Opmerkingen: Good software, we have 2 offices so it's not the best for them, but for Canadians it's fantastic.

Great, easy to use, easy to set up employees on it

Not great outside of Canada unfortunately

Pluspunten:

Humi is designed to have multiple HR tools all in one place and is easy to use. Real-time instant employee data makes any HR professional look like a pro.

Minpunten:

There is a lack of user configuration in the system is frustrating at times. It would be nice to at least have access to change wording

Buyer Beware

Opmerkingen: The service has gone down dramatically over the past 6 months. Maybe there's been a change in management - don't know. I'm concerned.

Pluspunten:

Regular payroll function is easy to use.

Minpunten:

Not enough functionality - for instance there's no document or notes feature to track commissions. Customer Service is TERRIBLE. I've been going back for over a month to get ROE for terminated employees and 1 agent tells me the ROE's are available to download, after a lengthy process of trying to get someone from Humi to explain to me what the process is, and then a day later another agent emails me that they are not done at all, and the paperwork has to be redone.

Great Canadian Company

Opmerkingen: I think Humi is great and I would recommend it to any Canadian HR professional

Pluspunten:

Time off, document management and onboarding keeps everything in one place allows more time for HR to focus on other tasks and less time on administration

Minpunten:

I find there are some navigation issues sometimes. ie. time off taking you back to the main page when you just want to be in an employee's profile. Surveys also are not the best with the new data as you cannot see separate surveys anymore

Will never go back to Excel HRIS

Basic features to onboard and manage the employee journey backed by a clean and simple interface.

Minpunten:

Data access and reporting need work. I have to do a lot of engineering to manage the business.

Easy-to-use All in One Human Resources Management on the Cloud

Opmerkingen: Overall a great 'starter' HR package for small to medium-sized companies.Very relevant for Canadian corporations.HR is one area that has been left unattended and without cloud-based tech solutions. Humi bridges the gap.Very good price pointEasy and quick to implement

- In some cases, the workflows needed resetting during the implementation- Vacation balance and tracking can be tricky to setup and maintain- Lacks security of more expensive/comprehensive solutions- Difficulty in formatting and setting up reports

Perfect payroll software

Opmerkingen: Really good. A few times I had some questions about locating something and support was easy to connect with to help me

The humi software is relatively easy to navigate. It does take some patience but after a few times logging in and navigating around it’s a pretty easy software to use.

Minpunten:

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like about humi.

not intuitive or flexible for staff who jump roles and hours of work-can be hard to pivot time off policies for employees.

Really easy to set up, and easy to use. Lots of help guides

Minpunten:

Impossible to speak with a Humi on the phone if you have an urgent question. Support tickets usually take 24-48 hours to receive a response

Very User Friendly!

Opmerkingen: Very smooth, customer service is friendly, be sure to use the message feature in Humi though, do not call their phone number. Overall very satisfied with the platform.

Pluspunten:

I love how easy it is to maneuver, as an admin or employee. The onboarding features are very useful and practical, employee overviews are very clear.

Minpunten:

Some bugs regarding calculating/prorating time off. Cannot export performance reviews into an external document.

Humi making HR management a breeze

Opmerkingen: My overall experience with Humi has been amazing from day 1. From the initial demo, to getting everything set up to implementation I had my rep available all the time to hold my hand along the way. Change can be so difficult to implement smoothly in an organization and Humi and their talented staff made this the easiest change we have gone through.

Pluspunten:

Time off feature as well as the document workflows. Also the access that have been given to each employee on their own information. They have the ability to check their own accrual balances, upload documents and update personal information.

Minpunten:

I would love if the documents feature had more capabilities. Examples would be the ability to add additional documents to an existing one (document collection) or the ability to revise an offer by revising the actual document instead of the terms in humi alone.

User friendly; poor reporting

Opmerkingen: Overall, the software is user-friendly and meets our basic needs. We moved payroll to another provider due to errors. Humi has been very focused on developing its scheduling platform and as a result, other improvements and suggestions for feature enhancements have been largely ignored. I am hopefully that they will continue to develop and make the software more efficient.

Pluspunten:

Humi has made a number of improvements to its applicant tracking/recruiting systems and we are satisfied with this program. There could be further improvements to make it more efficient but overall, it works.

Minpunten:

The reporting tools have been very disappointing and not usable in most cases. A basic turnover report with analytics is very important to us and we do not currently have this ability.

It's getting there, good but room for improvement

Opmerkingen: Íts a great little platform, the staff are very approachable and hard working, but you do always have to keep one eye on it re: bugs or employee updates.

Pluspunten:

Ease of use for staff, clean simple layout

Minpunten:

There are just very small but essential developments needed within many of the features. It takes a long time to see them updated/implemented sometimes. For instance, work schedules - the current feature really doesnt work for employees with rotating schedules'. Synchronization is also desperately needed for your MS Teams status when you have leave approved.

Closest thing to an assistant!

Opmerkingen: Overall very user friendly as a platform, helpful for staff to navigate by themselves and easy reporting /custom reporting. Support teams are always helpful and kind!

Pluspunten:

Having multiple products in one place makes it convenient to comply with regulations and get staff set up for success

Minpunten:

Some of the areas that fall in between categories (ex: payroll & benefits; deductions from payroll re: benefits contribution) can be difficult to figure out as the payroll support and benefits support are different people and neither may have the answers you are looking for

Canadian software

Opmerkingen: We are not yet using Humi to its full potential. I'm not 100% confident with recruitment, and we haven't used it for perfomance management yet.

Pluspunten:

I like the fact that this software is Canadian and I don't have to wade through US forms etc. The support team is thorough, patient, and usually gets back to me within 24 hours. It is relatively easy to use, and the person who trained me was definitely a necessary service.

Minpunten:

There are aspects of the software that are not intuitive, which sends me to support for help, but they are relatively quick to get back to me and explain the situation. I've sent several suggestions to improve use, but can't remember what they are at the moment.

Humi - couldn’t do HR without it!

Pluspunten:

My experience with Humi so far has been seamless and enjoyable. We’re a 20 person software startup in the process of doubling our headcount over the next 8 months, so we were looking for something easy to use, but with enough features to support us while we scale. It was important to us that our new employees be impressed with the onboarding flow, since this is their first impression of our company, and this was one of the things that impressed me about Humi the most. The experience for new employees onboarding to the Humi system (and our company) is very sleek. Overall the sales process was quick and easy - some other companies weren’t as efficient and didn’t get straight to the point. And the process of learning the software was easy - I was reassured that I would have a dedicated onboarding specialist, and they did reach out, but I opted to teach myself how to use the system instead. I was able to figure out basically everything on my own, and just had a few final questions for their team before launching the software internally. So far, the response of our existing team has been great. They’ve all started using it to request time off already, and we’re going to start to dabble with the performance and recruiting module very soon. I’ve likely only set up and configured 50% of the full depth of features that are in this product. Excited to explore more.

Minpunten:

I did find one UX issue while creating an approval flow for a time off policy, but that’s to be expected in such a big product. From what I can tell there are hundreds of features. I’ll update my review should I encounter anything else. I also wish the Slack integration had more functionality.

Excellent HR Suite

Pluspunten:

We moved over to Humi to help track our banked time, vacation time and wellness days, as well have a single source for paystubs. Humi has been easy to use for these tasks, and since then we have also used other tools such as performance add-ons. It's easy to use, and great for the employees to track what they need.

Minpunten:

It lacks a bit on the cybersecurity side. It has important data (like SIN numbers), and need to provide more security for this data. It could always be cheaper.

Humi Feedback

Opmerkingen: Onboarding was fairly easy. We find ensuring tasks are marked off of as complete can be a bit tedious.

Pluspunten:

We love the visual of the days off this is great for quick reference and also for reviewing attendance issues with employees.

Minpunten:

We find the review templates a bit convoluted and confusing and because we don't do payroll through the program have to make manual adjustments to days off and wages. Reporting isn't as easy as we had hoped in the quick tutorial/sales pitch we had.

Still too much manual work required

Opmerkingen: It was OK for a short time, we had hopes that investments were being made into the product but nothing has changed over the last year and a half that adds enough value for us to continue using it. Will be switching to a new platform in the new year – probably bamboo.

Pluspunten:

It has some good basic features and pricing was better than other options, unfortunately for a scaling business we need something more robust.

Minpunten:

The reporting dashboard and performance management are the weakest modules, we need to export information in order to pull any meaningful insights. Customer support also not a highlight.

Very Simple and Basic

Pluspunten:

This software is very simple and basic. If your company doesn't not have an HRIS system, this would be a great starter software.

Minpunten:

Once a company gets larger and more complex, Humi will not be able to support the company in its current capacity. Still fairly new and many of their features are still in production.

Humi has been great for us.

Pluspunten:

Humi is easy to use and helps us manage our people resources. We also appreciate that it is a Canadian company.

Minpunten:

We've been using Humi for awhile and there are some quirks that happen in the software. It's still new so it's understandable.
