Sometimes it is difficult to get through to a technican and I do not always receive a response to tickets that I raise.

The till system works seamlessly for my business. This is what I have been looking for. I really like the ability to check my reports using the cloud option. So I can check reports even when I’m at home.

Opmerkingen: I regret ever choosing EPOS Now for my business. The customer service is absolutely horrendous. Associates and trainers are clearly not trained to do their jobs and have little to no understanding of their own products. It’s incredibly frustrating to call for support, only to be left on hold indefinitely until you’re forced to hang up. Then, you’re stuck starting the entire conversation over with someone else who is just as unhelpful. The lack of professionalism and product knowledge is astounding. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere!

Everything outside of the physical payment system itself.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY..

Opmerkingen: Poor Service..not a good company to deal with . Don't give them your bank account # or credit card.
There are far better alternatives out there.
Get the Apple Square or deal with someone face to face who provides service after the sale

Seemed OK in beginning when they were selling the product.. After that All downhill in dependability and service after the sale.

Minpunten:

hard to reach anyone for tech support .. Debit machines are garbage. After we cancelled by phone they kept taking money from our account and charging our credit card. When we finally got in contact with someone again , we were told we had to terminate through the back office .After trying it didn't work .We advised them again and nothing was done ..They continued to take money from our account and charge our credit card . we were out over 600.00 until we put stop payment at the bank and cancelled the credit card.

Good efficient service

Opmerkingen: We have 3 till systems with them and once we got them set up correctly, they wall work really well. Great backend for inforn=ming our accounts and reporting. Allgood.

Their support team are helpful, courteous and skilled at solving problems. Highly recommended!

Pluspunten:

The logo. Everything else sucked. This is a very misleading question used by companies that can't look themselves in the mirror and accept that they are not that good. This question should be left to the insecure.

Minpunten:

The system never worked, the sales rep never showed up to help (although we had a meeting set) and for the past 14 months i have been paying for a service of which I NEVER used. When we finally had a chance to implement the system....the reader would not turn on! Just one failure after another and NOW I have to PAY them to break my contract!!!!! Are you kidding me??? When I tried to call during a very busy time to get this fixed (we are seasonal), I got stuck in the "sales force" continuous loop of BS, only to get frustrated and have a survey sent to me moments later that has NO WAY of contacting a real human...and only really lets you give them kudos. What are we actually teaching the next generation? That mediocre is ok as long as you hit the metric on your current survey goals??

The Windows system option has low SSD storage, this is just a flaw with the Windows kit.

Eposnow - a great system

Opmerkingen: My experience with Eposnow has been very good. I have had a number of occasions where I have needed to call the helpdesk and every time, the person has solved my query easily and with patience.

Pluspunten:

Eposnow is very simple and easy to use but on the odd occasion that I do need assistance, the help desk are always on hand and quick to help.

Minpunten:

I had a minor hiccough when I first joined and was not told about the need to have integrated card payments and subsequently incurred an unexpected charge. However, this was rectified.

Eposnow getting better

Opmerkingen: As mentioned in the pros section, Eposnow have become a lot better over time with better call answering times. I must say, if there is a genuine problem, they do seem to listen and act on your concerns.

Pluspunten:

Eposnow have got a lot better over time. When we first started with them back in 2020 there were a lot of teething problems with the system and mis selling. This has now been solved and we generally have a trouble free system. Their call answering times have gone a lot better albeit there is a long menu to get to the right solution.

Minpunten:

See above for the cons. I would like their system to be a bit more retail friendly and more flexible, but I suppose you cant have everything.

Great EPOS experience from software, sales to support

Opmerkingen: After experience with EPOS Now back in 2016, never thought I'd be using this product or company again, but what a massive difference these years have made. Nothing but positives so far. Which I hadn't messed about with the other companies the last 18 months.

Pluspunten:

Software had everything I was looking for, which most companies that have these features are charging the earth. [sensitive content hidden] from sales team has been incredible, and great experience from [sensitive content hidden] in support. The fact [sensitive content hidden] was able to help with an issue at 20:00 in the evening when most companies have sent the team home is impressive.

Minpunten:

A lot of self learning, which for me is ok as I've used a lot of different EPOS companies, and this is also reflective in the pricing being great value which is fair.

Back Office Support

Opmerkingen: It's been a good experience so far, lots to get used to and become familiar with, which will take some time.

Pluspunten:

[sensitive content hidden] was brilliant today, he understood the problems/issues I brought to him today and was quickly able to guide me and navigate my way around EPOS.

Minpunten:

There is an offline card somewhere within the system, which is taking payments but these payments are not filtering into our account.

Opmerkingen: We signed up with this company they have been unable to provide a working system and now its our fault and we have to pay and exit fee because we have no option but to leave them as we need a working till system. A truly pathetic excuse of a company who no doubt spend more money on there legal department than they do anywhere else.

No pros they are a truly awful company, if you sign with them be prepared to talk with a million different representatives and waste your time explaining everything again over and over again

Opmerkingen: Very positive. Easy to set up and runs well and the overall cost is excellent.

Pluspunten:

Easy setup and ongoing management of the system. Cloud sync allows remote management. Easy for our bar staff to use. Customer support is also very good - if we have an issue it's normally a 5 minute phone call to get it sorted.

Minpunten:

The previous product management was clunky, but the new version has streamlined it and now lets us change the pricing of multiple products at once. As we are a not for profit Social Club, initial verification by [sensitive content hidden] was a pain because we don't have a company number.

Opmerkingen: I wouldnt recommend after dealing with this company, good product,good sales and set up, doesnt make up for the absolutely terrible customer service when there is a problem.

Nice looking product, modern set up looks good on counter.

Minpunten:

customer service at your company is a joke, just pass the problem from person to person until the customer gives up calling?.. not sure why the customer service department of your company even exists because resolving issues efficiently and in a timely manor is impossible when getting passed from person to person and nothing gets done,if it wasnt so frustrating it would be funny your literally paying staff to answer a phone, apologise for the problem say they will fix it asap and then that request goes absolutely no where, repeat this process 50 times until you lose your mind and still problem wont be resolved.

Opmerkingen: Enjoy using this product and would recommend to other company’s. Customer service was exceptional especially when we had a problem with it. [sensitive content hidden] was amazing and fixed it quickly and super polite !

Pluspunten:

Epos is easy to use and perfect for businesses. We only use a small factor of the elements available. But it’s perfect and clear to keep track of all our sales and stock.

Minpunten:

Having regular updates that would happen automatically. And staff compared to a sales graph or table (in takings and who was clocked in) would be helpful to someone like me who manages it from a separate company.

Poor unreliable system. Card reader fails frequently.

Opmerkingen: It was okay until I couldn’t take payment multiple times the first day of being in business. Even with tech support and having it hardwired into the network, the card still failed multiple times the next 5 days. Does not deliver what it promise.

Pluspunten:

Sales reporting is actually good, it gives you a breakdown of everything including modifiers.

Minpunten:

Unable to collect payment. On grand opening day, card reader failed. I called tech support to fix issue. It failed again a couple hours later. And every single day for the first week in business it failed. I couldn’t take a lot of payments on grand opening week. I also wasted a lot of time calling tech support grand opening week. Time that should be been spent on grand opening things, not troubleshooting a card reader. This product is an epic fail. Don’t waste your time or money.

System Keeps Bugging Out, No in-Person Support

Nothing. The system bugs out and there’s no support during restaurant hours.

Minpunten:

That it keeps freezing. Then there’s no support during restaurant hours. I am being charged for things I didn’t sign up for and then the number they give you to sort it out doesn’t go to the right person. On top of this if you don’t sort it out (which you actually can’t), they stop access to your system.

Rang up on Saturday Morning as had an issue with prices not being updated on the till (turns out through no fault of my own) [sensitive content hidden] went through all the steps with me and even finished off the process for me making sure they were all correct ready for a big charity event we were hosting that day To add, EPOS Now even kindly donated 2 extra handheld terminals to help us deal with the volume of people we were expecting for our event. Every time we have gone to EPOS now with an issue or request [sensitive content hidden] and the team have always delivered
