I'm Mental for Mentorloop

Pluspunten:

It enabled our company to evolve our already existing Mentor Program and take to a whole new level with Mentorloop's groundbreaking 'Mentoring Technology'. Mentorloop is native and easy for users of all ages to get excited to 'e-meet their mentoring match'. They are guided with well designed educational tutorials to assist in demonstrating the capabilities of the platform - for example; setting goals, creating calendar events that sync with work calendars and even sharing great TED talks. Mentorloop has now enabled us to track user activity and provide us with excellent (dare I say it - and sexy) reporting and analysis capabilities. The online bank of resources available to Mentors and Mentees has been a delightful surprise for our people as well. Mentorloop is bloody brilliant. And so is their wonderful team.

Minpunten:

It currently lacks emojis and GIF sharing within the loop chatting functions - staff would be thrilled with this and would probably never log off!

Mentorloop found my mentor!

Opmerkingen: Streamline and easy to navigate. Putting my information through on this platform has made my choices easier when it comes to finding a mentor for myself. I'm also pleased with the mentor I have received. Once my mentor and I found a schedule that works for both of us, we didn't actively use the Mentorloop platform actively.

Pluspunten:

It is easy to use and straightforward. You can go through the process of the intention and choose whoever aligns with the purpose of a mentor. I liked the email reminder to give my mentor feedback and vice-versa, to have a safe environment to encourage each other in this growth process.

Minpunten:

I don't think I have ever used the chat box area, not a bad thing since I did not have a reason to use it. I have requested to mentors before but it doesn't seem like they're active on the platform enough to accept my request since most of them didn't go through because of the overdue period.

Great to make connections

Opmerkingen: whilst i met my mentor through it, it hasn't been particularly helpful since or been a resource for me.

Pluspunten:

Able to find people easily, people who I wouldn't have come across otherwise

Minpunten:

Doesnt encourage mentoring throughout, difficult to get hold of people who don't respond, would be great if there was more of a matching feature.

Opmerkingen: Overall Mentorloop is a great tool for finding good mentor and/or mentes and it is very easy to use.

Pluspunten:

Mentorloop is easy to manager and very friendly. Highly recomended

Minpunten:

Sometimes I loose track of where are certail tools found.

Great experience, would recommend to anyone interested in developing themselves / their career!

Opmerkingen: Within 2 days I created a profile and reached out to potential mentors, safe to say I now have two people mentors that are helping me better my career!

Pluspunten:

Ease of use, great platform to find and collaborate with like minded professionals in your space. The UI is very friendly and it has a good tutorial explaining how everything works.

Minpunten:

If I could improve one thing, it would be the cross functionality with other applications. I say this lightly as I am not sure if there are restrictions internally within my organisation that are preventing the right permissions, and so someone else may have a different experience.

Opmerkingen: Overall, I enjoyed my experience and have met two lovely mentors I still meet with bi-weekly!

Pluspunten:

I really enjoyed the overall concept as a way to connect people who are looking to be in a mentorship! I have met some great people! The interface is pretty intuitive, I like the prompts it gives for your profiles (Biography, Role (mentor/mentee choice), Mentor Goals, etc.).

Minpunten:

The pool of people on my company's Mentorloop is fairly small, making it harder to find mentors/mentees within my area.

Their guidance has been invaluable, dispelling confusion and providing me with a much clearer vision for my future. Connecting with my mentor through Mentorloop has been a truly enriching experience. It's provided access to an exceptional individual I wouldn't have otherwise encountered in my day-to-day role. His invaluable advice and unwavering support have been unparalleled, significantly impacting my professional growth.

Minpunten:

I don't have anything negative to say about Mentorloop. All I would say to anyone considering it, I encourage you to take the leap! There's truly nothing to lose and so much to gain. It's been a wholly positive experience for me.

Providing Mentees Platforms to Showcase their success stories.

Opmerkingen: The overall experience has been enriching, specifically because of having a mentees to self motivated and has helped me learn a lot as well. As such, it has been a reverse mentorship as well.

Pluspunten:

The program is well structured and provides mentees and mentors to follow milestones. This help to maintain momentum and motivation.

Minpunten:

mentees-mentors who have made sufficient progress in the business objectives should have opportunities to present their success stories, including introduction to potential investors/venture funds.

Satisfied Mentorloop User

Opmerkingen: Its been good so far with some challenges in between.

Pluspunten:

Firstly I like the fact that there is a platform like this that exists for mentoring relationships. It is not very complicated and has all the required features like messaging, scheduling meetings, setting goals, attaching files and re-defined templates for notes. This helps keep track of the progress made in the mentoring relationship. I faced some issues in between for which I could reach out to coordinators. They supported me in whatever way they could.

Minpunten:

The interface changed in between around August. The coordinators were not able to see the meetings that I had with my mentor. So I had to relog those meetings.

Easy to use, good to be nudged as a reminder to keep progressing

Would be good to connect more to our internal communications to improve speed of connection. Also to have some more options in setting your process with your mentor/mentee - there are lots of ways and timings for how this will work and maybe it could be set up to support this. Otherwise feels very on or off vs more nuanced

A great hub to facilitate my mentor/mentee journey

Opmerkingen: Mentorloop has helped me immensely, I feel armed with alot of knowledge and tools to ensure I go about utilising my mentor effectively and has also given me the confidence to start my journey as a mentor. A great hub to facilitate this endeavor.

Easy to use layout with comprehensive guidance on how to become a mentor/fully utilise having a mentor

Minpunten:

Synchronisation between making a calendar invite on the desktop site vs syncing up in the Outlook calendar

It’s not always the easiest to navigate via mobile and since more persons are on the go, certain updates can be made to improve this aspect.

Opmerkingen: I have sent about 4 mentor requests and had 2 accepted. I am just having my first meetings with both of them, and so far all is going well! The platform is really easy to use and very helpful in forming connections.

Pluspunten:

I love that it makes connecting with people so easy!

Not really related to the platform, but I would love it if there were more ppl on it!

Mentorloop: Guiding My Journey to Success

Opmerkingen: In Mentorloop, I've met mentors who have been helping me plan my career and giving me advice on how to succeed. I'm so grateful to be part of this, and I can’t wait to see where it will lead me!

Pluspunten:

All the mentors and connections I can have in different departments within GroupM.

Minpunten:

Unfortunately, there aren’t many participants in the U.S.; most are in the U.K., so it can be hard to make in-person connections.

I love how easy it is to navigate around the platform and how speaking with potential mentors is intuitive.

It’s hard to think about what to write in my profile!

The program keeps me on track, and i get to review and have initial conversation with my mentor ad get to know each other before we started

It might be too many email notification... asking for rating every week

The process of how they match the person to ensure both of them can make best use of this service.

Just a suggestion: maybe there should be something about the next steps, as in once the mentee and mentor have had a converstion a couple of times, there should be a next step planned.
