Consistent, efficient, and supportive

Opmerkingen: My experience over the years has been excellent. Even when concerns come up, they are addressed and resolved professionally and with empathy.

Pluspunten:

The iSolved platform is well integrated and easy to use. Most recently, the tax team has been phenomenal is resolving time sensitive issues. Their follow up has been appreciated.

Minpunten:

What I personally like least makes iSolved one of the reasons it works well. Dealing with different teams for different areas can be a challenge but it provides specialist to expert level support while the help desk centralizes and divvies up the tasks as needed.

isolved time clock system

Opmerkingen: i thought it was way better than our old manual time card days to switch to isolved and be more tech savvy in our ways. just the website itself would lag a lot of if a lot of users were trying to clock in at same time it seemed, if we had problems/issues took a while to get a hold of someone to help and very time consuming so we ended it and went with a more local place to help and switched to buddy punch.

Pluspunten:

i liked like you can punch in and out from computer , submit time off requests to your supervisor from your computer, and view time off requests and hours left etc. it was nice to have all info about your hours, vacation, etc at your fingertips instead of going to ask hr or supervisor..

Minpunten:

customer service was terrible. hard to get a hold of anyone and when we did was not very helpful and very time consuming.

Payroll processing and HR data entry in one place is great

Opmerkingen: The ability to dial for assistance and receive prompt service is quite convenient. Nobody likes having to wait until the next payday to get paid. Therefore, an immediate response is useful when adjustments and additions need to be made.

Pluspunten:

We like that all of our human resource and payroll data can be entered into a single system. For us, technologically speaking, it was a quantum leap into the future. We also appreciate how safe and accessible it is from any location.

Minpunten:

On occasion, it can be difficult to get your message across. For instance, they want to charge us to make a bespoke report because a system report was updated without our knowledge and is no longer suitable for our purposes.

Opmerkingen: I have found iSolved to be mostly user friendly during my first year working on the platform. The people behind iSolved enhance the product and make it a better experience. I learn something new each week and that helps the experience as well. I also enjoy the roadshows as a way to network with other users. Please continue the roadshows in 2024.

Pluspunten:

The helpfulness of everyone that works there. If they do not have the answer, they will find someone who does and get me in contact with them.

Minpunten:

[sensitive content hidden] in customer service. I have never had a good experience with him. I have to call back to speak with someone more knowledgeable and friendly. We are also still struggling with some reports and wish there was better ability to write our own reports.

Opmerkingen: Everything with the Isolve staff has been great. They are very hands on and will help you and fix or add things to your platform to make your job easier.

Pluspunten:

They staff is available all the time via phone and email. They also will walk you through what you need help with and tell you what is being done.

Minpunten:

At first Isolve was difficult to maneuver through bit once you keep using it, it becomes easier.

Easy to use but powerful

Opmerkingen: While the price may seem steep, it has a lot of functionality that can save on time spent by in-house employees. For our company, it has definitely paid for itself in my time savings alone. It does take a fair amount of time to set up, but they have an entire team to walk you through the whole process, making it easy.

Pluspunten:

We like the ease of use and fast processing. Previously, we had done payroll entirely in-house. ISolved, however, takes care of nearly everything, freeing me up to perform other functions within the company. It takes care of all tax filings, wage garnishments, direct deposits, PTO tracking, and benefits. Employees can now access all their information on their own, make any needed changes, and print copies of paycheck stubs and W-2s without having to ask me. It is user-friendly and relatively easy to navigate the system. There are a wide variety of available preset reports and, if you can't find what you need, they will create a custom report for you. Calling them gets you a real, friendly person who is usually very helpful.

Minpunten:

Lately, I have had some issues getting a callback. Although calling our Relations Manager usually resolves this issue. And, because it has so many functions, it sometimes takes some looking to find out where they have placed a little-used feature when you want it

Horrible Customer Service

Opmerkingen: The product is fine if you want something mediocre. I have been searching for other payroll companies and found a few that are far much better. I recommend PDS VISTA for an MEO type of employer. I am not an ADP fan, but I believe that would also be much better too. This is not worth the savings in my opinion. Also, iSolved purchase Encore back in July, I believe. Since July, I had been asking for demo's in which i received no response other than a short 2 minute demo on their website. When I was finally contacted by iSolved to switch the product over, they only gave me two weeks to switch. Did not provide any demos because I was told that they will switch me and then train me. The data converted was a mess and the implementation team did absolutely no research on our company. Our date files are a mess and our retirement company still has not received a completed file from iSolved. At this time, I still have not received a demo on the other products I initially asked about. They just switch me over and dropped me.

Pluspunten:

We have multiple companies (multiple FEIN's) and it is nice to have every employee in one spot.

Minpunten:

This product is not the best if you have an MEO with multiple locations with separate bank accounts. The system requires that you run a payroll for every bank account instead of one payroll per company. We were forced onto this software once iSolved bought out Sage Encore. The Encore platform was much easier to use in regards to processing payroll. In Encore, it took me 30 minutes (at the most) to process payroll. On iSolved, it takes me about 3 hours. Employees must have an email to access their paystubs. Customer Service is absolutely horrible. You DO NOT have a dedicated account manager. Your emails/phone calls are sent to a hub to where you are waiting at least 30-45 minutes on the phone or you never receive a response from an email. I have employees who have not received a paycheck, no response from iSolved and no assistance from them either. It is the absolute worst.

Opmerkingen: It's been an adventure, but the rewards and benefits have definitely outweighed any struggles.

Pluspunten:

The customization that is possible with the software was the most attractive aspect. Especially for the cost, this product allows small businesses enjoy the same quality of services that larger fortune 500 organizations.

Minpunten:

There isn't much that I don't like about the software; however, one thing that I would say that has been an issue is the time zone differences between me and available support team members. Especially, if they are based out of the east coast, I find that there is only a 1-2 window to conduct business out of Alaska.

Opmerkingen: We use iSolved to run payroll, manage recruitment and onboarding, open enrollment, benefits administration and other HR data. We love how easy it is for employees to have one login for most of their needs.

Pluspunten:

iSolved allows us to manage so much of our payroll and HR workflows in one program that is easy to use.

Minpunten:

Nothing that I can think of, we like all of the features we currently use.

Opmerkingen: It can make payroll a simple process, but at the same time, it can make payroll reporting a confusing process too.

Pluspunten:

The product is easy to use once you get the hang of it. It is a little redundant sometimes but it's accuracy has been tested too many times, and it always delivers. I like how easy it is to input payroll, and process reports. It is very quick.

Minpunten:

I feel that someone could have a little hard time getting the hang of it when first implemented. All in all it is a very accurate program, it has potential, it's report writer is very powerful, but requires extensive computers knowledge to navigate through the multiple layers of a report.

Best Payroll Experience I have had yet!

Opmerkingen: Overall, we are very satisfied with the software and the customer service that we have received from the software.

Pluspunten:

They have a quick button that allows you to click and easily click and easily add a new hire. Different tabs allow the administrator to know if they are working on an employee, working on the business, working on the setup. The software is robust enough to create and manage all of your employee benefits.

Minpunten:

Learning how to navigate the payroll system took more time than I had experienced with past payroll companies. I had to create my own cheat sheet that was simple, that would have been nice for them to provide for new users.

Best online Payroll Software I have used

Opmerkingen: Overall I love using this software and I have been doing payroll for many years and used many different softwares. This is still my favorite.

Pluspunten:

I love that I can see all my changes in real time. I can view everything that will process before it processes. This allows me to catch any errors ahead of sending the file.

Minpunten:

The customer service is not the best. They have gotten too big is my opinion and there have been some mess ups on their side which have been unprofessional. They do always fix the problems, but I don't think they should have happened in the first place.

I enjoy the timekeeping and payroll parts of this software. I enjoy the ease of use from a manager standpoint and the ability to keep up with time accurately and quickly adjust errors of timecards. The payroll function is great, as we still have overall control but iSolved manages the major processing components of the processing.

Minpunten:

Would like more in depth report functionality and ease of using and finding reports.

What I like most about iSolved is their flexibility to handle every unique employer situation and their continual improvements to make sure they are the total solution for any employer. Human Resource professionals do not have just one hat to wear, no matter what their "assigned" role is within the HR Dept. Or, for those HR Departments of One who literally do it all....how many hats do you wear? Too many to count! iSolved has a multi-faceted solution for just about any situation. They can be as simple or complex as necessary to help you accomplish whatever tracking, reporting, or analysis is needed in your organization. Let iSolved hold some of your hats!!

Minpunten:

When I first began using this software, I will admit that customer support and training was a little lacking. That said, iSolved is continually seeking feedback from clients on what areas are needed for improvement.... and they actually do something with that feedback! They have improved their customer service and training 200% from where it was in 2016. There are tools and resources available even after hours. I don't believe that any software is perfect, which means the support for the software has to be top notch.

Terrible product with terrible protocols

Opmerkingen: As an employee, user of iSolved for payroll, I completely despise this software. It is actually inconvenient in every aspect; iSolved is slow to the point I'm unsure if it is even working, an organization does not exist for users to perform tasks and customer support is not available for non-admin users even when it requires for an error page to be fixed! The product is so slow that even a "quick punch" takes extended moments to complete. If you go further into the program it only gets worse. Try setting up a request for PTO and you are muddled to believe the program didn't notice you pushed a button. oh, wait for it. it is thinking!! Back to requesting PTO/editing absences thinking you've found where it is located to realize the organization is really expressive creativity. "Employee Absences" and "Time Off Requests" are delightful in the fact they are both the same thing but are they really? You can perform one function in both but all other functions are split apart between these tabs pushing you further into a maze of the program. Forget about remembering how you did it the first time. When it comes to requiring to update a password the procedure is completely backward. Changing a password for a payroll system should be done during work hours. However, it is always on a Monday morning when I can't clock in and need to take the time to create a new password forcing me later to have my time card edited. It is possible to send an e-mail out a couple of business days before giving the option to either update it when it's convenient, during work hours! Bringing me to my last complaint that brought me to write a review, Customer Support. I have a great appreciation for customer support centers, they always get the brunt of frustrations and then continue to make sure the customer is satisfied. I feel they are the biggest asset in a company. I completely understand the problems that arise if you let a non-admin user contact customer support as every company has different procedures and that is why you create an admin. However, I am not allowed to contact customer support to clear error messages, my administrator needs to. Even when the program directed me to do exactly that. I am then directed to "take a screen shot of the required information", send it to my admin and have them forward it along. This is extremely inefficient. I will never recommend this product to anyone due to the fact that it is slow, unorganized and inefficient. I am shocked by how much our company is paying for this unprofessional program.

Opmerkingen: I enjoy the product. Support is not what it used to be. I like a personal rep that I can call/email directly, not a "drop box". I wait for answers. Not happy about that at all.

Pluspunten:

Ease of use for employees, management, and administrators.

Minpunten:

Reports are clunky. You have to run two different reports to get information, then you have to make your own report from those two. I should be able to run one single report and filter out information instead of combining two different reports.

Intuitive and Great Customer Service!

Opmerkingen: I am very happy with the customer service; I feel that the system is intuitive, and they are sending out updates all of the time. We use the system for the full employee life cycle.

Pluspunten:

I find that isolved is easy to navigate and the features offered are progressive. My rep is extremely responsive, knowledgeable and friendly.

Minpunten:

My only con, is that we started with a "small company" using the isolved platform. They were sold and we did not have a specific rep for some time. We had wanted the personalized support, however, there was some adjustment but at this point even with a large company I do feel I have that small feeling support again with our rep.

Isolved Saves Time

Opmerkingen: WE moved to Isolved (Infinisource) in 2014 and have had relatively little issues with the service and have saved money. Who doesn't like that!

Pluspunten:

Using Isolved on a daily basis is simple and streamlined. Customer service is always available to assist you if you run into an issue.

Minpunten:

They seem to continually update and I don't have the time to review all the added features.

HORRIBLE PRODUCT

Opmerkingen: DO NOT GO NEAR THIS PRODUCT! We were longtime customers of iSolved, using their Timeforce software for over 10 years. We were regularly assured that we would not be required to upgrade and that our version would be supported for the foreseeable future. On 3/25/19 we received an email stating that our support contract expiring 4/14/19 would not be renewed because our version was no longer supported. They gave us less than one month’s notice. We sent an email to our sales rep the same day, but had to make repeated requests for pricing and a demo because she was unavailable. An initial quote was finally received 4/5/19, but they could not make time for a demo until 4/22/19. We agreed to this, but requested they continue supporting our old version in the meantime because of the short notice and delays. They completely ignored this request, not responding to it at all. During the demo we asked how the new software would handle the things our Timeforce I software was capable of. They were unsure of some of the more complex issues and promised they would check with tech support and get back with us. In the end, it was promised that the new software would be able to meet our needs. We signed a one year contract on 5/1/19. We began to have weekly one-hour phone calls with our implementation specialist; it became apparent that she had no idea what she was doing. Basically, we were never able to use the product but were required to pay for an entire year.

Pluspunten:

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING at all! There was nothing that was useful!

Minpunten:

EVERYTHING....horrible ease of use, make you pay for the product that you have never received, zero customer service...most deplorable service we have ever gotten from a company in 20 years of operation!
