Mooi product maar met enkele onhebbelijkheden

Opmerkingen: Best goed maar ik durf me er nog niet aan over te geven. De wachtwoordsuggesties zijn prachtig maar als ik een probleem heb met 1P, dan kom ik er niet meer in...

Pluspunten:

1Password is een van de weinig password managers die op meerdere platforms draait: Mac OS, iOs, Windows. Dat was voor mij een absolute eis.

Minpunten:

Bij elke keer dat ik ergens inlog, wil 1Password mijn wachtwoord opnieuw opslaan, ook als het niet is gewijzigd. Dat gebeurt nog voordat de betreffende site heeft vastgesteld of het ingetikte wachtwoord goed is of niet. Het kan toch niet moeilijk zijn om dat af te vangen. Ik ben nu steeds bang dat ik een fout wachtwoord intik, daarmee het opgeslagen wachtwoord in 1Password overschrijf en vervolgens niet meer kan inloggen. Ook mijn browser onthoudt wachtwoorden en het is niet altijd duidelijk waar de prompt vandaan komt. Als je een uur geleden je 1P wachtwoord hebt ingetoetst, komt de prompt haast zeker niet uit 1P maar uit de browser. Ook dat zou oplosbaar moeten zijn.

Invaluable for Teams

Pluspunten:

The user interface is extremely intuitive. Plus, the whole system just works smoothly (sharing passwords with groups of people who all have access; creating 2FA codes; creating & sharing passkeys; security).

Minpunten:

The app is so secure that it can be a little confusing how to set up a new device, but 1Password makes it so simple with their "Emergency Kit" and step-by-step instructions that it's really not an issue.

Best Independent Password Manager

Opmerkingen: Excellent company. Fully engaged leadership. They understand their customers and their role. I love the fact this thing works and I love that 1Password is helping me stay current with both operational user security issues as well as new trends. I am betting a lot on any password or security management company - I have confidence in this team. They are good. They get that their daily job is that this has to work and be secure daily - everything else is frosting on the cake.

Pluspunten:

High level of integrity and security Ease of Use Group Functionality

Minpunten:

I don't have any dislikes about the product. I use it multiple times a day and it works. Working is everything. Added feature bloat is a distraction not present in 1Password.

Forget all your passwords except 1password!

Opmerkingen: My overall experience is great. I do not have to remember all my passwords- I do not even know them! Is there a service that I decided to use 1 time few years ago? Yes! Do I remember the password? No! But 1password does!.

Pluspunten:

Easy to use, very intuitive, high transparency, security.

Minpunten:

If I have to pick anything it will be something very minor... It does not work perfectly on android. App is not proposing login option easily you have to retry few times or copy-paste it from the app itself.

1Password - A professional working experience that allows you to make your password more secure

Opmerkingen: I have been using this recently, mostly all our work is on web applications, hence tracing people who try tk access the portal is a must, here we cater to our needs using 1Password. We use its reporting feature for further analysis and ways to protect the platform further

Pluspunten:

I like the customised reports, spontaneous threat detection, timely alerts to change password, realtime monitoring of web traffic

Minpunten:

On my mac, sometimes it fails to detect potential threats, may be some process communication failure

Sincerely for my use the only cons is the price of subscription

Suitable Replacement for LastPass

Opmerkingen: I have adapted well to 1Password, and I believe that anyone who uses LastPass can easily train themselves to use 1Password.

Pluspunten:

It has a familiar and easy to understand user interface. It performs as designed most of the time, and working around the automated functionality when it doesn't work is easy because anything can be confidentially copied out of 1Password and into the clipboard to paste wherever you need it. My impression is that 90% of the time 1Password works as intended, and the rest of the time I can work around with copy and paste.

Minpunten:

When importing from LastPass, it did not bring in attached items. It would be great if that import function could be fixed, although I don't need it now, I suppose.

The best in class for Password Management

Opmerkingen: Nothing but positive, its a wonderful product, easy to use, supports 2FA and Passkeys and is easy to train staff on.

Pluspunten:

After trying a number of different password managers, such as LastPass, BitWarden and Keeper we settled on 1Password due to its UI, ease of use, feature set and pricing.

Minpunten:

The fact they don't have a MSP program just yet is disappointing, but as I write this they have just announced that it is coming.

Opmerkingen: Overall, 1Password has been an incredibly effective and reliable solution for my needs. I highly recommend this product to anyone in need of a robust password management tool.

Pluspunten:

Make password management easy. Although never the most 'exciting' product, a solid password manager will save you time, keep you secure, and save you stress. 1Password does all of that, very well. Passwords are super secure, and be tweaked per-website so you can maximise the strength without exceeding limits per website. Also has fantastic sharing capabilities.

Minpunten:

Can you put a price on digital security? Not really. However, 1Password is one of the more expensive apps, compared to competitors.

Opmerkingen: Up until about a year ago, I would have given it 5 stars. Not that i see the bullsht that the big boys are using against with 1password, it is at a 3.75. Going to be difficult for them to win so they need to start rolling out updates on a quarterly (i know it's insane) frequency. You don't need an update every week for features that no one asked for

Pluspunten:

It has everything in one spot. You literally will not surf the net and will use 1password. The two factor authentication will save you an insane amount of time. Password management is password management. It will generate the password for you in 2 easy steps. Passkeys are awesome when it works. I still don't know where it is being stored. Customer service is tops b/c they get back to you in a hurry.

Minpunten:

Apple Keychain, Google Password Manager and Microsoft Authenticator are all out to kill 1Password and they are doing a pretty good job. To be honest they have made it so difficult where I am seriously considering dropping 1password. The amount of updates coming thru on 1password are killing the application. They are of the mind of weekly update. That has screwed up so many settings for me and it this is a recent trend.

Multi-platform password and identity management.

Opmerkingen: Overall it's a great tool, it works well and I used it daily. When I first starting using it there wasn't much competition in the way of password managers but now there are a plethora of them, and several other software suites I have provide their own (ESET smart security, Avast and NordVPN) but I have been lazy and paid the annual subscription cost in preference over moving over 1,000 credentials to a new password manager.

Pluspunten:

I've been a very long-time user of 1password. My initial use case was to allow maintaining unique passwords for every website and service I use, while keeping my user details synchronized across multiple browsers and operating systems. For instance, on my laptop I use Windows Edge & Chrome, on my iPhone and iPad I use Safari and Firefox and I have previously used MacOS and ChromeOS which have also used 1password. The best features are the automatic "recognition" of when you visit a website that you have an account with, your are prompted to automatically complete your username and password. It also recognizes when you visit a new website and create a new account, automatically creating a record for that site. It's data is synchronized across all platforms, so if you register an account on your Windows PC, it will automatically be available when you visit the same website on your mobile phone or tablet. Passwords can be used between personal users (family) or work users (teams) to securely store and retrieve authentication details.

Minpunten:

Originally, 1password required a 3rd party to synchronize password data across platforms, but they introduced their cloud SaaS offering to address this. They also took this opportunity to move from a perpetual license to an annual subscription model. In the last few years, 1password has steadily added features but in my opinion have been slow to address some gaps, such as automation of credentials over SSH (a feature that is only now experimental).

Good tool for managing your passwords, but not my go-to option anymore

I loved the encryption and password generation features

Minpunten:

If you lose your password, it's near impossible to recover it. I was unable to do so despite many attempts and ultimately stopped using it, and switched to Google's free offering.

1Password - 1 Solution for all your Passwords!

Opmerkingen: I think it's one of the best if not the best option - I've tried a few other ones and 1P is at the top

Pluspunten:

Works flawlessly across Macs, PCs, iPHones, tablets, and for multiple family members; you can share passwords if you'd like using shared vaults, or keep them private

Minpunten:

nothing really - it just works and has not disappointed once!

Security First

Opmerkingen: The most significant value, in my opinion, is the compatibility across all devices.

Pluspunten:

It's secure, worth the price, and easy to use.

Minpunten:

It requires my typed-out password every two weeks (not facial or touch ID), but it shows great security practices.

1password ease of use

Pluspunten:

Secure Storage: 1Password securely stores not only passwords but also other sensitive information like credit card details, secure notes, and more. This requires multistep identification. Its also helpful for password sharing among small teams

Minpunten:

Some users might find the subscription cost for 1Password to be relatively high compared to other password managers or free alternatives. While the cost often reflects the robust features and security offered by 1Password, it might be a consideration for budget-conscious users.

This simplifies life in a world where everything needs a password

Opmerkingen: This has been a gamechanger. I feel much more secure in knowing that each sign in has a unique and complex password, not just a variation of the same password I used to use.

Pluspunten:

I love a single sign in and that 1Password will autofill and generate passwords for me.

Minpunten:

I do not like that it won't easily sync with other password management programs that are installed on my computer.

World's best password manager in my opinion

Pluspunten:

1Password has for so many years stood by me in terms of security, from storing my sensitive documents, generate strong unique passwords and it also does marvelously well in syncing across all my devices.

Minpunten:

I have no complains at all, it's been amazing using it.

Simply the most robust & secure Password Manager

Decent Easy to Use Password Encryption App

Pluspunten:

- Easy to use - Decent password generator - Vulnerability flags - Can auto insert passwords into fields without copy/pasting and logging in

Minpunten:

- Wish there were more tiers for payment options - I wasn't able to easily sync multiple 1Password accounts into my app (i.e. 1 for personal and 1 for work) -- maybe create a toggle feature?

An outstanding tool for password Management

I love it's auto fill feature so much because it makes it easy for me to use websites and securely provide my details, it's user interface is also great and its security is top notch.

Minpunten:

I have never experienced any issues while using 1Password since over a year ago when i started using it.

The Greatest of All TIme.

Opmerkingen: My overall experience is the best and i plan on keeping this app, i havent had anything like hack wise tried to happen.I have even invited my boss to use this great site.

Pluspunten:

What is there bad to say about 1Password, i have had this app for about 8 months maybe less, but however it is the best i like that i can save my passwords and it automatically remembers it for me.

Minpunten:

There wasnt anything bad that i didnt like about it so far. you had to do the password sync and thats it.

Great password manager

Opmerkingen: Safety across the company when it comes to access and accounts. Makes it easier to create good passwords and to store them.

Pluspunten:

Easy to use, able to store all my passwords and not need to type or even know them. Chrome extension makes it easy to generate and automatically store new passwords

Minpunten:

For the past few weeks I did have a few bugs with the chrome extension and even when I re-launched it and even closed chrome all together it still didn't work. It was solved a few days later but was still not the best experience.
