Pluspunten:

The feature I appreciated the most about Planner 5D was its intuitive user interface, which made it easy for me to create detailed and realistic 3D designs without extensive prior experience.

Minpunten:

One aspect I found somewhat lacking in Planner 5D was the limited range of furniture and decor options available in its library, which occasionally restricted my design possibilities.

Very limted functionality

Opmerkingen: All too often I feel I am working against the tool, instead of with it. This is annoying and time consuming.
If somebody can give me a tip about a better tool, with the functionality I am listing as missing, I will change in a snap.

Pluspunten:

Nice 3d renderings, although hard to zoom in and out.

Minpunten:

1: Buggy. Windows and doors skip around once added to a wall. I often have to put them back in place several times before they stuck. 2: I cannot create a room with irregular ceiling height, with different wall heights. The recommended "solution" using the magic cube is suboptimal, to say the least. If I replace a wall with a magic cube, I cannot add a window without losing the transparency. 3: I tried to create a loft with triangular end walls, which cost me all sorts of trickery and time, with a half-baked result. 4: Setting colors is a pain, because it is impossible to know to which part of an object (e.g. a window) a color square pertains. Trial-and-error is not good enough. Badly needed functionality: 1: Mark a room corner, and change its height, so that the adjacent walls and ceiling follow. 2: Change height of indivdual walls. 3: Make it possible to change size of each side and each edge of the magic cube, not only in the three spacial dimensions like now. 4: Make it possible to snap a door or window into the magich cube without losing the transparency. 5: We need a 'rubber band' grouping of objects, like in PowerPoint. 6: Grouped objects should be movable by arrow, not only ny mouse. 7: We need *menus* for grouping/ungrouping object, and a lot of more things.

Super Helpful for our Zoo Redesign Challenge!

Opmerkingen: Very happy with the capabilities. I have used it for courses, for physical planning purposes and redesign of spaces in the school as well. Love it!

Pluspunten:

Customer service added free educational accounts for us so that we could use it for a zoo redesign challenge for the Minnesota Zoo. They were required to use a 3D design platform, but the free version was too limited so we were given free education licenses. The project was much more sophisticated and realistic as a result of using Planner 5D!

Minpunten:

I wish it allowed the ability to resize without having to change the dimensions manually. I would like to be able to go to the corner of an object or room and increase the scale that way.

Great software replacing old Houzz pro

I love that it’s easy to use and my customers can visualize their renovation.

Opmerkingen: Absolutely awesome [sensitive content hidden] in Customer Service was one of the most awesome customer service people I have ever worked with. Very patient and thorough they did not give up until I was sorted out. I love this app. If you do this for work I would say offer it to your customers to play with their layouts then show them what you can do it would be a powerful tool in that way. Also if you have any questions or concerns I am going to ask for [sensitive content hidden] you should too

Pluspunten:

I love how easy it is to use. I can make my own plans and share those ideas with contractors which is so awesome. I get to decide what I want to do myself and what I want to hire out for. I also get to see what’s feasible in my space before asking for the impossible.

Minpunten:

I had a few glitches in the beginning but customer service was PHENOMENAL and sorted me out immediately. No cons for me. Maybe they could add pricing but that fluctuates so much based on market and date.

Quality Learning Tool

Opmerkingen: Company was great and wonderful to work with in getting my students educational seat options.

Pluspunten:

Students love the renderings and exploring features in 3d designs.

Minpunten:

So far there hasn't been anything that we haven't like about 5D.

Planner 5D has structures that helps share numerous designs with customers for unique structures.

Planner 5D has an imperative design control, and it saves businesses from extreme costs.

Amazing program!

Opmerkingen: Overall I had really love my experience as a new planner and my professor absolutely loved this site as well. I plan to use it even for fun afterwards since its so entertaining.

Pluspunten:

I liked the straightforward instructions and the quick help. Its also the first planner that I find so easy and nice to use as well that is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Minpunten:

I would wish for the feature that changes the size to not be premium. Its the only thing that I had found so far a little annoying.

Opmerkingen: Good, but not perfect, like any software in these developing days.

Pluspunten:

Easy - to - use and very large catagory of 'things' that you can use.

Minpunten:

You have to get premium for you to be able to use the entire range of furniture as an example. The pricing is a bit sneaky.

No need to pay to a third party

Opmerkingen: Good experience because it's easy to use. We don't get too much frustrated.

Easy to use, we don'tt need to pay to someone to do a interior project. Lot's of tutorial on Youtube

The use of the 5D planner in the school classroom opens the students to the professions of the futur

Opmerkingen: Planner5D inspires wonder among students. We integrate it into multidisciplinary learning, and it allows the integration of students in heterogeneous groups, and providing a broad response to the diversity among students

Pluspunten:

The use of the software is intuitive. Even students learning English as a second language find the way to enhance their creativity

Minpunten:

It is not possible to search for a project in the projects folder

I used Planner 5D to design my living room and bedroom. Very helpful for visualizing the best furniture pieces and making sure that everything looks nice!

Minpunten:

I would have preferred a 1-2 month subscription for my short project, rather than a full year.

5d Planner

Opmerkingen: 5d planner is very useful and even if the app has some limitations, the support team is very helpful and are quick to respond to the app issues.

Pluspunten:

I appreciate the ability to upload textures to give more realistic renderings of the rooms I am creating. My clients appreciate that I can try-on different looks and colours and helps them visualize a pretty 3D version of their space.

Minpunten:

The items (furnishings) in the catalogue can be updated more frequently to be current with design trends. Also I have experienced some recurring bugs with modifying furniture details such as colour and sizing, for which I escalated. And I look forward if 5d planner provides diagonal layouts in their construction features, to allow for diagonal wall panelling.

There is an ease of use for this system. I love the drag and drop capabilities with plans and it makes rendering easy.

So far none but will come back if I ever do!

Great customer service! & App

Pluspunten:

I used it to design my family's renovation project. It gave us great flexibility and I love being able to play with the 2d and 3d views! Very easy to use especially for someone who's not familiar with these types of design apps. The customer service was seriously phenomenal when I had an issue!

Minpunten:

I do wish they had more selections for furniture/cabinets/etc. or customizable by color

Not a pro

Opmerkingen: Extremely happy- I love the design battles. I can’t wait for Sunday nights when a new one comes out. I look forward to it all week and appreciate the ability to develop my design skills further.

Pluspunten:

I have enjoyed Planner 5D because for a novice like myself it’s been easy to learn, has great features and there are updates and new items added in often, the items provided are contemporary but also have range for difference in styles. I’m impressed that you can scan in a room and design it- this is something I’ve needed all my life for when I move, absolute game changer. Overall, it’s a great product and the customer service department has been quick and great to give answers/ solutions.

Minpunten:

There are a few bugs to be fixed but they fix it relatively quickly and are happy to take the advice. Speaking with a customer service rep is easy and friendly.

Planner 5D is a great software that gives me a lot of flexibility in designing and integrating an architectural plan. I would highly recommend it.

what I liked least about it was the time it took for me to understand it but then after a while you get the hang of it

Great product

Opmerkingen: I really like it so far and how to continue to use it to create all my floor plans

Pluspunten:

I like that you can upload a floor plan. I also like that you can easily create 3d models and switch back and forth. its very intuitive and easy to use.

Minpunten:

The free trial could be longer or for businesses there should be a 2 week trial to make sure the value of the product matches since its 399.99 for commercial use and only 59.99 for individual.

Easy and fast to use

Opmerkingen: My personal experience by now is really enjoyable and overall a good and fluid experience, wuold reccomand it

The best part about this product is definitely the 3D rendering that can provide a lot of value to the service that i offer to my client.A product that i would for sure use and abuse to give tons of value and be different from other real estate agent.

There's no a particular part that i don't like the most, it would came out after hours and hours of usage but for the first 10hrs everything is perfect and easy to use
