Easy to use VPN

Pluspunten:

Very easy to connect to a VPN, connects really quickly and I haven't had issues with staying connected for a full day.

Minpunten:

I understand that it is for security reasons, but if my computer goes to sleep I am disconnected from the VPN. Just something to note for those that use VPNs a lot.

VPN-E time, AnyWhere Connection!

Opmerkingen: I love AnyConnect because of its consistency and reliability. I can always be confident that it will work as advertised as long as there aren’t any other outside factors that would hinder performance.

Pluspunten:

I like Cisco products in general because of their reliability but what I particularly like about AnyConnect is the ease of use for end users. I’ve used other VPN solutions that are a lot more cumbersome and take more steps to connect.

Minpunten:

Sometimes there is intermittent slowdown of the host network when connected but nothing that usually be resolved with a reboot of the device or modem/router.

Gateway to secured and reliable network connection.

Opmerkingen: Really a very good proxy service for an organization with reliability, security, and ease of use despite of few issues.

Pluspunten:

Secure network connectivity, fast proxy connection to end to end, reliable and authentication for network connection.

Minpunten:

Deployment and installation setup is complex, slow downs the internet and cost is expensive.

Connecting takes too long

Pluspunten:

Applications is small and simple. Allows user to logon before windows logon.

Minpunten:

It takes too long to connect. Why application does scanning after user enter credentials? Why it can't be done before to not waste user time? Also it requires all windows update to be done before connecting.

Cisco any connect is an vpn it will give a secure access in your network and you can access company data and resources very secure manner.

Strong VPN service with Cisco AnyConnect

Opmerkingen: Working remotely can be amazing, but cafes and co-working spaces often lack ironclad security. Cisco AnyConnect swoops in turning any Wi-Fi connection into a private tunnel. Setting it up was a breeze, even for someone who isn't tech-savvy. In most cases video calls are crystal clear, and downloads fly by.

Pluspunten:

As someone working remotely, I appreciate what Cisco AnyConnect offers. It is easy to set up. It also remembers my login details so I don't have to type them in every time. Their security features give me peace of mind knowing my data is protected, especially when working on public Wi-Fi.

Minpunten:

I've noticed occasional slowdowns in connection speed, especially when using a VPN server geographically far from Turkey.

Highly recommended product

Opmerkingen: Overall experience was more than the expectations. Highly secured environment and high user community for any issues. Fast and express speed UI.

Pluspunten:

- Very intuitive and easy to use platform. - Deployment and signin process is super easy and hassle free. - No latency and slowness observered even in VPN connection as well.

Minpunten:

Nothing to be disliked as such, all things work perfectly.

Cisco AnyConnect-secure solutions

Opmerkingen: I use it for corporate network connection from off-corp network.

Pluspunten:

Easy of use, connects fast and keeps connection uninterrupted. Security protocols are latest and vpn is secure

Minpunten:

All features are good, I haven’t encountered with any issues

A reliable VPN that works

Opmerkingen: A highly reliable VPN which automatically detects you are not on a trusted network and enables VPN so that you are working in a secure network

Pluspunten:

Reliable VPN which auto connects as soon as you are outside your office network Certain software on my laptop works only on the office network and with anyconnect working remotely is possible as anyconnect enables the VPN connection to the office network and lets me use the required tools and software even if I am not connected to office network

Minpunten:

Sometimes, it just refuses to connect to the VPN. This happens once or twice a month, but it is usually fixed automatically in 30 minutes to 1 hour, so it's not a big deal.

One of the best programs for remote connection to an internal network

Opmerkingen: Our company has been using anyconncet for years and it has never caused me any problems.

Pluspunten:

The best thing is that I can connect from anywhere.

I haven't found any flaws so far. I like everything about the app.

This is kinda useful. I have used this in most of all the companies I've worked for. This is very efficient and easy to navigate.

So far none, such a wonderful app. We don't often encounter an issue with this app.

It just works - intuitive, bulletproof & dependable

Opmerkingen: I use it daily and it simply works, as expected, all the time. Never a glitch or any issues.

Simple interface, intuitive to use and easy for first time users. It has enough functionality without being complex. Most of all it simply works day in day out.

Minpunten:

Nothing. Everything works well and there is nothing I could fault. I wish all software worked this well.

Cisco AnyConnect: An Efficient and Secure VPN Client

Opmerkingen: Very good experience from a performance and security perspective. Would recommend this VPN client for secure and efficient establishment of VPN tunnels.

Pluspunten:

We use Cisco AnyConnect to create secure encrypted tunnels to the Mason VPN server when off-campus. We benchmarked the security and performance of Cisco AnyConnect and it was really interesting its use of DTLS (Datagram Transport Layer Security) which relies on UDP to provide more efficient VPN tunneling by avoiding the complex TCP 3-way handshaking schemes. This is a great strategy in the cases when the underlying connections are already using TCP/TLS which avoids another expensive VPN TLS on top of the already existing TLS connection.

Minpunten:

Adding exception routes to divert traffic from using the VPN is not flexible to configure in Cisco AnyConnect. You need to do it within the OS using the add route command.

Opmerkingen: Along with powerful end-to-end security, data traffic between an organization & user end is exceptionally good.

Pluspunten:

I like the advanced Security features of this product that make it stand out from the top five products.

Minpunten:

I wish it could be a little less expensive. From a security perspective, it is worth spending. After all enterprise security matters.

Stable VPN with Cisco AnyConnect

Opmerkingen: We love using Cisco AnyConnect. It is trouble-free. If someone has troubles, we can do logging with it and determine where the issues are. Typically the uses are with home networks' instability rather than the software itself. The one thing Cisco can improve on is their customer support, and having account reps follow up with customers routinely.

Pluspunten:

Stability is marvelous. We started using Cisco AnyConnect 1+ years ago before the pandemic and had enough licenses to support the entire company. Our VPN was rock solid. When pandemic hit and we asked staff to work from home, every single person adjusted very well and were very pleased with the stability of their VPN connection.

Minpunten:

Customer support is not the best. Fortunately, the Cisco ASA hardware and Cisco AnyConnect VPN software works so well that we didn't have to call customer support much at all. When we did call, we got limited information that required us to research more and then call support with our findings.

A VPN Client That Just Works

Opmerkingen: Cisco AnyConnect has provided our users with an easy solution for securely connecting to the corporate LAN. I've found that Cisco's TAC group has also done a good job of supporting the product on the rare occasion when an issue does pop up. Overall, this is the perfect solution for our company: you're hardly aware that the product is even running and the support of the application by Cisco has given us nothing but confidence with its use within an enterprise environment.

Pluspunten:

I've used the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client over the last 10 years while also managing AnyConnect client-to-site configurations on ASAs. Both as a user and administrator, the product is straight-forward: through a few easy and well-documented steps, the VPN configuration is created leaving the client to simply login via the GUI which will provide them with the appropriate release and version of AnyConnect for their OS. Whether they're on a Mac, PC, or their mobile device, the process and use of AnyConnect to access our corporate network is easy and transparent for the non-technical user which means less time spent teaching and troubleshooting.

Minpunten:

Around a year ago, I worked with users and also personally experienced issues following a Windows update. Cisco TAC was able to work with us on changes to the .xml profile and get us up and running. 99% of the time, the product works fine. On the rare occasion that there are issues, more meaningful error messages would aid in determining root cause.

Best and most stable VPN solution I've used so far

Opmerkingen: My experience with AnyConnect has been great and it really helped me a lot during this period when I'm working from home, but I need to be connected to the company's secure network to be able to access the internal tools.
I can work from anywhere, needing only an available wifi network and my laptop.
With just 1 click I am already in a secure connection and with access to all the internal tools I need.
Another extremely high quality software developed by Cisco.

Pluspunten:

AnyConnect is a very easy to use application. Its configuration and usability are simple due to the clean and intuitive interface. I can connect with the security of an encrypted connection from any internet network with just 1 click. The application does not disconnect easily, which allows you to work smoothly and without connection problems.

Minpunten:

I can't see any weaknesses from the user's point of view. If I had to point out something, it would be about the very few times that the application disconnected during use and did not issue any alerts, however this has only happened to me 1 time so far.

Ok when it works

Opmerkingen: Cisco AnyConnect does what it's supposed to do - gets you connected to your VPN so that you can work remotely. It's not a fancy software, but it's efficient as long as it's not dropping your connection.

Pluspunten:

Cisco AnyConnect has made it possible for my company to easily transition to WFH during this unprecedented pandemic. While we've used AnyConnect for a long time, it's being very widely and frequently used at this point. AnyConnect is relatively simple to use - connect to your local wifi and then connect to the VPN. It's pretty foolproof to actually getting logged in.

Minpunten:

I'm not sure if this is unique to my company, but there's recently (within the last 6-8 months) been a change where AnyConnect needs to be reset/re-connected every 24 hours. While this is a small inconvenience, it's still annoying. I used to be able to stay connected to the VPN without limit. I've also experienced more frequent dropped connections as of late.

A very nice and easy way to connect to my companies VPN

Pluspunten:

-I like Cisco AnyConnect's small footprint. it only uses the screen real estate that is needed. -It provides multiple VPNs for me to connect to. If the east coast VPN is down, I can try the west cost VPN. - it shows me the my ip address which is a nice feature - it has a drop down of local wireless and wired networks that I can use to connect to the VPN, along with the signal strenght of each wireless network which is very handy. - It just works, I never really have any problems getting onto my VPN which is the most important featur in my book

Minpunten:

- it kicks me off after 24 hours, I'm not sure if this is cisco limitation, or a company restriction, but it would be nice if i could stay connected forever. -rarely despite entering all the correct credentials i still can't access the VPN, but I think this is a company issue instead of a cisco issue

Amazing Product

Opmerkingen: Cisco AnyConnect is doesn't have any issues - once I connect in the morning - connection is stable till end of day. There are no differences in my computer performance - everything works as fast and secure as if I was in the office. This was not case at my past employments using different connections. Connection would often get lost, and would take a while to disconnect. It is also 100% secure.

Pluspunten:

Cisco AnyConnect is fantastic. I used a number of other software at my previous jobs for VPN connection, and they were always faulty, I would often loose connection every few hours, it would take long to connect, sometimes several tries, which could be very annoying if you have a meeting or a deadline.

Minpunten:

I have not experienced any issues with Cisco AnyConnect.
