The background checks are very quick and we know the status when it's really completed.

Minpunten:

I really don't have any issues while using the product. Only one issue I had is the references that I provided , the email was not sent to the reference for the first time.

Pluspunten:

Easily accessed on your mobile - can take employers seconds to complete a reference. Helpful and customizable notifications, easy to keep a track of pending checks.

Minpunten:

Zinc do not use the Work Number to verify employment, which means that it is not globally inclusive and works better for some countries than it does for others. We spend a lot of time at Snyk finding work arounds, directly with the employee. The employment verifications section need some work as is hard to set the criteria you want, as new joiners/employees can find ways around this. We wanted to set our references to either 3 past employers, or employment verification(s) that covered the last 7 years - whichever was met first. However this isn't possible, it can only be either or. Also if employees provide two references, for the same employer, this counts towards the 3 different employer references needed, and this is not right.

It is easy to use, good design, background check and identity very good.

Minpunten:

Background academy, when uploading the diploma does not read the dates well, this is a problem since the months of the diplomas in Spain do not appear.

No feature to edit references once sent. Had to delete and resubmit.

It was very easy to use and the customer service was great when I had a problem.

Minpunten:

Not much tbh. It was quite easy. Was a bit annoying when I made and error and I didn't find out till then end and the only way to solve it was to input all my address data again.

I didn't see any cons with this. It is really helpful.

It sent me notifications every few days which made it feel like an urgent task 🚨 the problem isn’t with the notification itself but the urgent messaging

Extremely easy and intuitive to set up and use, great customer support. Improves administration of onboarding and new joiner experience.

Minpunten:

Customisation of reference requests to give different questions dependent on the type of referee (and remove the four mandatory questions for some).

Pluspunten:

I used Zinc to complete checks for a new job offer. It was easy to navigate and use and fully comprehensible. It really does take the hassle from, what I could imagine in recruitment, sending numerous links to a variety of checks.
