A Surprise Underdog Comes Through

Opmerkingen: I believe we made a great decision by choosing Blink and I would recommend them to any other company looking to up their communication game.

Pluspunten:

In searching for a new communication platform, I thought I knew what I was looking for and which company I would go with. Blink was added as just another platform for comparison. However, during my first demo, I was convinced this was the right choice. It ticked off all the boxes: top down communication, bottom up communication, side to side communication, individual and group chats, an information repository, and one of the best price points of (in my opinion) even inferior platforms. Plus, they were up front about all costs, so I didn't have to worry about a surprise invoice I would have to explain.

Minpunten:

There are a few small functionality issues I have had since getting into the platform (such as not having control over what shows up under an employee name or what is displayed in the Directory), but I have been assured the team is adding my suggestions to their list and looking into how we can work around the other issues.

Perfect solution for remote workforce

Opmerkingen: Using Blink has revolutionised how we have both communicated with our staff and more crucially how they communicate with us. We have been able to get a consistent message out, instantly, which is something we've never achieved before. However being able to receive feedback from all members of staff has brought a new dimension to our staff relationships

Pluspunten:

The simplicity of the software is amazing. The roll out process to frontline staff takes less than a minute as it is so obvious and intuitive. The speed that it performs without fail is amazing and the constant improvements to functionality are great

Minpunten:

Not sure I can put anything here - every snag we've come up the Blink team have worked around and found solutions.

Fine for communications, lacking in other features

Opmerkingen: More casual internal communications and email but very primitive. Newsfeed is good but difficult to search so only really works for real-time updates. Lack of ability to share files properly limos use severely and the ‘hub’ feature is too basic as it does not allow the creation of pages to view only upload of docs. The admin and access level features are not rounded enough, it’s all or nothing!

Pluspunten:

Simple IM app and the newsfeed like appearance of the home page. Some limited integrations, calendar works well.

Minpunten:

Lacking in support for 3rd party apps, no ability to view documents in the app only have attachments.

Blink : An easy collaborative tool to share information inside the teams !

Opmerkingen: This tool is very useful, and I'm using it every day - even every minute - to share information with my team, or other people of my company. The global feed and the "history" allow also to don't miss information.

Pluspunten:

The product is easy to use. The possibility to create group is very interesting, as group can be done with the right persons to talk a specific subject. The global feed allows to share general information about the company.

Minpunten:

The copy / paste option is working only in the blink feed. No possibility to copy directly to a Google Mail by example.

Excellent! Zero Complaints!

Opmerkingen: Just prior to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions put in place, our company anticipated needing a way to communicate internally with our staff and contractors about rapid changes to our workplace and daily lives. Most of our staff are front-line workers and do not have company email accounts. Our internal scheduling app that we use for hourly staff did not have the ability to upload attachments or allow staff to respond to high alert notifications. Setup was quick and easy. We were able to test Blink for free prior to committing to it, but knew immediately that it was perfect for our needs. Now, several months into the COVID-19 crisis, we've seen a shift from senior staff using the app solely for important internal communications, to all staff using it for staff recognition, company highlights, events, contests, motivational and uplifting posts, etc. It helps keeps our employees engaged and informed, allowing everyone to have a voice, and it seems to help boost employee morale.

Pluspunten:

- Ability to share and communicate with all employees or with individual teams - Quick and helpful responses from Blink staff/developers -- willingness to go above and beyond to meet our company's needs - Allows for multiple administrators at different levels - Ease of use - Ability to communicate privately -- staff can even contact our CEO and get a real-time response - Real-time chat - Search feature - Ability to use on smartphone and PC

Minpunten:

When we first started using Blink, posts were limited to one attachment each, which has since been updated. Blink has evolved quickly and quite honestly we have zero complaints.

Great Collaborative tool

Opmerkingen: i enjoy using Blink, this is a great tool and has come into its own through the recent Pandemic for sharing information etc with each other and reporting on a live and ever changing daily position.

Pluspunten:

the home feed page for seeing and sharing what is going on in and around the business.

Minpunten:

The initial phase I struggled to search for specific items referred to, and sharing that with others in the business.

A great Intranet for the whole company

Opmerkingen: This keeps ALLLL of our employees together in one place with all the updates in our company. Where we can share and chat with each other. It also is great to have all of our documents needed to HR and safety if someone needs to fill out a report or find info. This is all especially helpful during and after COVID and working remote.

Pluspunten:

The ability to communicate to my whole team quickly as well as the mobile app so I get notifications when I am not around my computer or need to check something.

Minpunten:

I don't like that you have to name each chat "group". It should be an option but not mandatory. Just causes one more step when reaching out to a team member quickly.

Alternative Intranet

Opmerkingen: We're still playing around with the features but so far after less than a month we are happy with what we are working with.

Pluspunten:

- free for up to 20 users - great alternative to a company intranet / communication portal for the micro businesses who want to share their management system documentation with field staff and don't want to fork out expensive licences with Microsoft for similar products like yammer / SharePoint. - if you are IT savvy and know how to build microapps feature will draw your attention. - Can download on android and iOS devices - Has a desktop app for windows and iOS devices

Minpunten:

- you have to purchase the premier package at a monthly cost per user to do branding. It would be good if there was a fixed fee per month for up to 10 users for the small companies e.g. £20 plus VAT.

Blink is really awesome!

Pluspunten:

Blink provides me with an excellent way of communicating with colleagues and getting company updates out to the wider business. I find it better than email as it has a more natural flow and much more efficient as you can create multiple relevant chats and groups for all your requirements. Notifications are great and it intergrates with all my other apps.

Minpunten:

I'm looking forward to the getting an update to enable messages to be sent after being offline, this would enable Me to use offline and keep up to date with chats.

Easy to use. Very clever bots and integrations

Opmerkingen: It puts everything in one place and is very easy to use.

Pluspunten:

The Feed works great. It pulls everything you need into one space. The messaging side of Blink works very well. Instant messaging, teams, spaces - very easy to use.

Minpunten:

Offline working would be nice, but these days everyone is online for the majority of their workday, so just a minor nice to have.

Pluspunten:

New feature around recognition is great, and stops people using Whats App. Can put out regular comms and stops us having to communicate everything by email. We can use the hub to store all of our policies on there and information and newsletters. It also is a central hub, so we put links for our other software that we use such as recruitment or our HR systems

Minpunten:

The news feed could really do we a better focus and filter on categories. So you can select one or more categories so you don't see everything. Having priority posting can get out of control. Would like it to be able to reduce reports on usage better to show how many posts people have done or have many likes people have done. Helps the business to understand the engagement, so more stats on this the better

Mostly used for the chat

Pluspunten:

The chat is our most used feature by far.

Minpunten:

With most colleagues working remotely, Blink is our most critical comms software. Not being able to see who is online/available, busy, or away on leave is very frustrating (and seems like an easy addition).

Good Communication Tool

Opmerkingen: Generally a good, easy to use app that allows good interaction with colleagues as well as getting news and updates out quickly.

Pluspunten:

Blink is a good way of getting information out to colleagues across different areas of the business.

Minpunten:

Would be nice to be able to post in different styles of font. Bold/italic etc. Sometimes users have issues opening attachments.

Good as an internal social media feed

Opmerkingen: Love the tool and the team behind it!

Pluspunten:

Great way to send company-wide info on an easy-to-use easy-to-access platform - simple and fast

Minpunten:

Although it has continued to improve add-on wise, ease-of-use desktop vs mobile as well as accessibility feature upgrades, Blink would benefit from more collaborative work tool integration such as video-recording features, creative workspace options/wikis like canva, to enable more team dynamics.

Amazing Internal Communication App

Opmerkingen: To use it as an intranet works incredibly well and its very easy to navigate. Its also great using it for our policy library.

Pluspunten:

The Hub and the communal feed are incredibly useful as 115 of our services are able to share their stories and learning with the rest of the organisation and corporate are able to communicate with them across a range of matter.

Minpunten:

Alerts for overdue documents would be very beneficial

Useful App and Resource for Corporate Communications

Opmerkingen: My overall experience so far, has been positive.

Pluspunten:

I like the Hub and quick/direct links to our firm platform portals. Blink is also been a great tool to use and publish timely announcement and feature articles. I like being able to post as either myself or part of the Communications Team and the ability to view post analytics. It would be interesting and perhaps useful to connect/align Blink posts with Slack and/or Microsoft Teams since the majority of our employees also use those tools to communicate and collaborate with each other.

Minpunten:

I am not sure if many others within my organization use the Chats feature since there are already so many other tools and applications that provide that functionality for us.

Blink- The way forward for all employers

Opmerkingen: Our company experience has been positive, the product is easy to use and has started to provide us with some of the key results we have been looking for.

Pluspunten:

The ability to easily communicate with all members of the team right across the business.

Minpunten:

Forms and form development could be improved.

Excellent software

Opmerkingen: Live News and posts from all the depots in one place :)

Pluspunten:

We have 25 depots around the UK. There was a time when we didn't know what was happening in the other depots but now all employees from other depots post their comments, feedback and other things on Blink so now we don't miss anything :)

Minpunten:

There is nothing to dislike about Blink :)

Great tool for internal comms

Opmerkingen: Blink has been an excellent way of improving our employee communications, it's got people talking more and it's made it much easier for us to provide regular updates and distribute important information to staff. It's been an overall positive experience and I've been so impressed I've already recommended it to colleagues in other businesses.

Pluspunten:

Ease of use; format is appealing to employees, so it encourages uptake; ability to store useful documents, forms etc in the Hub so that employees can easily access them.

Minpunten:

It took a while to set up and import all contacts - but the process wasn't that difficult and there was a lot of help at hand from Blink to guide us through it.

Blink Review

Opmerkingen: Love how easy and intuitive the system is. Very easy to post to different groups of people when we have so many different teams. The system is perfect for both important employee update posts and also more informal update posts!

Pluspunten:

Extremely intuitive software and makes it incredible easy to update employees instantaneously! (Especially when you have so many!)

Minpunten:

Nothing of note - I know that some employees have had problems with sending posts to specific teams but I think admins need to update their access as opposed to it being a system fault

Our Company's Bulletin Board

Opmerkingen: Our company has been using Blink for company announcements, holiday celebrations, employee recognition, and so much more. It's like a bulletin board right on my laptop!

Pluspunten:

Blink has a very easy-to-use interface and our company has included important links for the users.

Minpunten:

Unfortunately, I don't use Blink enough to have a say on what can be improved. I just read it to catch up on company information.

Excellent way to feel involved when working remotely!

Opmerkingen: Overall, I have had a pleasurable experience using Blink and it's definitely something more companies should look into especially if they have a large population of remote workers.

Pluspunten:

I love how it's feed-based and gives a sense of community when working remotely full-time. I joined my company in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and it has been a great way to meet other coworkers and engage - everything from discussing holiday plans at home to finding internal webinars to attend.

Minpunten:

At first, it was a little tricky to find how to post information or how to find groups; the more you use Blink the easier it becomes.

BLINK AND YOU'VE MISSED IT.

Opmerkingen: I've never had a problem with it, generally speaking it's enhanced my working experience.

Pluspunten:

It's not just just a Facebook type, it's so much more work related with tools that directly relate to my job.

Minpunten:

It's viewed by everyone, including senior management and it's always there even during your time off.
