The product is amazing but the customer support that is offered for the initial setup is superb!

Pluspunten:

I love the ease of use between any device from an iPad, iPhone, MacBook, Desktop its all effortless!

Minpunten:

Setting up the security settings at first is a bit much, however you have much ability to limit what each member of your team has access to. Once you get passed the first step it is awesome!

So nice I had to use twice!

Pluspunten:

Honestly there is nothing that I don't love about Meevo! I used it at a previous facility I managed and it was a no brainer to bring in when we were looking for a new platform to use at my latest job.

Minpunten:

That somehow clients often get confused when doing online booking and book multiple services for themselves when trying to book for a group. Then because we require a deposit for online booking it can be a challenge getting that deposit to apply to the correct appointment once the servicing guest has been corrected.

Very easy to use. Loved the color coordinating. Also reports were never wrongs

We used meevo before the new update. Not sure what it’s like now, but a lot of our clients were not getting appointment reminders.

Meevo is an outstanding single or multi-location salon management tool

Opmerkingen: We've been with Meevo since January 2020 and it's predecessor, Millennium, since 2010 to run our multiple locations. Meevo makes it easy to transfer and redeem gift cards and packages across multiple salon locations and allows clients to be viewed and managed globally while maintaining appropriate flexibility at each location. We enjoy the enterprise level inventory and service management features and consolidated reporting. We can't imagine running our multiple locations without Meevo!

Pluspunten:

Meevo is powerful and easy to use. The interface is fast, intuitive, and works brilliantly on handhelds, tablets, and desktop. Reports and analytics are strong so we can keep tabs on our KPIs. Client settings are granular so which notifications clients receive via email and texting can be customized. The payroll and inventory modules are well developed and give us great flexibility in our employee compensation settings and Meevo even has custom reports to help California employers comply with labor laws unique to that state. Support is U.S. based and outstanding. Meevo really listens to their customers and rolls out updates on a very regular basis. While the software is already great, it gets even more powerful every couple of months. In fact some of the cons in my review below will probably be addressed within the next year. Security in Meevo is extremely granular, which we appreciate so staff members can be configured to only have access to areas of the system appropriate to their role. There are settings to completely hide menus and areas of the system that certain users don't need to see so their interface isn't cluttered with buttons they wouldn't be allowed to use. Meevo also supports a different (typically stricter) set of access limitations when staff are outside of the company's network. Lastly, Meevo makes it easy to multi-task with tabs for multiple parts of the system open at the same time and easy to move between. Meevo has built in a large number of keyboard shortcuts and has a "ConvoBar®" that allows users to type commands to quickly open specific screens or reports. We're starting to see the adoption of AI within recent Meevo updates and I'm sure this area of the system will become substantial over the coming few years.

Minpunten:

Editing transactions in the past is extremely limited, which protects naive owners from breaking accounting rules, but prevents sophisticated owners from fixing mistakes in the past and instead having to create new transactions to reverse out the prior mistakes. I wish there was a super user setting that allowed more flexibility. We also find the double opt-in requirement for clients to receive transactional text messages to be far more strict than any other similar software we've seen. The Quickbooks integration does not handle multiple business locations syncing into a single Quickbooks file, which is limiting for multi-location businesses with a single set of integrated books. Great reports make it easy to settle the books via consolidated journal entries, but I look forward to true multi-location syncing with Quickbooks.

Best software for our Salon and Spas!

Opmerkingen: I am very happy with the Meevo software and customer support we receive. The training is easy and convenient, which helps to get new hires using it quickly!

Pluspunten:

How easy it is to use the software. I like being able to customize things. But mostly the customer service is outstanding!

Minpunten:

I honestly cant think of anything! The only I dont like, is when my receptionists dont use the corect client name and make a new one! But it is easy to fix, by using intelli merge or manual merge of duplicate clients.

Multi-Location User

Pluspunten:

Meevo offers a lot of great benefits for multi-locations. It is easy to navigate between locations. Central Office is great to see individual numbers or combined data.

Minpunten:

I wish some of the reports were customizable to get specific data we need. Would also be nice to see staff rewards/incentive platform. Something we can setup to acknowledge when then hit goals. Would also be nice if it interacted more with Aveda for automatic price increases.

The layout could be better to make the other features seamless. We have to do a lot of clicking and this could be more functional. There isn't a way to categorize on the screen.

user friendly and well rounded software

Opmerkingen: I have worked with millennium/ meevo for over 20 years now. meevo is great and well constructed above many other salon/spa softwares out there.

Pluspunten:

the reporting is great to really see what's happening daily in company. smart centers are great for coaching and goal setting. meevo is always open to make changes and add new functions for the changes in industry.

Minpunten:

some reports are too broad and not always detailed enough but there have been some new changes that are nice. once a new idea is implemented it takes so long for it to go live.

Meevo is worth it

I love how my stylists get notifications when a client checks in. I like that there are many integrations that can be added. The customer service is great!

Minpunten:

The transition to integrate Tippy and Meevo Pay were a little rocky.

Enterprise software on the LOW

Opmerkingen: I loved it, I’d totally affiliate. I think you have a good product.

It comes with YEXT listing. The SEO features were pretty nice aswell.

For non technical people it doesn’t have the best UI.

Love for Meevo!

Opmerkingen: Overall I love Meevo. It takes a while to learn all of the features but once you start catching on you realize that these features help run the business day to day.

Opmerkingen: I have gotten more from it than I expected. The email marketing suite, support and ease of use.

Pluspunten:

The process of learning/ teaching new staff to use Meevo is exceptionally easy. The ability to quickly watch a video or read step by step walk through directions on how to do anything is #1 to me. The facebook support group is more than I imagined it could be. So much support from peers and support staff.

Minpunten:

How the add on services show on the books, especially if an add on is to be done in a different room than the original service, it doesn't physically show on the books that the second room is busy.

Meevo...Salon management with ease

Opmerkingen: We started with Millineum which was not web based, and that system was very good, but once they converted to a web based system, that blew it out of the park! Technicians can see their schedule while not in the salon, get notified of new appts or cancellation as they work, and the options are endless! Payroll, commission, formulas, notes, credit card processing are al so important in this industry.

Pluspunten:

There is nothing Meevo doesn't do. If an issue arises, their team is on it and accommodates the client.

Minpunten:

if the internet is down (rarely) we go down

Best Software for Spa

Opmerkingen: Excellent product and we couldn't function as smoothly and organized without it.

Pluspunten:

We love Meevo because of the ease of use. I feel like the company is consistently finding new ways to make what is already a great software to use better. The ease of use for everyone from management to our employees makes it a really great product over all other softwares for our spa. There is so much within Meevo that you can do that it could be overwhelming for a new user, but with patience and time, a new user will find that it is a really beneficial software to use for everything from scheduling, inventory & overall spa management.

Minpunten:

I feel like when we find things that limit us within the software, the company comes out with updates that remedy this. I love how the company is constantly listening to its users concerns and looking for new ways to improve.

Meevo does not allow me to run payroll numbers for dates that are not exactly the same as the pay period. It also does not have the option to change a pay rate only as if a certain day. You cannot change a person's pay in the middle of a pay period and if you go back and run a prior period, it uses the current rate

Meevo Salon/Spa Software is amazing!

The software is simple to use, easy to train new staff, extensive reporting, well organized, and regularly being updated and improved based upon user feedback. Tech support is responsive, thorough, and very knowledgeable. We've been a user of prior versions of Meevo (Millennium, Harms Software Solutions) for nearly 25 years. Software has always been functional and very stable. Cloud-based Meevo is easy to use on a variety of mobile devices and has simplified business management from any location. Staff access to their books from their cell phones has created a sense of control for our team and in turn improved service provider retention.

The whole program is very user friendly once you get it all figured out. If not properly trained you may have a few confusing moments, but it is actually easy enough to figure out with a little trial and error. I enjoy using Meevo and I would definitely recommend this product.

I was so scared to change softwares, but Meevo made it very easy!! It was a huge change for myself and my staff, but with the "sandbox" feature it eased us all into it!
