.
Minpunten:
It can take a long time to adjust to new changes, and some bits and pieces feel a bit clunky. For example the way that the communication templates have to be saved as a draft, to be exported. Or the way that we need to 'download' the receipt to be able to print it. It's just double handling.

Power Diary rocks
Opmerkingen: As a sole trader, Power Diary allows me to spend more time focussing on my clients whilst keeping up to date with appointments, record keeping, filing, bookkeeping and managing client relationships quickly and effectively throughout the day. As a business owner the reporting features allow me to access key data which helps me make astute business decisions.
Pluspunten:
The support. When I have a question, problem or challenge, help is always on hand as soon as I ask for it. The assistance provided is always relevant and effective, and on the rare occasions I want to do something that is not available that is quickly identified so no wasting time trying to do the impossible. All those things to date have been implemented in upgrades, so they really do listen!
Minpunten:
It can’t do the washing up, the laundry, the vacuuming and dusting, nor can it put out the rubbish. ;D
Power Diary makes our practice easier.

I used Power Diary at work and learned that it's really practical and useful. So I am using it now for my private practice too.

1. keeping records - so easy to follow up as all the records are there under each client's account. 2. easy to use - I do induction sessions for new starters about using Power Diary and find it really easy to use from the day 1. 3. support - easy access to support team and be able to suggest fore better features. Flexibility is something I really appreciate.
Minpunten:
Not much to mention. If I can ask, I wish I can change the name of fields to suit our practice.

Five Stars for Power Diary
Opmerkingen: I love Power Diary and use it everyday, it integrates well with my phone calender and has all the features I need to run my Reiki business. Even though the price is a little high for my one person business I'm so glad I made the investment right from the get go. I have confidence my client files are safe and record keeping is easy.
Pluspunten:
The ease of use, set up and integration with google calender and stripe. Australian owned and based with servers in Australia. This was the selling point for me when I started my business and I have at times struggled to keep paying the monthly fee.
Minpunten:
Would like it to be integrated with PayPal and better integration with google calender ie appointments I put into my phone don't show up in Power Diary. I'd love to see an app version for ease of use on the go.

That there isn't an option to recur the colours (rooms) for sessions unless setting up the session initially. Privacy options to see notes and files are not personalised - we want only some staff to see some documents

With privacy you can set permissions so that staff see no notes, only their own client notes, or all client notes. Excellent Product
Opmerkingen: Power Diary are always trying to improve their product in response to users needs. It has got better and better since I first started using it 4 years ago.

Easy to use. Very reliable and robust programme.
Minpunten:
There should be more instructional videos and text guidelines for all of the features of Power Diary as I know I'm not using all of the features that are available.

Opmerkingen: I have really liked it, it's been easy to use and updated reasonably regularly with good updates.
Pluspunten:
It's really easy and intuitive to use! Even for new people it's easy to explain and there are heaps of potential options for labels and flags so easy to tailor how you want!
Minpunten:
I think more could be done for confidentiality, there is a privacy mode (which hides everything) but similar programs allow for partially de-identified screens (e.g. just having initials, or first initial with a client code).

Excellent product

We use this to run our daily appointments and to invoice our clients. It is a superb facility and helps us keep on top of everything. We particularly like that it sends out appt reminders to clients and helps us control bookings
Minpunten:
Not really a con but more of a suggestion - it would be extremely useful if it was possible to create estimates through the system as well - sometimes we have to produce a quote before the job is accepted and it would be brilliant if this could be done in PD and later switched into an invoice to keep everything consistent.

Super!!! all round a very good online diary
Opmerkingen: I've had very few problems but when I do customer service is 10 out of 10 so efficient and friendly.. the one thing I'm not convinced with, and probably could be improved is the credit card payment platform system , Ive had issues with that
