very useful

Opmerkingen: I've been using it for almost a year now and I have no doubt that I will renew one more year. It has helped me a lot automating bookings and emails related to these bookings.

Pluspunten:

I like most that it was so easy and nice to work with it. It provides your own website for your customers to make their bookings with you. You can even customize it a little bit, just enough to fit your brand colours but still look clear and easy to use. You can customize the emails that are automatically sent to people who book appointments. A Zoom link is automatically created in case you are organizing a videocall and is also automatically sent to your clients. I love that this app automates so many tedious processes.

Minpunten:

something I do not appreciate is that I cannot sell a number of appointments with a discount, for instance I would like to offer 1 class at X euros and 5 classes offering a discount in price. YouCanBookMe does not offer this option; instead, clients must book (and pay) 5 independent classes with me. That would be a lovely addition to its features.

Reliable product

Opmerkingen: So far my experience has been strong. The system sets up rather quickly and easily. I have experienced a few issues but have been able to correct them quickly. Getting technical support can be a little slow. I have not found a phone number or messaging means to communicate with technical support.

Pluspunten:

It works well with my Google calendar and Gmail.

Minpunten:

I cannot seem to understand how to use the tools to do more marketing automation. I would like to send more schedule reminders. One email and one SMS.

Great product; support is getting worse and worse

Lots of customization options, with white label options to customize the workflows for our client bookings.

Minpunten:

Recently the support is always busy, and they always take days to WEEKS to reply our emails. Just today our integration broke, it's a bug on their side due to a parameter they changed, and there is no urgent help line support, no way to get back to them and support via email is just too slow.

Useful scheduling program

For years I've been requesting the option to show a calendar-view and hide all booked slots. Instead of that, we get a list of open slots. This isn't a con per se. It isn't exactly what I wanted either but close enough.

No real issues at all at this point. I find it integrates into my business nicely.

Optimal Organization

Opmerkingen: It's been much more productive since I began paying for the basic service. I am a small business, and the minimal add-ons suit me well.

Pluspunten:

Easy use of a link to connect to my calendar. No phone tag or email threads to figure out a convenient time/date to meet. I can set up four different types of appointments for different durations to meet the needs of the various work I do.

Minpunten:

Clients that don't use the same calendar that I do (google) often have difficulty finding the invitation.

This has been an amazing product for taking the hassle out of scheduling.

Opmerkingen: So far it's been great. I've been using it for about 3.5 years with no problems. It does everything I ask of it.

Pluspunten:

I love that it allows me to set custom times and meeting types in my calendar. I can limit some scheduling times to virtual, some to in person, and clients and prospects can book the type of meeting that is most appropriate for their needs.

Minpunten:

Learning how to set this product up was not super intuitive. I'm not sure I would have figured it out on my own. However, the team at You Can Book Me took me through a great orientation and was extremely helpful when it came to customizing the product for my needs.

Save yourself some time

All About Adaptability

Opmerkingen: I have had a great experience and have recommended this software to colleagues.

Pluspunten:

Appointment scheduling has never been easier. I can sync multiple calendars (Outlook, Google, and Apple) at once, as well as have the flexibility to create multiple booking pages to fit my course and project scheduling needs. Having the flexibility to do so has been critical, especially when we went fully online last year. The other feature that I enjoy is the customization features. From sending email reminders and personalized follow up messages, scheduling has never been easier. This software adapts to your needs.

Minpunten:

At the beginning I used a free version of the software. When I switched to the paid version, it was hard to sync my "free" scheduling page with the paid version because I couldn't locate my password or the email I used to create my original booking page. It took a little work to figure out how to receive support but I was able to get the help I needed through one of the forums. I posted my inquiry and someone from YouCanBook.me reached out to me within 24 hours to support me directly.

YouCanBookMe online calendar is a must for my business

Opmerkingen: Having used YouCanBookMe for almost four years now, it is so easy for me to add my personal calendar link in an email message or to a web site so that people can schedule themselves. So much is being done online now and people are both accustomed to these kinds of tools and many prefer them, so having affordable access to such a capability helps me tremendously in conducting business. I have had some trial and error with simply not knowing I needed to put certain custom fields in the body of a message I have designed (for instance, the ability to cancel or reschedule right from the confirmation email). But that was very easy to figure out and change. Overall, this is a must-have for the work I do. I have not tried any other similar products because once I started using this I did not want to even think about replicating my design and functionality somewhere else. And the price has always been right.

Pluspunten:

If you are looking for a way for customers, clients, prospects...anyone, really, to hop on your calendar without the back and forth of trying to figure out when each of you is free, an automated online tool like YouCanBookMe is a bonus. It is very modestly priced, especially for the flexibility one has in setting it up with multiple features. I like that as long as I keep my Google calendar up to date, I can count on not having time conflicts. I like that I can give schedulers choices of different services to book and that I can customize the screen separately for each service. I also like the ability to duplicate a setup to create a new service to be scheduled without having to start from scratch.

Minpunten:

I wish it was a little easier to design how the output screen looks after detailing what questions a user is to answer in order to schedule an appointment. I have often wanted to move things around a bit, add spacing and divisions between page content, and even make some small specification about what a finished confirmation email might look like. You could say that the page forms need to be made to look more modern and place some emphasis on design elements.

Great for Letting Others Schedule Your Time

Opmerkingen: Overall it was an effective application. I was able to find some workarounds or mess with how I created my blocks of time to best match my schools schedule. Teachers found it simple as an enduser to book time with me. Beats keeping track of everything yourself!

Pluspunten:

Love the layout and design with this application. Nice modern and sleek templates. I am able to create a schedule, customize colors and layout design, and then share a link out with others to be able to book times with me. There are some settings customization options that help. For me, I used YouCanBookMe so that teachers can schedule meeting times with me without the need to go back and forth through email. Love that it syncs to Google Calendar that way I can stay on top of everything via my mobile phone.

Minpunten:

This was a deciding factor for me. Unfortunately, being in the school setting, you have to pay a little price to get some better customizing features. One of which is the ability to create a truly custom schedule that isn't every 15/30/45/or 60 mins. For me, class periods are not equal time frame. I also need the ability to build in hall time, which isn't possible unless I pay for all of the premium features. I wish this was something that was offered to begin with.

What admin pains?

Opmerkingen: When I got my virtual assistant, I didn't have much typical things for them to do because YCBM already did it alllllll. So we could instead work on upping the actual services than the admin stuff.

Pluspunten:

It was a pleasure to configure my booking system along with what happens after for reminders, notices, and if-then workflows... and then how I connect it with Zapier? I used the word PLEASURE, bubu! The saving feature is intuitive, the interface is so smooth and comforting. And teal is my favorite color.

Minpunten:

Not enough Zapier connections. They're working on it!

Why I Use (and stick with) YouCanBookMe

Opmerkingen: I have used YouCanBookMe for almost two years now. Other than the comment in the "Cons" section, I have not had any issue at all with this software. Almost every person I have interviewed has stated how nice it was to use that system (almost 400 interviews in the last two years). There are other schedulers out there...but I'm staying with this system. It has proven to be 100% reliable for what I am trying to do in my business.

Pluspunten:

Ease of use... Customizable scheduler... Integrates with my personal calendar... Eliminates the dreaded "email tag" game that can happen.

Minpunten:

In the rare instance when I have to try and reschedule an interview (I use this system to schedule radio interviews), I find I have to actually "Cancel" the interview and ask the other person to reschedule... I wish there was a way I could offer a "rescheduled" appointment from my end instead of asking the client to do so from their end.

Book Your Clients Through YouCanBookMe

Opmerkingen: Overall, we had a very great experience with YouCanBookMe. It helped us run our business seamlessly until we outgrew it. We used it for more than 3 years.

Pluspunten:

YouCanBookMe was very easy to set up and use. We had a team of about 50 CSR's, and all of us used this system to book appointments with Realtors, Loan Officers, Insurance Agents. etc. The booking system updates very fast. ie. If another rep books a client for a specific timeslot, the software will pick that up immediately and block out the timeslot to prevent double bookings.

Minpunten:

Our team outgrew YouCanBookMe. We need additional features that were limited on the software. We wanted more flexibility in the time while setting up timeslots, but it was not an option at the moment.

The Day My Business Went Professional!

Pluspunten:

The user-friendly interface, the ability to integrate onto my website, the aesthetic appeal, the functionality, the seamless integration with calendars like Google and the ease in which one can change, reschedule and cancel appointments without missing a beat.

Minpunten:

Probably the change to the new platform where I can no longer change the button text. I'm not entirely sold on the new interface in the back end. Oh yes, I would appreciate if the calendar profiles on the dashboard were able to be arranged in some order either folders or alphabetical or as they're opened. It was easier the older way. I am under-utilising all the features I'm sure but I certainly get my money's worth with what I do with it.

Works well in a variety of appointment booking uses for our business

Opmerkingen: It has been reliable over the many years we've used it. We've expanded its use this year in other services we offer with slightly different business rules and its fit well.

Pluspunten:

It has a pretty good visual workflow editor to setup steps of approval/rejection and alternate paths that the client can follow.

Minpunten:

I would like an option to make some of the booking calendars view only, but I haven't been able to find that. Also, it appears that it only works with Stripe as payment processor if you are handling payment in-app. I've opened a Stripe account for that usage, but it would have been nice to be able to use other payment processors like Paypal.

One of the best (free) tools for calendar / appointment management!

Pluspunten:

Overall, their free version of the software fits my work needs perfectly. I was able to set up all I needs -- appointment length, email notification text, blocked times, how the pages were structured, even API/custom field integration so i could pull in ticket IDs from our help desk software to maintain and organize my remote session appointments!

Minpunten:

I can't say there are too many negatives, I would like to see some more choices for the theming and the ability to allow the user to customize the length of the session, but I know these are paid features, which our company may adopt over time. Overall, it's the best appointment setup app I could find.

A wonderful booking management software

Opmerkingen: I was pleased with my overall experience and I would recommend Youcanbook.me.
The easy integration with multiple third parties was very convenient.
We improved our overall appointment and scheduling process by using this software.
There are a few minor cons however they don't have a major impact on the product.

Pluspunten:

Youcanbook.me is easy to use in most aspects and provides a pleasant experience for our clients. Integration with our Google calender is seamless. Appointments link directly to your calender however clients only see what you provide access to. Youcanbook.me accommodates businesses who need to schedule for more than one person or event. Integrate zoom meetings in a few simple steps. I did not experience any technical issues while using Youcanbook.me.

Minpunten:

At first I struggled to use the software effectively and realize all of its potential benefits. Youcanbook.me seemed more tailored towards the booking aspect vs the calender and scheduling aspects. For some this may be favorable however it was not for us. The price is a bit high, however it is acceptable.
