Prima Applicatie, beschikbaar voor het opslaan en transporteren van bestanden.

Minpunten zijn dat het bepaalde documenten uitsluit.

Leuk concept, verder dan dat niet.

Opmerkingen: Ik gebruik Onedrive voornamelijk voor Word. Voor wat voor reden dan ook weigert Onedrive goed te synchroniseren en ben daardoor heel wat bestanden verloren. Zelfs al probeer ik de stappen te doorlopen om alles goed in te stellen krijg ik niet het gewenste resultaat. Onedrive blijft moeilijk doen en geeft mij geen handvaten over hoe de foutmelding moet oplossen. De suggesties die worden geboden hebben totaal geen enkel nuttige effect. Mijn oplossing is daardoor om Onedrive in zijn geheel te verwijderen. Onedrive mag duidelijker en concreter aangeven waarom iets wel of niet werkt. Het zou niet moeten zijn dat ik moet raden en zwemmen tot dat ik eindelijk er achter ben gekomen wat een mogelijke oplossing zou kunnen zijn. De foutmeldingen moeten een concrete oplossing bieden om het probleem te verhelpen. Iets wat nu niet het geval is.

Pluspunten:

Ik heb zelf geen positieve punten te benoemen voor deze software.

Minpunten:

slechte synchronisatie, waardeloze oplossingen voor foutmeldingen, suggestieve oplossingen die niet helpend zijn. In het algemeen niet gebruiksvriendelijk.

Cloudopslag met Onedrive

Pluspunten:

Onedrive heeft een goede integratie met de andere Office producten. Kan goed gebruikt worden om grotere bestanden per email te versturen.

Minpunten:

De grootste nadeel is dat je een aparte map heb voor de onedrive bestanden

Pluspunten:

OneDrive heeft een ruime opslagruimte en een betaalbaar abonnement-periode.

Minpunten:

Je moet veel oude foto's verwijderen om opslagruimte te creeeren, want veel tijd in beslag neemt.

Good option for cloud storage

Opmerkingen: I really like using cloud storage service because the easy access to my files and data, also can be protected with password for sharing purpose. The uploading and downloading speed is pretty fast depending to my internet connection stability. Overall, it has a good value for money spend here.

Pluspunten:

Working with OneDrive with Microsoft Office 365 is really amazing as i can saves my Office document directly to my OneDrive cloud folder without having to save it manually on the OneDrive platform. This software has its own application for mobile and computer that is working on the background, and it will automatically save a backup file for all the new file saves on my computer.

Minpunten:

There are no option to recovering for older version that has been updated/overwritten for my file and document. The premium plan should include this option as the premium plan has much larger cloud space that can hold or archiving the old document easily.

A wonderful tool to achieve tasks

Opmerkingen: As translator and trainer my experience with One Drive be described as fruitful and effective experience in achieving tasks. By one Drive I can control who has access to file sent specifically in privacy and questions of payment in advance.

Pluspunten:

The easiness of use One Drive is so simple, has a lot of facilities specifically in file sharing, backup recovery and accessibility.

Minpunten:

Direct downloading in mobile App because it needs many steps. Permission alert in storing data transferred by Microsoft Teams . Editing videos to be shared after editing on social media.

Old and clumsy

Opmerkingen: It's like an old car your father bought back in 1999 - it still drives but lacks the comfort and features of the 21st century. One example for all - In a folder I had five 20-second videos and wanted to check which can be deleted and which kept. Clicking on a video a very slow download starts. After a minute or so the video player opens but the video can't be played. You have to close the player, click on the video that was downloaded and run it again. Then I want to delete it, so I close the player and press Delete. A message pops up that the file is still in use. You have to wait. Opening/deleting more videos ends up in "Please wait your file is beeing downloaded" and you just have to wait and wait and hope it does something. After 5 minutes of nothing I try to force to close the progress window.

Pluspunten:

It's well embedded to the MS ecosystem thus making handling, sharing and storing easier.

Minpunten:

- Slow reaction and slow download speeds- poor UX/UI- lot of small bugs which make the experience a nightmare

Online file modification and storage facilities on the cloud is so smooth and helpful.

Opmerkingen: Comparatively, OnceDrive Integration with Office apps makes my daily operation so smooth.

Pluspunten:

In addition to sharing files and folders, our team can also collaborate in real time on a single document. Due to this, our team frequently uses OneDrive when working remotely.As a OneDrive user, I focused on my task and the security was handled by the service provider. Two-factor authentication and files encryption is the awesome features.

Minpunten:

Automated identification and deletion of duplicate files must be introduced for smoother operation. Compared to other platforms, it has less sharing choices.

The Best Online Personal Storage

Opmerkingen: OneDrive helps me to store all my learning or instructional materials of my daily class. Also, I can store and share files with my students easily hassle free.

Pluspunten:

One Drive has a huge amount of storage where you don't need to worry if you have lots of files. Moreover, you can easily access it on your phone using the internet. The app is also available in Play Store which is all free.

Minpunten:

There's nothing least I could say about the app. It's very effective and useful in our daily lives, especially as a teacher.

Onedrive can be a lifesaver!!

It holds so much data, storage is great. It's easy to use & control program. Saves time & money. Great information protection against data lose!

If you don't use it regularly everyday & updated, it can be a but tedious when doing a backup.

Cloud storage convenience

Opmerkingen: All in all, personally I like it’s flexibility and it’s ability to link to other Microsoft applications

One of the most impactful design of one drive is the ease of use and flexibility. One does not need extra skill or training to get used to it .My company has found it useful not only to IT staffs but to all staffs .

Minpunten:

One of the limitations I have faced personally is the pricing for the office use ..and the fact that not many offices are using it yet

Sharable in real time.

Opmerkingen: Exciting. It was refreshing to learn this software because of the added features it has compared to the traditional software we utilized.

Pluspunten:

I love that the files created and stored for all users given access have the ability to see real time changes. Mind blowing. Also, permissions can be set as to how much access users have.

Minpunten:

The cost of the software after the initial free storage is used.

Amazing and easy to use

Pluspunten:

I liked how easy it is to use and to train others to use it. It's so easy to collaborate on projects with others and to share them from one team member to another.

Minpunten:

There really wasn't anything that I didn't like about One Drive, the only thing is I should have suggested it sooner then we could have been using it a lot longer, and our work would have been easier.

The only storage you'll need

I love how I can save anything and everything and it will all be right where I left it or uploaded it to.

Minpunten:

I wish I didn't have to pay for it honestly or wish it gave more of a start out for people who save everything.

OneDrive for Business : great sharing tool, but still needs some features to become #1

Opmerkingen: OneDrive for Business use has been a trial and error or work-in-progress product for our internal usage. Some iOS apps like Dictate+Connect and GoodReader do not offer built-in OneDrive for Business support to import or export some content, even though the OneDrive consumer version was possible. Having two versions of same product created confusion and frustration that led us put on hold the widespread use of OneDrive on our mobile iOS clients. Sharing files with external partners was brought back to Dropbox Business for larger commitees that couldn't easily handle the added steps for authentication.

Pluspunten:

What we like about OneDrive for Business is obviously its tight integration with the Microsoft ecosystem. Sharing Microsoft Word and Excel documents with colleagues is now seamless and best of all, is the automatic saving and versioning! Makes backups less a necessity. Also the quality of the iOS OneDrive application is a great value for our mobile users. Integration with other key apps that our users have on their iPhone or iPad is a real advantage for efficiently transferring files.

Minpunten:

Some of the features that are added might be less refined with our French-Canadian language localised Windows workstations. For example, the Folder redirection of Desktop function puts a "Desktop" folder in the OneDrive account instead of the "Bureau" that is usually found on the local Windows computer. Therefore using the Desktop button in the standard save/open file dialog is a bit confusing. Also, the fact that Guests cannot have a OneDrive account to access shared files and folders like Dropbox brings some added steps (security codes) to give access to shared folders.

Very impressive cloud storage

Opmerkingen: We use every day for our staff to have cloud storage for all of our documents, and we can share files back and forth with ease. OneDrive lets us work from most anywhere.

Pluspunten:

I love that OneDrive is rock solid and very easy to use. Also, unlike Google, Microsoft keeps products around. Instead of dropping applications and products, they simply update and upgrade them.

Minpunten:

Sometimes the app will fail to load or take a while to sync on MacOS, but for the most part it’s super solid.

Easy to use once you get your head around it

Opmerkingen: I used to hate Sharepoint, but now it's all moved into OneDrive I've realised I can work faster and smarter with this and the online Office365 tools, keep the licence costs low, and collaborate with pretty much anyone on the planet, as well as having all my files safely backed up at all times. Once you get your head around it, you forget how amazing it all is, and take it for granted.

Pluspunten:

I love the fact that once set up backups just happen and you don't need to even think about it, if your PC goes pop, it's not going to be a problem as everything is in the cloud.For document storage, file sharing and document collaboration Microsoft have finally caught up with Google, and it all works fairly seamlessly with the Office365 set of tools.

Minpunten:

It can cause confusion between a file being on your local PC, in the cloud, or in both, or moving from a local folder to the cloud and therefore into the OneDrive folder, which can make it difficult to explain to new users of OneDrive. But if set up correctly at first it just works very well generally.

Essential especially to backup work files.

Opmerkingen: My Microsoft 365 account included OneDrive, which was an excellent complement to the other software. To enter my files, I don't need to signed in to another service. It allows me to view my files from either computer or a smart device at any time at a low cost. The file structure is close to that of most personal computers, and it makes it simple for me to handle files, whether I'm copying, transferring, or changing their names. Even my massive drawing files open quickly and easily, allowing me to operate on quickly.

Pluspunten:

OneDrive allows me to keep files on the cloud and retrieve them from whatever device, even when I'm not at the workplace. This comes in handy when I need to share files from my smartphone on social media, particularly on pages that are only available on mobile devices. I have a powerful CPU with plenty of storage, but I often build massive illustration and digital images that would start filling it if I do not have backup storage.

Minpunten:

It's nice to have my files with me everywhere I go, but each time I open a file, a copy is saved on my laptop. Until I uninstall it, this will gradually take up precious storage space. I didn't know it until my CPU was clogged with redundant files that took up a lot of bandwidth. It took me some time to find a way out how to safely clear the storage space.

Great product

Opmerkingen: Excellent. Copies Documents and pictures between my iPhone and PC. Organized the My Documents folder to sync. Have had a few issues with My Pictures and syncing from the iPhone. Think I need to enable background application operations or some sort of tweak to better sync over from my iPhone.

Pluspunten:

Syncs all documents to my Windows 10 machine from my iPhone. Easy to securely register devices with SMS Texts, e-mails with codes, and the MS Authenticator app.

Minpunten:

Have had a few issues with photos from the iPhone. Likely a fluke or settings tweak needed. Seems like syncs from the iPhone are a little off at the moment. Everything from my PC ports over directly.

Bobby's OneDrive Review

Opmerkingen: We were worried about switching from Google to OneDrive at first, but glad we did. The whole Microsoft package turned out to be an amazing decision on switching over.

Pluspunten:

The simplicity of use. OneDrive wasn't hard to setup at all.

Minpunten:

I can't really think of anything I don't like, except maybe how when I setup my OneDrive this last time, it has a business and personal drive. I don't use the personal drive and can't seem to get rid of it. I'm sure if I contacted customer support, they could help. But it's not that big of a deal.

One Drive review

Opmerkingen: It has solved a big problem for our firm currently. I would like to see the service becoming better but I am satisfied with the product currently

Pluspunten:

We are to push the auto sync of data through to all our employees. Helps backup critical data of all users and avoids any inadvertent loss. It also ensures productivity is not lost.

Minpunten:

It slows the systems and sucks the bandwidth. I would like it to be more seamless. Sync schedule can be automatic by learning the user usage patterns and setting up at a time when the usage is low.

Very Good Collaboration Tool

Opmerkingen: We tend to share files with Volunteers who are working with staff, this provided an easy way to share the files and also ensure that the most current is the one everyone is working from. Very easy for non technical people to learn and get up to speed on.

Pluspunten:

Gives us the ability to share files across the organization both internally and externally. Since we are an Microsoft shop, it also integrates well into our other tools. We also use SharePoint but this is a easier file sharing tool that is easier for all to pick up.

Minpunten:

Ownership of the file remains with the individual as opposed to anyone. Access tends to be restricted until invites or links are sent.

OneDrive For Business - Works okay, can be buggy

Pluspunten:

Most of our end users use this product in our environment. I like the ability to synchronize SharePoint team sites / document libraries. It eliminates the need to have to open a browser to look at files that are hosted out on SharePoint. By using this App, it makes uploading / deleting / renaming files easier than having to do it through the browser as well. If you haven't used OneDrive or OneDrive For Business before, it works much like Dropbox / Google Drive, so anyone who has used either of these other products in the past will be familiar with how to use OneDrive.

Minpunten:

Probably my two biggest complaints / cons with OneDrive are this: 1.) There are separate Apps for OneDrive / OneDrive For Business. I think one unified app would make this better, but for now, I guess we are stuck with two. The only benefit to this, at least in our environment, is that since we have an external SharePoint (hosted with Office 365) and an internal SharePoint which is hosted on premises, it is easier to have users use OneDrive for Office 365 and OneDrive For Business for our internal SharePoint. The other pain is that the software can be buggy. People will have problems with files / folders synchronizing and the error messages that pop up are very vague, most of the time, the only troubleshooting step is to stop synching the libraries and resync them. It does seem to work better now that we have upgraded to SharePoint 2016 and Windows 10 / Office 2016. If you are thinking of implementing this in your environment, be sure to read the list of acceptable file names, characters, etc. as our users have had issues because they are using unsupported characters in file names, causing synch issues.
