The most simple and straight-forward file transfer service

Opmerkingen: I use WeTranfer on my day-to-day basis, and being a game developer I handle with lots of assets, builds, and large archives. WeTransfer has never failed me. It greatly improved my workflow being so intuitive and simple, sharing files with clients with a few clicks has never been so easy.

Pluspunten:

Seriously, it is a really simple and intuitive service. Just a few buttons focusing on what it's supposed to offer, and it delivers flawlessly. Even the ads they came up with an elegant solution that I've just realized until recently it were ads! Despite covering the whole screen, they use beautiful and artistic pictures and videos. Beyond that, there's no need to sign up, or leave any personal information, you just drop your files, hit "Transfer" and that's it. Of course, being able to do that have its limitations, like the 2GB file limit (which for the most people is not a real limitation) and some other specific features.

Minpunten:

The only negative aspect I had to talk about was the file limit per day, but they have removed that! Now you can transfer limitlessly (you still have that 2GB file limit though).

A secured file sharing platform without worring about scurity or bandwidth

Opmerkingen: I highly recommend WeTranser to anyone who wants to share files whitout worring of downloading speed or easily accessible to other person, it allows to add multiple emails upto 20 emails so all can downalod same files at same time.

Pluspunten:

It's integration with my work is pre say beacause i tried many soft ware apps before and sometimes they wouldn't send bigger files and wetranfer did just fine without any hiccups in the process, it saved me money didn't have to go an extra mile just to send a colleague 500mb file.

Minpunten:

Somtime a client would share a link and in the process I've to wait forever to get my files, sometimes i have to back to a client ask them to re-send the file that i believe should be a big concern. It's interface is good but not easy get around maybe that should be fixed to especially for new users, they allow ask me how to send file with we Wetranfer and that simply means ...an interface is still abit of a problem for other people. Make sure to have clear guidelines on how to go about the App.

Because it is so intuitive and simple, it has dramatically enhanced my workflow. Sharing files with clients with only a few clicks has never been easier.

Pluspunten:

It's a very straightforward and user-friendly service. It only takes a few presses to focus on what it's designed to do, and it does it flawlessly. Even with the advertisements, they came up with an elegant solution that I didn't notice was an ad until lately! They employ attractive and artistic graphics and movies despite occupying the entire screen. There's no need to provide any personal information; simply upload your files, tap "Transfer," and you're done. Of course, there are certain constraints, such as the 2GB file limit (which isn't a serious limitation for most people) and some other unique features.

Minpunten:

The only drawback I wanted to mention was the daily file limit, but that has now been lifted! You can now send an unlimited amount of data (you still have that 2GB file limit though)

WeTransfer is still king of the hill

For some time now, WeTransfer has allowed users to send files without having an account, or even giving out your email address. It's hidden a bit, but you can still do it. You don't get notification when the recipient downloads what you sent, but the possibility of sending files without compromising privacy is extremely appealing, and one of the main reasons I choose WeTransfer. It's also used everywhere, so everyone knows what to do when they get a link.

The biggest gripe I have with WeTransfer is the 2GB limit. There is a plethora of competitors who offer up to 20GB in file transfers. For most uses that isn't a problem, but if you're trying to send videos (which as a person in entertainment, I tend to do a lot), it can be extremely limiting.

The only constructive feedback I'd give for this software is giving the users the ability to upload folders for transfer instead of individual files and transfers to be smoother when running in the background. However, I've found very easy and practical solutions for both of these items. For multiple file upload, I simply group my desired files into a ".Zip" file and WeTransfer is able to work with those extremely well! As for the background downloads, sometimes i've ran into my transfers getting paused or stuck when my computer goes to sleep, so I simply leave music playing from my computer as this will keep my computer on, and I use transfer time as a great space for a break to walk away and refresh! :)

Best software i have use for transferring files and document

Opmerkingen: I really like that it is free to use this software and all the feature that are offered by this application is not shabby at all. They provide a premium feature and tolls with no cost at all. As a result, sending and receiving files and documents from my team mates is never a problem anymore.

Pluspunten:

WeTranfer is the simplest application than has help me transferring files, document or media like video and picture to other people. I do not need to create any account with them to start using this service, neither the recipient. They can start downloading the files that i has sent from the link i gave as soon as they get it.

Minpunten:

The only cons that i dislike with this application is, the files that i am uploading has its expired date and only will be keep on the server no more than 7 days. If the downloading or uploading process is interrupted, there are no resume option and i need to start everything from the start which is very inconvenience.

WeTransfer's developers have evidently given much effort to how to deliver a stripped-down UI with only the most essential features and no-frills. It's fantastic. I use the paid plan with a login so that I wouldn't have to prove my identity every time, and it's effortless. I receive a log of when clients downloaded things, and it fulfills all of my requirements.

Minpunten:

WeTransfer used to be capable of transmitting to more than three emails at once, but that is no longer possible and i had to do it in multiple batch for it. It's a tad inconvenient, but given the service offered, it's still a fantastic option and the cheapest option for transferring a large files over the cloud storage.

Good for everyone

I just upload here, copy-paste the code and that's it.
Also VERY IMPORTANT, the receiving party doesn't need to install any software or login anywhere. Just click, download and done.

The part I don't like is that I cannot add folders with files inside them. I need to add in the files only or create an archive to include the entire structure I desire. Would've been great if the software would allow you to add in folders directly since at download it creates an archive anyway of all the elements that are sent

One thing I love about transfering files through WeTransfer is its incredible simplicity and ease of use. It is fast, simple, and secure. It's also free if you only plan to send files up to 2GB! Their Pro and Premium options allow you to send files of any size, which is a great perk if needed. You want to share a file with a colleague but it is too big for your email? No problem. Just open up https://wetransfer.com/ and upload your file, add your email and the email of your colleague and hit send! There is also the added feature that you can include a note of substantial length along with your file. After you have sent your file, WeTransfer immediately sends you an email letting you know that your file was sent successfully. Your colleague also receives an email from WeTransfer immediately letting them know you sent them a file. You are then notified when your colleague downloads your file, which is quite useful.

Paid WeTransfer account gives up to 200GB per file to upload and 1TB storage per team member. WeTransfer servers offer very fast speed of data upload/download, has many useful features like password protected transfers, tracking downloads, editing the transfers, limiting the transfer lifetime, etc. Even the free version of WeTransfer with 2GB limit is valuable solution to share files (it's not required to register in free version).

Minpunten:

There is not a lot of negative facts to say about WeTransfer. Maybe one of the main problem is high price of WeTransfer Pro version. Also it would be great if Free version offers higher file size limit (3-4GB is not a lot nowadays) with limited lifetime.

Opmerkingen: It is the best solution and I recommend it to all my clients. It is easy to use, friendly and secure and does exactly what you want it to do. The free version is sufficient for everything. I enjoy receiving files by WeTransfer also -it is quick and easy.

I recommend this to every client - it is easy to use, and does not require an account. It tracks when the files were downloaded. You don't have to continually "clean it out" and try to manage storage on your own computer or on the server. It doesn't install anything on your computer. I enjoy the little "tidbits" whenever you go to the website. It is so good, I feel guilty not buying the pro version!

I would like the little window to be a bit bigger - it can sometimes be difficult to see a longer message. But it does keep your message concise, which is probably a good thing.

-We transfer offers the possibility to share multiple files from one site via email. -You can use a free version of the system which allows you to upload up to 2gb of files. -You and the ones you send the files don't even need to register (up to 3 emails for sending the files) for using it. If you send files, you just need to write both your email and the one who is getting it. Then, the other person will receive a download link, and they just need to click on it. - In the Pro version, you can make an upload and sharing for up to 200gb. - Uploading heavy files doesn't take much time. No more than minutes most of the times.

Minpunten:

- Once you upload your files and share the download link to your partners, friends, etc. , you have only 7 days for downloading that content due to the link expiring date (which can be solved if you pay for the "Pro" upgrade) . - If you decide to pay for the "Pro" version of WeTransfer, there is no option to integrate multiple users into the plan. So every user account must pay for its own "Pro" version. Different to some other cloud storage and sharing services in which you can have multiple users in one plan or account. - When you click the download button for getting every file you've been sent in one, you get a ZIP file. So you need to have a ZIP decompressor installed on your device, and if you don't, it might take a little extra time while you get one so you can have your files (this might be trouble for beginners, or newcomers).

WeTransfer made sending really big files a breeze. You just open your browser, navigate to WeTransfer, enter details to which email this file should go and you upload a file. It's really that easy! You don't even need to have a WeTransfer account. But in this case, you aren't allowed to send that big files but it would still be great for sending larger files if your email is rejecting attachments larger than 25 MB as mine is. What I especially like about WeTransfer is that every time I visit WeTransfer I notice there is a different background and sometimes there is even some nice story about background picture. The website features a really unique design and I like it. Also what I like is that I can protect links with a password so only people who know the password can access it, even if the link leaks somehow. Another nice feature is that links can have an expiry date. For example, shared links can expire after 2 weeks

Minpunten:

I don't like that files send through WeTransfer are delivered via the WeTransfer email address. I would like that email appears to be sent from my email address. I don't know if there are some limitations and how exactly does email protocols work but I am sure that is possible. Maybe is just a little more complicated for that to be set up and WeTransfer's main goal is to be as simple as possible and I can totally understand that.

An state of the art and powerful way to share big files

WeTransfer made it impossibly easy and efficient to Transfer files. They focus and they excel, they don't really host your files, they transfer them. Your files, if on the free plan, have a 7-day lifespan. The receiver gets a link and you get to know when they downloaded it, simple and great. The interface is usable for no tech-savvy users (this is where many Cloud services fail because your client will need an account on the service, install a client, etc). In fact, neither you or your client need an account to transfer your files, you just need a link generated by the platform. The downloading and uploading speed is incredible, even in places with poorer connections. Gone are the days of USB sticks, trash on your Cloud accounts, emails or the client saying "I didn't get it" when they did. I often share heavy files like RAW files and .psd projects and this tool has proved wonders. Like a professional mediator between you and your client. "Here is his work, please download it". This company has also a great eye on design, proved by their beautiful backgrounds, super simple interface and now on the great stories featured on WePresent.

The mobile app can be buggy if you are dealing with a big file. This is not a problem but can happen, in a remote scenario, that you delete the mail with the link and your client does the same then the link is forever lost. It could be great to retrieve a log of the active links under my mail, for example, I could send an email to WeTransfer with a subject of "Log" and I will be replied with my current links (I understand the security issues involved). Many people seem to be a concern on how the company handles the privacy and security of the files shared, in the case of sharing highly-confidential files I would think it twice.

Perfect file sharing software

Opmerkingen: We transfer is extremely easy to access and has solved a lot of the problems that would arise regarding file sharing.
It's got a reasonable limit on transfers and I use it on a daily basis sometimes more than 10 times in the day. Being able to have a link that can be easily circulated is a huge positive of this software.
I would recommend this software to any one who has to share files regularly because the pros outweigh the cons in a significant way

It's perfect for the use i have. In my company we don't have a internal server, hence file sharing is difficult. We rely mostly on emails but that limits data sharing to 25 MD. Which when it comes to design is not much while transferring heavy software files. We transfer allows us to transfer these files, to each other and printers easily. It's also convenient to be able to transfer folders instead of individual files. Additionally 2GB is a good limit for data. And it can be used multiple times during the day. Love the way they feature artists and lists on their page so, you're occupied while you're waiting for your files to transfer.

Files only remain for 7 days. Some important files have to be resent again. It takes very long at times to transfer files. Inspite of the internet speed.
