Divvy is the BEST
Opmerkingen: Amazing. I truly enjoyed working with our Implementation Manager and felt like they worked with us as a partner, not a client. They were willing to work with us on all of our many asks.
Pluspunten:
Divvy is a very innovative product that allows for you to have an all in one product. They not only issue the card, but they provide the expense management. With their help, we have been able to bring all expense coding inside Accounting to allow for our teammates in the field to just submit a receipt and a business purpose and move on.
Minpunten:
The reimbursement and reporting side could use some work. Divvy does not charge for reimbursements and does not make money for that part of the product, so I understand that it is not their priority, however to make a better product they would puts some resources there.
Expense and Reimbursement Management for next to nothing
Opmerkingen: Overall, implementing Divvy has ben a huge win for my organization. It's streamlined our expense reporting process, keeps all expense records within a single system and costs us nothing. We've used other paid platforms in the past, and Divvy's solution is far superior.
Pluspunten:
We rolled out Divvy in June of 2022. Every employee has a Divvy account for reimbursements; about 20% of our employees also have corporate credit cards. This is what works:- Easy to set up custom fields to correspond to our accounting system for expense coding and tracking- Budgets set up by functional team so managers are approving their direct reports transactions- Easy to adjust teams/budgets on the fly- App always works and employees can code charges and upload receipts seconds after a charge is made- Easy to administer; add employees, cancel cards or charges, delete employees, adjust budgets, add accounts. The system is simple to navigate and intuitive.
Minpunten:
Some drawbacks to Divvy - - No notification alerting you that a budget is getting close to its monthly spend limit- Employees need lots of education on how budgets work; they need to request funds BEFORE spending- Reimbursement tab needs to be more obvious. Managers don't check and can have employee requests languishing there for weeks- Reimbursements don't hit employee accounts for days after the funds have already been withdrawn from the company account
The worst software purchase that I have ever experienced
Opmerkingen: Horrible and SUPER frustrating! When we were demoing the product we were told that the application process will take at the most a week, it took us 4 month to get our application approved. We have worked with following team: [SENSITIVE CONTENT]. It took sometimes several follow ups to get answer and any progress on the issues we were dealing with. In the end we had to go through their Credit Builder program to get set up on the system. Next was setting up integration with NetSuite, there was a small issue with set up and it took following up and 14 days for them to find solution. (having experience working with other softwares this is very very long time)And final issue, logging in only two weeks after everything was set up (users, departments, integrations ect.) we see message [SENSITIVE CONTENT]. Which we do and the support team tells us that they are closing Credit Builder program and if we are still interested in their spend software we are welcome to re-apply for Divvy at any time.This is the most frustrating experience that I had thought my career.
Pluspunten:
Can't say anything here because I didn't even have an ability to experience the software.
Minpunten:
The big one - support, from the start of application to installing the integration with Net Suite. Very slow to address the issues, team seemed very low on knowledge of the product and processes.The application process - limited to US only. If you want to apply for it and you are not in US DO NOT EVEN THINK about applying for it, the verification process was tedious and frustrating.

Great Credit Card and Expense Tracking Software
Opmerkingen: I have loved Divvy! I highly recommend it. We are much more streamlined and misplace way few receipts.
Pluspunten:
I love that we now have credit cards instead of a bunch of debit cards. I like the app a lot. My employees and I get a notification immediately on our phone to upload receipts, categorize the expense, and write any notes. I also love that I have control over how much money each of my employees have access to. I can easily take away and add more.
Minpunten:
I have had a few cons. 1) I am supposed to get a reminder email every Monday morning with a "to-do" list. I have gotten it about 50% of the time due to bugs in the system. The same goes for my employees. 2) I would love to not be able to approve my own transactions. 3) On the transactions page, place where you add filters seems not as well organized as I would like. I would love to be able to personally edit the order of the filters. I am constantly scrolling to the bottom.

Divvy is the best expense software by far!
Opmerkingen: Overall with Divvy, we’ve been able to increase visibility in spending, empower our employees to make purchases and allow our budget managers control over what is being spent from their budget. It has been a win-win-win for us. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Pluspunten:
I love that Divvy is not only free, but that it also allows you to manage expenses companywide we have about seven spenders in our small business and using Divvy allows us to assign budgets issue funds to particular employees and allow them to make purchases as needed. it also streamline to the bookkeeping process because all of the transactions are already categorized and require receipt upload it is absolutely fantastic.
Minpunten:
It’s hard to think of anything I don’t like about the software because I love it so much the only negative I can think of is that setting it up to integrate well with your books can’t take a bit of time however, their team walks you through the entire process from beginning to end, which makes the process a lot easier.
Saves so much time for a small accounting and admin team
Opmerkingen: The Divvy team was fast and friendly. I submitted an application and a week later I had cards, an active admin portal and virutal cards set up for vendors. Special thanks to [SENSITIVE CONTENT] for helping us get set up so fast!
Pluspunten:
The best thing about Divvy is that employees can designate a transaction to a specific budget right at the time of the transaction. They upload the receipt right then and there and they're done! No more bugging staff for expense reports, missing receipts, wrong amounts. This will be a game changer for our small team.
Minpunten:
We are still pretty new to Divvy but so far it's been great. We'll need to make sure that there are strong controls for everyone, including admins on the account but so far it has been a solid product. Very intuitive and easy to use.
We love Divvy!
Opmerkingen: Divvy has been great and everyone we have come in contact with has been very helpful. I have even been able to text the guy who helped us set everything up with any questions that have come up. Customer service has been excellent!

I love how seamlessly it syncs with QB online. Every employee loves the app, also!

There have been issues with employees receiving the verification emails due to the email our company uses, but we have worked out the kinks.

Great Company Spend & Budgeting Tool
Opmerkingen: We wanted a solution for our different departments to have control over their spend while making sure we still had firm controls and oversight in place. Divvy met all those requirements for free.
Pluspunten:
Divvy has a great budgeting tool that allows you to easily segment departments so that they are in control of their own spend. Their app is easy to use to keep track of reciepts and ensure your team is in compliance. Best of all everything is free.
Minpunten:
Getting set up and a credit line is a bit cumbersome as I have seen other companies have a much easier onboarding and offer higher levels of credit.
A Game Changer for Us!
Opmerkingen: With BIll spend and expense, it makes it very easy for us to keep track of employee expenses but everything about the platform is all amazing. We have cards for everyone but also virtual card feature is great. To be able to upload the receipt from the app and to also approve/disapprove charges is great. We are truly grateful.

The thing we loved the most is how easy and amazing the platform in general is. We also absolutely love the mobile receipt feature. We hated keeping track of receipts.

Budget Tracking and Purchasing
Pluspunten:
I love using this app so I can purchase what I need and record everything. I also love that I can see how much money is left in each budget so I always know how much money there is left. If I forgot to upload a receipt, I immediately get a notification from Divvi to remember to upload the receipt. It is also very easy to request more money in a budget if needed!
Minpunten:
You must check while budget you have selected BEFORE going and purchasing something.

Easy to use expense management tool
Opmerkingen: Tool was relatively easy to set up and continues to be better than the other tool we have used.
Pluspunten:
Integrated credit card management and the ability to have virtual credit cards.
Minpunten:
Being able to email/forward an email receipt is very handy, however it doesn't always work. Sometimes I do receive back to back messages, one saying it was rejected followed by one that says it was accepted.

A quick and easy way to manage receipts and mileage reimbursement

The ability to take photos of receipts in the app and the map feature for mileage reimbursement

During the initial setup I remember having issues with my work email account not syncing w/ the Divvy app so I couldn't log in, but that could have been use error

Divvy is a great product to use to implement a paperless A/P process
Opmerkingen: Divvy has increased our cash back on our credit card transactions and has allowed us to transition to a paperless A/P system. We use their bill pay service and upload all of our invoices to their system and we don't have to pay anything to use Divvy.
Pluspunten:
The ease of querying past credit card transactions and invoices is impressive. The ability to save invoices and mark how they were paid is crucial to being paperless and works great in Divvy.
Minpunten:
I haven't found a good way of showing that budget owners have approved expenses.

Divvy is a LIFESAVER!
Opmerkingen: WAAAAYYYY easier to track spending. Receipts are all in one place. Staff is able to take more ownership and complete reimbursement requests and expense tracking on the go through the app. Wonderful that it syncs with their bank accounts so disbursing reimbursements is a breeze.
Pluspunten:
Divvy was easy to set up and is easy for our whole staff to use. Our previous expense management was done more manually, was time consuming, harder for staff to use, and an all around pain. Divvy alleviated all those problems!
Minpunten:
The only thing I dislike is not being able to sync reimbursements in QB online the same way credit card expenses can be synced. It's definitely not a deal breaker, but more time consuming for sure to have to download the reimbursements, format the csv and upload in QB, vs just hitting "sync" like you can do with the credit card expenses.
Divvy is EASY and saves time
Opmerkingen: I have enjoyed working with ad using Divvy. Customer service is responsive and the application makes it very easy to order new cards, suspend cards, and allows for virtual cards.
Pluspunten:
Divvy has made significant difference with reconciling credit card expenses and reducing indirect time for staff. It is easy for staff to upload receipts through out the month and allows for better tracking of expenses. The app is super easy and provides alerts to remind you to upload your receipt following a purchase.
Minpunten:
Sometimes the card is perceived as a prepaid card at some businesses.
Great for small business
Opmerkingen: Overall, Divvy is very helpful. Their customer service reps are always very pleasant. My complaints are about the way the website and app function.
Pluspunten:
Divvy is great for tracking expenses and allows for employees to have their own card for purchases.
Minpunten:
The worst part of Divvy is the approval process. It's not user friendly and doesn't make much sense. It can be a nightmare for companies that are audited.
Exactly what you need to manage expenses
Opmerkingen: I have been very happy with Divvy. The customer service, the simplicity of the system, the ability to budget are all been what we needed in an expense company credit card system.
Pluspunten:
It allows the creation of budgets. We can create budgets and give anyone access to a budget or not. Giving us the flexibility to give everyone a card and issuing funds on an as needed basis. Divvy also is constantly looking for ways to improve the product and make it better, for instance the dashboard of how many transactions need to be approved or completed.
Minpunten:
It is hard to think of any, one thing I would like the ability to do would be to drag an email into the receipt box as a number of receipts are not attachments or pdfs. Watch they will upgrade the system to do this in the next release.I did think of one...card holders sometimes have been denied transactions when they have funds on their cards and or budgets. This has been very inconvenient for those traveling.
Divvy was a BIG win for our church!
Opmerkingen: This was a Big win for us this year. We had a big bank credit card and Concur for reconciliation and that was expensive and cumbersome. Employees avoided reconciling like the plague! Now our reports are almost 100% on time. Our spending is transparent and easy to follow. It's been a tremendous blessing for us.

We love the credit card feature. The ease of use is the best we've experienced.
Minpunten:
There is really nothing I don't like. I wish sales tax was automatically sectioned out of expenses but that is a minor problem. Splitting works fine.

Upgraded Our Expense Management Process!
Opmerkingen: We spend less time printing, scanning, typing, and re-typing for our expenses since beginning to use Divvy. It's a net positive.
Pluspunten:
App is very easy to use - almost no instruction needed - intuitive!
Minpunten:
Lack of integration of reimbursements - expenses not charged to the card - with our accounting software makes the last 10-15% of our transactions more difficult than before.
Best Decision
Pluspunten:
We love divvy and are so glad we incorporated it into our company this year. It has saved executives and a employees hours on expense reporting. It has helped us start planning budgeting. Also the requesting and approving of funds is so easy. I have and will continue to recommend Divvy to others!
Minpunten:
The only negative is the delay on the pre loading for ACH is super long.
Managing money on tour has never been easier
Opmerkingen: Before we had to go at the end of month and code transactions for a team that is literally world wide. By switching to divvy, no more chasing people down for expense reports. Instant and the receipt capture feature is brilliant. We have implemented this out to the tour groups we operate. Tens of thousands of dollars that move easier with more precision than before with cash or card.
Pluspunten:
Divvy has made it seamless and easy to manage funds for our tours. Lots of moving parts, very little time spent. Automatically categorize expenses that sweep into QBO. Makes end of month easy as pie. Currently 600 users and love it!
Minpunten:
Occasional declines for software errors and no way to schedule fund drops
Finally a Credit Card with All the Features We need and More!
Opmerkingen: We have had a great experience with Divvy. It has made accounting much easier as well as purchasing. The points are an awesome perk as well.
Pluspunten:
We are so pleased with this software. The Quickbooks Desktop integration is key and the ability to add as many vendor cards as we need has made reconciling a breeze. The ability to approve funds request instantly is also a huge feature for us.
Minpunten:
I did run into an issue where if we split a transaction to categorize it under different expense accounts when the transaction is synced it splits into two separate entries. This does not work for us so we no longer use the split feature. The work around we currently use is to enter notes about splitting the transaction then we edit it in quickbooks after we sync the transaction.
Divvy makes it easy to budget and allocate!

Divvy is so easy to use and works perfectly to manage multiple budgets, split expenses, and tie it all together. We love it for the vendor cards that we can issue to users in the org and for tracking our teams monthly expenses. So easy.
Minpunten:
There isn't much that I don't like! It's maybe confusing trying to request money if you are new to the system, but once you're trained, I think it's a great tool
Credit Card Use Management
Pluspunten:
The transition to the Divvy corporate card platform was seamless. Staff were able to get started using their cards and coding/attaching receipts with minimal training. I hear positive reviews from staff on the ease of use and that translates to high policy compliance rates. Th interest in Divvy to continually improve and expand the product is amazing. I mentioned a need we have and a few weeks later I am talking to a development team on how this should work.

The conversion to a budget owner set up for corporate cards was new to us and did take some time working out how this would work in our environment. But once we had it set- it is working wonderfully for us. We are getting ready to test mileage reimbursement which open the platform up to a larger group of staff.
