Over Cisco AnyConnect
Veilige mobiliteitsclient met meervoudige verificatie voor eindpuntapparaten.
It can easily connect and disconnect with a click of a button, and you can seamlessly integrate it with SSO.
Have had a few instances where it was failing to connect, but this could be the fault of company network rather than the Cisco app.

AnyConnect - Best VPN Client
Opmerkingen: It has worked quite well for us, it is much more stable than using Meraki and the end user has fewer problems.
It is the simplest tool for the end user. And for administrators, it is the one that gives us the most confidence for a secure connection to the organization. Additional soon it will also be able to be used with Meraki, we liked this news a lot.
In the new versions it is no longer compatible with the ISR4000 and is only supported on ASA and Firepower. I think this is a disadvantage, since it forces you to purchase a separate device for remote connection.
Easy to use for remote working
Opmerkingen: The scale, ease of use, ease of introduction, ease of use for users, etc., will be discussed once with the Cisco manager and the information system manager, and the above problems and issues will be resolved. We recommend that you consider the advantages.
You can easily create a VPN environment with a single click on your PC or smartphone. You can also easily select a server to connect to. In addition, by preparing multiple servers, even in an environment where the connection to a specific server is poor, the ability to connect to a VPN by selecting another server is also useful when using software that requires a VPN connection.
Although a VPN connection can be made, there are cases in which the communication speed drops and video conferences are interfered with.
Robust, secure and reliable VPN for remote work.
Opmerkingen: Thanks to the ease of implementation and use, Annyconnect was a key tool to keep our operation running normally in the middle of the covid-19 pandemic, with the difference that the activities would be performed from different locations, but with the same effectiveness and security as if we were in the office, with anyconnect the adaptation process was simple and short time for our entire team, also anyconnect to be compatible with any device favored even more to the implementation was fast and contingent, it really is very easy to use and navigate the user interface even more, to log in, just fill out the credentials (username and password) and you are ready to perform your daily work, since we use Anyconnect we are confident that all our information is safe, and thanks to its excellent performance has been possible to fully comply with all operational activities of our company.
I like the ease with which it can be integrated and deployed, it is easy to configure and manage (it is designed so that anyone can use it). Anyconnect provides a secure environment to connect to our corporate network, it is compatible with many devices, it is surprising that a tool so easy to use is so powerful and efficient; Anyconnect works very well and its performance is exceptional, it also keeps our information protected (provides security against viruses, malware, unauthorized websites and other online threats among others).
There is nothing I dislike about Anyconnect so far, to be very honest it has really worked wonders for us and the benefits we have obtained while using it are countless, I have no negative comments to highlight.
The telephone of my desk on my computer.
Opmerkingen: My overall experience with Cisco AnyConnect is that I used it a few times at work but today we have other resources like Teams for internal calls and meetings. When I need to make a call to the supplier, I use Whatsapp. Most of the time I use Any Connect to make international calls.
I like the convenience of carring my phone when I'm working from home and I can make the same calls as my desk phone.
I don't like the fact that I only use the internet to make calls on Cisco AnyConnect and sometimes have poor call quality.
Computer Feds. You're Always Protected
Opmerkingen: Cisco AnyConnect has been an essential tool for my business, providing secure and reliable remote access to our company's network and resources.
The best thing about Cisco AnyConnect is its robust security features, such as two-factor authentication and encryption, which have given me peace of mind when accessing sensitive company data from outside the office.
While Cisco AnyConnect is a highly effective remote access tool, it can sometimes have connectivity issues, especially when using older or less powerful devices.
Used as Remote Employee
Opmerkingen: Using Cisco AnyConnect allows me to work remotely and securely from any where. I am able to access files and shared drives easily and can trust that they are being transmitted securely.
I use this software most regularly to connect to my organization's VPN. I work remotely full time and use the VPN to access shared drives, files, and portals. It is simple to connect and saves the VPN path so I do not have to type it each time. My favorite thing about this software is its ease of use.
I do not find any of the elements of the software difficult to use.

Cisco AnyConnect: A dependable VPN connectivity solution
Opmerkingen: I had the chance to use Cisco AnyConnect on several occasions while working with the university's TI department. The solution proved to be quite helpful in setting up VPN connections so that users could access internal network resources from outside the campus. I discovered that the solution is often quite dependable and simple to use.
A dependable VPN connectivity solution that offers excellent remote access security is Cisco AnyConnect. Their interface is simple to use, allowing for quick and straightforward configuration. Regardless of the user's location or the network they are connecting to, AnyConnect offers a seamless user experience while connecting to VPN servers.
One of Cisco AnyConnect's limitations is the complexity that its configuration may exhibit in complex network environments. Additionally, in some circumstances, the connection speed may be impacted, which may hinder the user's experience with the software.
It connects very rapidly and is very easy to login to.
It some times interferes with applications outside the scope of this VPN
Safety Connection to work network
Easy and safe way to acess my work network for any place in the world
Some "network connectios fails" that obly to re-connect several times.
Stable VPN with Cisco AnyConnect
Opmerkingen: We love using Cisco AnyConnect. It is trouble-free. If someone has troubles, we can do logging with it and determine where the issues are. Typically the uses are with home networks' instability rather than the software itself. The one thing Cisco can improve on is their customer support, and having account reps follow up with customers routinely.
Stability is marvelous. We started using Cisco AnyConnect 1+ years ago before the pandemic and had enough licenses to support the entire company. Our VPN was rock solid. When pandemic hit and we asked staff to work from home, every single person adjusted very well and were very pleased with the stability of their VPN connection.
Customer support is not the best. Fortunately, the Cisco ASA hardware and Cisco AnyConnect VPN software works so well that we didn't have to call customer support much at all. When we did call, we got limited information that required us to research more and then call support with our findings.
The VPN you need (if you need VPN)
Opmerkingen: Any frustrations I've ever had with AnyConnect have been due to user error - nothing about the software itself. It's a minimal pop-up window that helps me log in and make a secure connection to get my work files. After using it for a while, it becomes habit just like anything else. I don't know what it's like as an administrator, but as a user I'm fully satisfied.
I don't fully understand the intricacies of VPN, but I trust our organization's IT team since they say we need it. VPN lets me get the files I need from our organization's server when I'm at home, and I have to say AnyConnect makes it easy to do so. You're just a few clicks away, and it reminds you if you've disconnected after a long period of inactivity or shutting your computer off. I don't have any experience with another VPN client, but I can't imagine it being much easier than this from a user perspective.
VPN is one of those things everyone finds annoying - but they don't complain about having to login into their Facebook account. It's pretty much the same number of clicks, except you can't auto-save your password (otherwise what's the point of logging in for security reasons?) It's one more thing to remember, sure, but we learn to remember the important processes that help us get our work done.
Very useful for external computer use at home for work!
Opmerkingen: Really really pleased with this tool! A must have for everyone who needs to work remotely and not have to go into work to use the work computer as it allows you to get your work interface with the VPN. Definitely a must have! It is very easy to install and use. Highly highly recommend!
I use this tool to allow me to work remotely at home, which has been very convenient, especially during the COVID pandemic/surge. With this tool, it basically mimics your computer as a work computer so you are able to do all your work assignments from home. There is an added security for logging on so no one else can accidentally load this on your computer. I HIGHLY recommend this tool as we use this a lot at Stanford. It allows me to finish my clinic notes at home by logging on remotely.
Sometimes, the software has to be updated in order for to log on, however, there is always an automatic update search that lets me know when I need to update. There is also an option to defer the update and still log on if you are in rush. So honestly, I cannot complain about this software.
Cisco AnyConnect - a secure and reliable VPN gateway
Opmerkingen: Overall extremely positive experience, Cisco AnyConnect does what it is supposed to do, it is a secure VPN gateway utilizing MFA and auto-reconnect and it is a must-have piece of software for anyone seeking to easily secure the access to their applications or sharepoint locations. The program is extremely quick when it comes to authentication and well optimized when it comes to system resource utilization.
Cisco Anyconnect provides swift and secure network access regardless of users location. Within our organization we utilize it mainly for external connections. Cisco AnyConnect was a life-saver during the pandemic period where majority of our company had to swiftly adjust to a new remote work-model. We found Cisco AnyConnect with it's lightweight design and user-friendly interface to be a perfect tool for the job. Embedded multi-factor authentication functionality and auto-connect features really make the VPN shine.
I have been utilizing Cisco AnyConnect for over two years at this point, and I am yet to find any issues with the software.
Best and most stable VPN solution I've used so far
My experience with AnyConnect has been great and it really helped me a lot during this period when I'm working from home, but I need to be connected to the company's secure network to be able to access the internal tools.
I can work from anywhere, needing only an available wifi network and my laptop.
With just 1 click I am already in a secure connection and with access to all the internal tools I need.
Another extremely high quality software developed by Cisco.
AnyConnect is a very easy to use application. Its configuration and usability are simple due to the clean and intuitive interface. I can connect with the security of an encrypted connection from any internet network with just 1 click. The application does not disconnect easily, which allows you to work smoothly and without connection problems.
I can't see any weaknesses from the user's point of view. If I had to point out something, it would be about the very few times that the application disconnected during use and did not issue any alerts, however this has only happened to me 1 time so far.
Using Cisco Any Connect
Opmerkingen: This application is used every day, with just a few clicks.
This software is very easy to use with only a few clicks. I log in to work using VPN on a daily basis. I usually work from home, but I have used Cisco Any Connect when having difficulty with our network at work. There is some setup involved to enter the VPN, but that is relatively easy the first time using the application. I have also added additional VPN addresses which is also very easy. The current setup at work has multiple VPNs to choose from on a dropdown list. The application is also easy for support to check and is easy for the user to check as well
Not this software but having to sign in every day. The current "clock" is set for 15 hours so there is basically no interruption. If I am unable to connect to the VPN, I do not know if it is a specific connection to that site, or a problem with my Internet connection
Easy, easy, easy
I'm not a firewall expert, but even I can get AnyConnect setup on a Cisco ASA 5XXX series in about an hour. It's a pretty straightforward process with lots of guides available. Installing it on the client is even easier, and the best part is that it's only two or three mouse clicks to get connected, so it's very easy to teach to an end user. The connection is rock solid, I've never had issues with connectivity.
Licensing anything with Cisco is confusing, and this is no exception. Even though I've done it several times, it still takes me more time than I'd care to admit to figure out the correct SKU for the software license I need. It's also annoying that many ASA's need to have a 512MB RAM stick installed before AnyConnect can be used. Configuring AnyConnect to use Radius is also pretty confusing for me, although this more a function of the ASA than AnyConnect.

Good vpn client tool to connect to company network
Opmerkingen: Overall it is a good, secure and free vpn client provided by Cisco use by many organization employees.
It is a good vpn client that allows you to access company resources through vpn. It is easy to configure with minimal efforts. Most widely used daily to access any resources in company network
It is free software and easy to use. No cons so far.
CiscoAnyConnect for VPN
Opmerkingen: It's overall a good product and I have no complaints. I look at the bottom line: can I access the shared drives at work from home? It makes this possible.
My organization uses Cisco for our VPN services. They provide a very simple setup script which gives us all the setting we need. It works quickly to load, and is very reliable. I am a worker who like to do remote work when possible; having a VPN access is a lifesaver.
My biggest con of the software is that I would have no idea how to adjust settings if I needed to. I'm sure I could figure it out, but that aspect is not user friendly. It may be that our admins do not want to share that piece with general users. In an older version I could not get it to cooperate with my home printer. The latest versions have been flawless there.
Opmerkingen: Cisco AnyConnect is doesn't have any issues - once I connect in the morning - connection is stable till end of day. There are no differences in my computer performance - everything works as fast and secure as if I was in the office. This was not case at my past employments using different connections. Connection would often get lost, and would take a while to disconnect. It is also 100% secure.
Cisco AnyConnect is fantastic. I used a number of other software at my previous jobs for VPN connection, and they were always faulty, I would often loose connection every few hours, it would take long to connect, sometimes several tries, which could be very annoying if you have a meeting or a deadline.
I have not experienced any issues with Cisco AnyConnect.
Easy and Fast VPN
Opmerkingen: Cisco AnyConnect has been a stable VPN solution for our organization. We use multiple instances of the software and it works very well for us currently.
Easy to setup and use. Quick VPN Connections. VPN speed is acceptable. Multi platform support is a big plus. Connection is always stable.
Location select option is not available. Pricing is higher than the competition. Disconnections happen when multiple users connect.
A Standard for VPN Client
Opmerkingen: Overall, it's very easy to use, reliable and well-protected.
I have been using this AnyConnect VPN for about 8 years and I have always been satisfied with the product. I mostly do VPN to my school domain or my server. AnyConnect is a reliable product to do my job. The speed is amazing, and the layer level of protection is about right. Recently, they just added one more level of protection with mobile phone DUO. I think is a right move which adds on protection without much hassle.
Cisco AnyConnect doesn't have any problem! Even if I'm away for the computer a long time, VPN stills connects. They must better communication between the personnel that makes the changes in the VPN server and the final user of the application. Sometimes I found the mismatch between them.
VPN Apps are Notoriously Frustration, but Cisco AnyConnect is Fairly Good
AnyConnect is faster and less frustrating than other VPN or remote clients that I've used. Normally, latency, long delays, and repeated attempts to remotely complete a task are the norm, but I've had very little of that with AnyConnect. And, when I do encounter it, it's often the fault of my (often spotty) remote Internet connection. It's not reasonable to blame AnyConnect for bad, slow, or unreliable Internet. When my connection is decent, it doesn't let me down.
I'm always concerned about information security when I'm using these kinds of clients. They're often done from insecure Wifi when traveling. I'd love to learn more about what Cisco has put in place to ensure that none of the information or work completed gets compromised.
Simple, Stable and Powerful VPN Software
Opmerkingen: The overall experience has been satisfactory for Cisco AnyConnect. There are not much issues apart from the internet speed drop. If your internet speed is good enough, the VPN software will work like a charm.
It is a very good VPN software. The connectivity speed is also good. You can securely connect to any of the VPN options available. It works very well when you have a closed organization network and want to connect to the company resources. AnyConnect provides various functionalities to connect to the internal network securely. The interface is also very simple and easy to use. It also does not take much resources of your system.
The most common issue about Anyconnect is the Network speed drop. The speed of your internet connection will drop significantly once you connect to the VPN. Apart from this there are not much issues. You need to have a good internet connection in order to use AnyConnect.
Excellent solution if you're looking for a VPN
Opmerkingen: This software has made life a lot easier in this pandemic and I don't see another replacement for this product. This software is awesome and easy to use and integrate to your daily life. If you are looking to use it, don't hesitate!!
My organization uses cisco AnyConnect to let us remotely and securely access our work computers from home. It can easily connect and disconnect with a click of a button, and you can seamlessly integrate it with SSO. There is no drop in internet speeds whatsoever when connected using Cisco AnyConnect. Connect your laptop or PC to WiFi and login to Cisco AnyConnect using your organizations domain, do an SSO and boom you're connected. As easy as that.
Sometimes Cisco AnyConnect disconnects from my organization network. That only happens when I've been logged on to it for over 8hrs. But you can always connect back again. This happens to me once or twice a month.
