GREAT WAY TO DO A DIAGRAM! really simple but really good

Powerful, free, and very intuitive
Opmerkingen: Draw.io is my diagramming tool of choice. It's free, and easy to use, and you are free to download your diagrams in a variety of free and open-source formats for use in other software. Nothing is locked behind proprietary formats, or predatory pricing. If you want the more enterprise features to collaborate with bigger teams, you're welcome to pay, but you can go a very long way on the free tier.
Pluspunten:
I love that draw.io can be used entirely for free, there are no diagram types nor crucial diagramming features that are locked behind a paywall. They have a wonderful free template library of starter diagrams and their tools are competitive with even most paid diagramming software. I absolutely love draw.io.
Minpunten:
Bigger more complicated diagrams can become slow and janky to edit, but being a web-based tool a completely understandable constraint, and can usually be forgiven and/or worked around by splitting diagrams up into more digestible chunks.
Make Workflows even better
Pluspunten:
easiest tool to make and share workflows
Minpunten:
no cons, one of the best and free tools that is better than any other out there
Basic Diagramming Tool, But Lacks Modern Appeal
Opmerkingen: Overall, while draw.io provides useful templates for beginners, it doesn’t match the features or ease of newer platforms. Saving files before editing can feel tedious, and the interface isn’t as intuitive as other tools. This tool is functional, but I would recommend other options for a smoother experience.
Pluspunten:
Draw.io offers some solid templates for beginners, making it a decent choice for simple diagramming. It’s functional and straightforward for users new to diagram tools.
Minpunten:
The website feels outdated and hard to navigate. Templates lack visual appeal, and the AI for creating diagrams doesn’t work as smoothly as expected. Additionally, having to save the file to your PC before starting can be inconvenient, especially if you decide to switch templates mid-way.
One of the best in the market
Opmerkingen: Great features that fit the majority of my use cases. Opportunities exist but it’s one of the best in the market
Pluspunten:
Very easy to create diagrams to explain topics and concepts. Great set of free shapes and icons. Love how it integrates directly in confluence as well.
Minpunten:
Arrows can be annoying as default includes elbows that sometimes overlap other shapes. You can update to a straight line which often looks better but it doesn’t save this. Personalization options could be better overall.
Creating entity relation diagrams in draw.io
Opmerkingen: I’ve been using draw.io to make entity relations diagrams, to know how I’m going to design the database.
Pluspunten:
Integration of other tools, templates for elements, diagrams and flowcharts. There’s also support for dark mode.
Minpunten:
Sometimes loading the diagrams takes a couple of seconds, there’s like delay.

Create Appealing Diagrams with Ease
Opmerkingen: I absolutely love using Draw.io. It is my go to tool for create various kinds of diagrams and flowcharts. I have the tool added in my word plugin as well to easily access the diagrams.
Pluspunten:
I like using Draw.io to create a various kinds of skeleton diagrams and flow charts. I love the ease of accessing different shapes and using various connectors to create appealing diagrams.
Minpunten:
I think that Draw.io can be further improved by allowing to select the flexibility to, for example, connect the shapes with the connectors at whatever location desired. Further, I would love to see a lighter version of the plugins and direct access to draw.io diagrams in word or adobe.

A really good software product which can aid multiple departments, not just for technical support.
Opmerkingen: This allowed team collaboration quickly, simple and intuitive. I would recommend this to anyone technical that may have to draw charts, diagrams as well as for sales teams to enable quick process flow demonstrations, its a flexible software.
Pluspunten:
The immediate thing that was enjoyed within draw.io is the templates and selection of icons, later I found I could also search the icons with key words, once diagrams are created the arrows and connectors when properly aligned snap in place, say the user was drawing a diagram of a home network with a router connected to a PC, laptop and printer, once the connectors are snapped in place - if the user of the software drags the router to another place the connectors move with it.Now of course if you have linked with straight lines, and in once colour it can end up looking messy, draw.io allows you to change the colours, and edit all elements very easily, so the straight line can be curved. Adding small labels such as text was super quick. The software was really easy to use.It integrated easily into confluence, and the files could be saved and detached to send to other users in email. HR was able to use it to create org charts and whilst sales team was not seen using it to create new items they often requested diagrams and edited them for their own use.
Minpunten:
What I found tricky to use in draw.io was the page sizing and scaling, it was tricky to see page margins, I also didn't find the control using a mouse easy when editing diagrams, this however is both minor and subjective as my peers made it look very easy, with the exception of page sizing and scaling there is not much to fault with this software.

Draw.io - a simple-to-use and high-quality flowchart designer
Pluspunten:
Simple to use flowchart maker with visually-pleasing results
Minpunten:
Could potentially have more options for visuals - but this is a minor point

draw.io is one of the simplest tools for your software architecture and design documents
Opmerkingen: Overall, the experience of drawing with draw.io is so light weight that I will always go back to if for my software design diagrams
Pluspunten:
The most significant benefit of draw.io is the simplicity to get started. It is very straightforward to use and easy to understand the tool and its menus. Within minutes you can figure out how to use it to draw your software design.
Minpunten:
The Cloud specific images, like AWS or Azure could be a little more high quality and less plain. It would be nice if the icons for various cloud services could be as similar as their official icons as possible, though they are still recognizable.

Draw.io - the best free diagramming app
Opmerkingen: Overall, I have always had a great experience with draw.io. I first used it in my university days to develop various diagrams required for my assignment. Since then, I have been using it and have recommended many friends and collogues to use it. I have tried other software like draw.io but have never considered switching to any one of them.
Pluspunten:
The fact that draw.io is completely free for everyone is the best part about it. Many of it's competitors have expensive pricing plans. Draw.io is so easy to use and accessible to anyone, anywhere. A beginner can learn to use draw.io in less than an hour. One of the best features about draw.io is it's drag and drop feature which comes in handy all the time. We have been using draw.io in our office for more than a year now for making flowcharts, ER Diagrams, class diagrams, activity diagrams and other diagrams required to develop an app or a software.
Minpunten:
The fact that draw.io does not have a lot of templates is something that I don't like. Other software offer much more templates than draw.io but at a cost.
diagrams.net is an efficient tool to make graphics
Opmerkingen: Overall, the customization options in diagrams.net enable users to create diagrams that are visually appealing, easy to read, and tailored to their specific needs and preferences.
Pluspunten:
diagrams.net is ease of use, its flexibility, and its wide range of customization options. Also, it allows to create complex diagrams quickly and easily, and the ability to customize their appearance.
Minpunten:
The user interface of diagrams.net can be overwhelming at first because it can be a bit counterintuitive in terms of user-friendliness, as there are many options within the same tab
Powerful but takes a little getting used to
Pluspunten:
Lots of low level control - pretty much able to do anything, you just have to be patient.
Minpunten:
Have to take your time with the presentation - not as nice looking diagrams by default.. I found I spent longer finessing the diagrams than with other tool,.s
Recommend this for diagram creation for developers
Pluspunten:
Most importantly this is free and provide a very clean and organizable interfaces. Drag and drop feature makes designing more easy. I can share my diagram with others and work with others simultaneously. Also this integrates with other tools like confluence and jira and I can directly save my diagram to those tools. This is very easy to use tool for me.
Minpunten:
I haven't face any issue using this and I'm really positive.
draw.io: Versatile Flowchart Maker
Pluspunten:
First of all it has all the necessary templates needed for making flowcharts. Distinguished and specific units for technical and non-technical work. User Interface is simple and easy for making drawings and flowcharts.
Minpunten:
There's nothing to dislike about draw.io. It's web version is free and best.

Draw.io - A perfect solution for professional diagrams and flowcharts
Opmerkingen: Overall, the experience with draw.io is excellent. It is one of the most inexpensive solution for diagrams and flowcharts which help lots of businesses.
Pluspunten:
The collection of icons is the most useful feature of Draw.io to create professional diagrams and flowcharts. It helps me in designing web architectures for my customers which helps me to explain them the architecture easily.
Minpunten:
There is hardly anything to dislike about draw.io.
diagrams.net - Easy to create Flowchart
Opmerkingen: It is good software for creating flow diagrams and creating charts.
Pluspunten:
diagrams.net is easy to edit and customize according to our needs. It is web software that has a lot of templates which is simple and accessible to all. It allows us to save instantly and also, we can connect it with many applications.
Minpunten:
While reopening a document it takes much time. It is difficult to access charts and flow if there is any connectivity issue or any issue with google drive.
Great and simple Diagramming tool
Pluspunten:
A lightweight and straight forward tool to quickly and processionally create amazon diagrams and flowcharts
Minpunten:
The UI can use a bit of updating and the pool of shapes and symbols can also do with an update.

Easy to use
Opmerkingen: Diagrams.net proved to be a great tool for creating diagrams.
Pluspunten:
I found diagrams.net to be incredibly helpful for creating diagrams quickly and easily. It was user-friendly and intuitive, and had the capability of visualizing complex concepts and processes. With just a few clicks and drag-and-drop operations, I could create aesthetically pleasing diagrams. I was also able to collaborate with others by sharing the diagrams online and export them in various formats, such as PDF, SVG, PNG, and JPG. Furthermore, I could customize the diagrams to my liking.
Minpunten:
There are not many ways to adjust the look and feel of the diagrams, and it can be difficult to make diagrams look exactly as you want them to.

The to-go tool for small vector graphics
Opmerkingen: Once for a project we had to create an UML sequence diagram. We used draw.io for this . It worked great, it looked fantastic. Until we noticed that we forgot some calls so we had to add more boxes and more arrows. We thought that surely we could just drag what we have around a bit without breaking everything but no. Luckily it wasn't very big yet so we started from scratch and did not connect the arrows to the boxes until we were sure everything was stable. There might be a way to stop the arrows from freaking out but we could not find it.
Pluspunten:
I love draw.io . Need a graphic for a presentation or some sort of LaTeX report? Use draw.io, it certainly beats fiddling around with LaTeX to get what you want. It allows you to export in .svg format (vector graphics) which you can scale to any size without loss of quality. Ever tried to increase the size of a .jpg or the like and noticed how horrible it looks? That doesn't happen with vector graphics. It supports so many useful "graph types" out of the box, it's great. If you want to draw a specific kind of diagram/graph it most likely supports that and gives you all the boxes, edges, etc. that you need to make your graph. Aligning your elements is super easy thanks to a wonderful grid system that lets you (among other things) place components perfectly aligned side-by-side or under each other. You can customize virtually anything, size, color, font, font size, anything. Complete control over what you are trying to make. If you need to make a graph or diagram of some kind and there is no tool to make the specific thing you need, just use draw.io. Or, if there is, still use draw.io because it will probably look nicer and give you a lot more option than whatever tool you want to use.
Minpunten:
The one thing I dislike, I'd say even HATE about draw.io are the arrows. Simple use case: You want to connect two boxes with an arrow. That's simple - except later you notice you don't like the position of the boxes and move them. Now your arrows will most likely try to bend in ways to keep the connection but by doing so they will get horribly bent and look atrocious. This is especially bad if you move multiple boxres.

"Diagrams.Net Review: Exploring Its Template Management Features And Integrations"
Opmerkingen: My overall experience with Diagrams.Net is positive. I appreciate its intuitive interface, flexibility to support multiple diagram types, and advanced collaboration tools. Additionally, integrations with other tools are widely praised, making it easier to work on projects.I've been solving a wide range of business problems with Diagrams.Net, including creating process flowcharts, data models, UML diagrams, and other types of diagrams. The software helps me visualize complex information clearly and concisely, facilitating communication with other team members and making more informed decisions. In short, my experience with Diagrams.Net is positive and the software has helped me a lot to solve business problems, facilitate communication and speed up decision making.
Pluspunten:
I would like to highlight 4 features that I like the most:1. Flexibility: The software supports multiple types of diagrams, which means I can create multiple types of templates using the same software.2. Intuitive Interaction: The software's user interface is easy to use, which means I can create diagrams quickly and with little learning curve.3. Integrations: The integrations with collaboration, project management and coding tools I really appreciate as they make working on projects easier.4. Collaboration tools: The software includes collaboration features such as real-time diagram sharing and simultaneous editing, which is valuable when working in teams on projects.5. Performance: The software is known to be fast and reliable, which means I don't have to worry about performance issues.
Minpunten:
Limited features: Although the software includes many advanced features, sometimes I miss some specific features that are offered by other diagramming software.Complexity: While the software's user interface is easy to use, I found some of the more advanced functionality a bit complex.Limited Integrations: Although the software has many integrations, the available integrations do not meet all my needs in some cases.Limited updates: Software updates are less frequent than I would like them to be.
diagrams.net is the best diagram and flowchart creating tool
Opmerkingen: we use to create the blueprint for the app and its working systems and send it to the developers. The process of work and tools are fantastic in diagram.net; it is suitable for both beginners and professionals, I would definitely recommend it if you are starting in diagraming and blue print design. we can share our designs to dropbox, google docs and google drive, so it is better when we create a design and share it with our development team.
Pluspunten:
The advantages of using diagrams.net - simple to use and easy to learn. we can create a Blueprint for any project. It Comes with lots of tools like basic and advanced shapes and lots of elements; we can also add Tiles tables and customize them properly. It provides various options to export our work like drive devices and others.it is good software for diagramming purposes. it is easy like drag and drop functionality. it is web based so no need to install this on your device and you can use it as portable.
Minpunten:
When I started using diagrams.net, I was in university. Hence, at that time, I use to create blueprints for apps and systems; I found difficulty in 2 things, mainly first the exporting issue we have to be careful with the size and selection of export so that we can get better output or image. The second zoom in and zoom out is more complex in draw io; it could be better. But it gets the job done, so not a big issue while using it.
Satisfies all your diagrammatic needs
Opmerkingen: Overall, I believe it more than meets the expectations if you are using it to make diagrams for reports and such but if you need to make professional UML diagrams and if you are looking to collaborate in real-time I would not recommend this.
Pluspunten:
Diagrams.net allows you to draw any type of diagram you would want and you could easily save it in your Google Drive. To help out, it also provides a range of starter templates for different types of diagrams although I prefer starting from a blank slate. Any shape or figure you need could be easily searched for and you could even import images. To export, they give a variety of options including png and XML and unlike Visual Paradigm, diagrams.net does not leave a watermark behind. The best thing about diagrams.net is that it is very easy to use and not limited to UML diagrams and such.
Minpunten:
The collaboration could use more features as it is extremely hard for people to work on the same diagram at the same time due to the delays, so I wouldn't recommend using it for collaboration. Other than that, the diagrams don't carry the professional look and feel that applications like Visual Paradigm provide. It doesn't stick to the UML rules so if you did something wrong you'd never know but that comes at the cost of support for multiple types of diagrams.

A must-have tool for making all kinds of diagrams
Opmerkingen: If you're looking for a simple, straightforward tool for drawing flowcharts and other basic kinds of diagrams, then you have found the perfect option. Give it a try!
Pluspunten:
This is by far one of the easiest programs that I have ever found for drawing all sorts of diagrams. It's deceptively simple, too--the drag-and-drop interface, which includes all kinds of helpful features such as adjustable gridlines, snapping to guides and handles, and a relatively wide range of built-in image/icon/symbol "libraries" (e.g., flowchart symbols, electronic schematic symbols, architectural symbols), is easy enough that anyone can use it. But start clicking around, and you discover that you can tinker under the hood and directly manipulate the XML code that the software is generating, which means that you can do some impressive stuff with this otherwise very basic software. And it's free, too!
Minpunten:
While I don't intend this as a criticism, I can imagine that some people would complain that the basic features and functionality of the software is too basic or "plain," and that stylistic controls are limited. (This is, in fact, one of the things I like most... no distracting formats and bells and whistles to keep me from getting my work done!) The pop-up window at startup that invites you to start from a supposed "template" is useless and should be ignored. And it can be tricky to add symbol libraries if what you need isn't included by default.
diagrams.net review
Opmerkingen: My overall experience with diagrams.net has been great, I did many of my college works and projects through this software. In this pricing range, a good tool to collaborate on and deliver amazing outcomes. It is simple to incorporate in the cloud and may be shared as a Google document or updated within the shared file.
Pluspunten:
The thing that I liked the most about diagrams.net is as follows, - Data access is very easy and provides flexibility for users and project collaborations with teams is easier since the data can be accessed through cloud platforms- Suitable and preferred diagrams is easier to search as they have easy diagram searching feature- Data backup and recovery is very easy- It is easily integrated with different other apps and tools so it makes user's work easier
Minpunten:
The thing that I liked least about diagrams.net is as follows,- There are few shapes available, and the UI appears to be difficult to navigate sometimes for beginners- If the internet quality is not so good, then the downloaded file might not open properly or gets low quality - If you do not save and/or download your draft before turning off your device, it is very likely that it will be lost

diagrams.net - Most popular integrated diagramming application
Opmerkingen: It is free and requires no client installation. It gives native stencil for technologies that we use.
Pluspunten:
It is an open source platform and ease for making flowcharts, UML, SQL related entity relations. It can be used in business documentation for better understanding and present data visually.
Minpunten:
It lacks at opening an existing diagram when we open freshly and few advanced features are missing.
