A Solid Company to Back Your Project

Opmerkingen: We originally used Square 9 to do health screening for COVID. When that proved easy and helpful, we moved our cloud storage to Square 9. We've recently had them build an online application for us. It hasn't been put to use yet, but it will be soon. We've like the experience with them so much that when another project came up recently (a form filler), we immediately reached out to see if they could assist us. I can't say enough good things about Square 9.

Pluspunten:

I particularly like the people involved. The process of implementing your project is very streamlined. Communication is outstanding. I felt very confident in the projects/products we have implemented because the people we dealt with - every step of the way - had it together. I feel like the support behind the products are invaluable.

Minpunten:

Honestly, it can be a bit intimidating. There's a lot of functionality that the user can access and play around with. Square 9 does offer a lot of resources to try and help you navigate it, but it still can be a lot to process.

Unusable at scale

Opmerkingen: Cocky and conceded staff, poorly written code, support unable to provide help for the simplest things.

Pluspunten:

User friendly enough for people with low computer literacy skills.

Minpunten:

No automatic cleanup options. File bloat is unmanageable. can only select 22~ docs ever minute. Max of 1,000 at a time. On own virtual server with 12gb ram. Support only suggestion add more ram, at 24gb sever is using under 30% but still move as slow and crashes when tiring to delete more than 1,000 docs at a time. If you buy this product be prepared to dump unlimited storage space to it.

Great product and Customer Service

The kickoff team was great at was helpful and informative when we reached out to them.

Minpunten:

We passed our project time window but did not receive a warning we were at the end of the project time frame. Reaching out a week before with a red flag would have been great. We ended up expanding the project and addressed any lingering issues at that time.

Square 9 really does help!

Well, there was a 32 page SoW to dig through. But, it was very thorough.

Contract Management Made Easy

Pluspunten:

When it works, it works. We have been using this product for a few years now and it helps keep everything organized and easily searchable. Users can move / edit / export with ease. Ties right in with our AD for users and security permissions. Makes it easily manageable from an IT perspective.

Minpunten:

Set up and some modifications can be a bit daunting, but with the help of Square 9's support team it usually ends up being not so bad.

Great Document Management System

Pluspunten:

We are currently working with Square9 on creating workflows to automate the flow of documents. Currently, it fits our needs without breaking the bank, but it looks like there is a lot of untapped potential in the system that we are currently working towards taking advantage of.

Minpunten:

As with most document management systems, there is a learning curve. Fortunately there is free training included that lays the groundwork for using the system.

Lack of logs to investigate issues and I have to go through a reseller as we are currently not an SQ9 partner

There are many aspects that I like. Uploading documents is very simple when you design the program how you need it.

Minpunten:

I found that with integration of the software/process could have gone more smoothly. Explained better for those that really don't understand the software/electronic side of records management yet.

Like the ability to get rid of all the filing cabinets and keep them gone.

Minpunten:

Takes a little use to getting to all the options that are available for settings and security.

Square9 a Huge Time-Saver

Opmerkingen: Square 9 allows us to easily access our accounts payable checks and accompanying invoices. This has saved so much time in filing and retrieval efforts. And time is money. It allows multiple users to access the information at the click of a button.

Despite having the functionality to remove idle users, it never seems to work correctly. The cloud version is not quite as user-friendly as the original network version.

We love Square 9

Opmerkingen: The quality of the product and the price point doesn't even compete with other options we looked at.

Pluspunten:

The workflow for AP invoices and the document imaging storage is a lifesaver at our company. We process dozens of invoices daily, and automating the process through Square 9 is crucial to the efficiency at which we operate.

Minpunten:

I am least satisfied with the speed at which my documents export. It doesn't take that long, but to import a batch of invoices to be processed typically takes one minute to populate in an Excel sheet.

Excellent Product

Opmerkingen: Overall Square9 has made an enormous positive impact on our organization and we are very happy with the decision to use their products.

Pluspunten:

The best part of Square9 is the visibility and fast access to documents, both in process and archived.

Minpunten:

The worst part of Square9 is that we are not completely reliant on it for our Accounts Payable processing, so when the system stops working, our entire ability to move forward with processing and paying invoices is held up until it is fixed. Fixes for those urgent problems do not happen as quickly as we need them done.

At the tip of your fingers

Opmerkingen: Overall we have had a great experience. We have to save 40 years worth of information and this frees up a lot of real estate

The ease of accessing files that we would otherwise have to look thru files drawers for.

Integration when purchasing a new scanner was not all that easy

Square is readily accessible. This is essential b/c I use it everyday.

Minpunten:

I really can't think of an issue that I dislike.

Document Storage

Opmerkingen: Overall ok, a little complicated but ok.

Pluspunten:

It is easy to use and allows for all our staff to have one location to gather our documents.

Minpunten:

The set up, it took a lot of time to work through identifying everything that was needed and getting everyone on the same page.

Great and easy tool to use.

Opmerkingen: We are storing all of our legal documents, tax returns, account payable checks, journal entries, ACH/Wire documents and a few other random documents. We have security in place but storing them here allows our other divisions to view these items and eliminate the need for copies stored at their site.

Pluspunten:

I like how easy it is for users to use. Very little training is necessary. Accounting was skeptical but I believe they love it now.

Minpunten:

Sometimes the template and workflow creation can be tricking. There is so much you can do but the online training only dives in so deep.

Easy to use and administrate

Opmerkingen: Have been using this product for 20+ years. Since it was Fortis, then SmartSearch, to GlobalSearch, and for every transition the S9 team has been a great asset to making the change go smoothly

So easy to maintain and for users to use the product. Great and quick customer support when there ever is a problem (rarely)

There are so many features that i can't think of any cons

Easy to customize for specific needs

Opmerkingen: Square 9 assisted our company with going paperless with electronic approvals for all AP. We have employees who work in different locations, and this has helped greatly.

Pluspunten:

We had a lot of customization requests for our business needs. The original set up process was successful, and as we used the product adaptations were easily made.

Minpunten:

The one drawback to Square 9 is the delay in downloading. It seems to lag a bit at times.

amazing database

Opmerkingen: working with it for years only need support assistance twice and they were available immediately and resolved the issue on the spot.

Square 9 for "Windows"

Opmerkingen: Square 9 has helped our business get more organized and secure. We have several sales people with traveling computers and Square 9 has created a hub for all our order document s and invoices.

Pluspunten:

Square 9, for our window company, helps keep documents flowing and accessible for all sales people. Order documents and invoices can be found easily and minimize the need for accounting folks to help with the simple everyday tasks.

Minpunten:

Can be hard to find things at the beginning.

Great value

Pluspunten:

It is next to impossible to find an equitable solution for a similar cost. They price very appropriately for what you get.

Minpunten:

Standard headaches that you could get with any number of platforms. Things happen, stuff may not be configured correctly, etc. I wish it were more intuitive and modernized, but that sounds like something that's in the works anyways so we'll see how that turns out.

I like how easy it is to enter my documents into the system and that I can quickly locate a document when necessary.

I do not have any complaints at this time.
