Big Change Review - It can really help your business grow and it is fantastice for mobile workforce
Opmerkingen: We solved our scheudling problems and manging our mobile workforce, we went from our teams doing 1 to 2 jobs a day to over six at times. It really can make your business more cost effective. Great experience love the Big Change team.
Pluspunten:
It is actually very simple to use, easy to set up but you will time to do it properly. The Big Change team are great and will support you. If you are looking for a cost effective solution for your business I would recommend this.
Minpunten:
Data extraction for any business the data is so important, Big Change are working on this and once they get this right the product really sells it self.

Game changing software
Opmerkingen: Moving over to BC was a massive step for our company as we had been using our previous software for nearly 20 years. We knew we had to move away and find something new, and from the first demo we knew BC could be just what we needed. We have been able to move away from paper certs, using a third party tracking system, invoice more precisely.
Pluspunten:
As a company being able to send digital certs to clients through the automatic sending feature has save us many hours of admin labour. This has meant we can concentrate on other admin that can at times be left behind in priority. The live data and tracking and knowing where our resources are takes the guess work out of the job. Being able to add stock items through Job Watch is a major plus. Knowing what stock we have available and what the resources have on their vehicles is something we never had before so has made scheduling and ordering a much more streamlined experience.
Minpunten:
I would like to be able to customise by view in some areas not already available. Some reporting could be improved.

2 years+ BigChange use
Opmerkingen: BigChange has been a good, straightforward system for job management (after initial set up). It's easy to create quotes, contracts, jobs, and purchase orders, and to schedule to engineers. The customisable aspect of the system was good to be able to adapt to our processes and develop personalised report templates. After a promising start with lots of new releases and development, and good customer service, the service levels and developments have dropped off, and we have given up on many of the hoped-for additions.
Pluspunten:
BigChange is easy to use on a day-to-day basis - creating quotes, jobs and contracts and purchase orders is easy, after the initial set up. Scheduling is straightforward.I liked the suggestions portal and the feeling that improvements were being made based on our requirements (it's a shame that this no longer exists).
Minpunten:
We have always wanted an asset management system, but have never found a solution that would work with our custom job reports, and record trends. We looked into integration with laboratories, but costs were prohibitive. Things like being able to see calendars on devices, easier stock and timesheet management, having sites and jobs linked to account managers in an effective way, are all things we have never managed to sort out. Having additional costs for developments which would be helpful for all customers has deterred us. Many issues going to Roadcrew have never been completed, and service levels have dropped off in the last year.

Fantastic onboarding process

We are only a couple of weeks into using BigChange but found the Sales team to be refreshingly honest about its capabilities (and they brought donuts) and the onboarding process has been incredibly in depth.

The work that goes into getting it up and running, unavoidable but time consuming, although the pay off will make it worth while

A Big Change enabling us to streamline our Operations
Opmerkingen: Overall, Big Change has been the transformation our company was needing. We've combined multiple systems and business processes all into one place, and it's leading to everyone working together in a more integrated manner.
Pluspunten:
The biggest selling point for Big Change was the flexibility and modularity of being able to create our own Worksheets for what is a very unique business, with ePod requirements that aren't accommodated for in the majority of ePod systems.
Minpunten:
There's a lack of Data analysis available. The information is in there, but there's not enough ways of pulling it out currently.

Great product for security of the device
Opmerkingen: The ease of been able to lock down the tablets so that they are user friendly and secure if a device is lost, with them been used by drivers this can easily be done.
Pluspunten:
They have a knowledgeable team that can assist our IT in getting the best out of the product.
Minpunten:
As an internal IT, it would be advantageous to be able to manage certain parts of the administration ourselves.

Opmerkingen: I still like the playform, and we are yet to fully go live, but there have been some major frustrations in getting things set up and interfaced with ourmain CRM Microsoft AX platform.
Pluspunten:
Additional features above what we currently use.Ability to make changes instantly.Additional features like photos and service history.Ability to have files specific to customers and equipment.
Minpunten:
The whole creation of worksheets felt very clunky, and this wasnt fully explained or appreciated by us at the start. Good features, but sometimes difficult to build a worflow and worksheets that meet our specific requirements.Although i'm not on the job coordination team, i beleive the layout and interaction with jobs could be improved up, for instance, having to click through various items to see the full job details is tedious.The product didnt meet our need to have mutiple equipment in one job due to the stock/equipment being all under one place, this makes it difficult to identify service parts per item, we ended up having to have group jobs which isnt ideal.

Easy to Learn
Opmerkingen: Tracking or engineers and adding jobs to the planner has been one of the most beneficial part of this system for us. PO and Quotation Forms are extremely helpful and being able to link every document to their relevant job saves a lot of human error.
Pluspunten:
Big Change is really easy to use. Simple and effective training made it easy to learn this new system.
Minpunten:
When first transferring to Big Change, integration with our existing software did prove difficult. After some getting used to and extra training we use Big Change to the best of our ability.

The software is packed with features which help our day to day function. having vehicle tracking, shedulling, planning and electronic job cards/delivery notes, sales leads and CRM tools all in one place. Instant job status through the schedule tab means we can e the status of each job and each resource.
Minpunten:
Very data heavy, lots of initial input and adding information

Relatively few reports come as standard and there is a cost (time and money) to request the creation of additional bespoke reports

The team at BigChange have understood the needs of their customers. They listen to feedback and suggestions from their users which has helped them to develop a very comprehensive and flexible system. What makes them stand apart is the constant strive to improve the software. They consistently release regular updates and upgrades and will listen to new suggestions through their ideas portal. JobWatch is intelligent, featured packed and intuitive. It is also very easy to use once you have spent a little time exploring all the features of the software. JobWatch is also very customizable to your business type and processes.The customer support team 'RoadCrew' is second to none. I would go as far to say they have the best customer support of any business I have worked with.We have accelerated our business since we choose JobWatch and haven’t looked back since. I have no hesitation in recommending this software.

It can be tricky to onboard all your data at the beginning but with perseverance and a willingness to adjust the way you 'used to work' to fit in with the software, you really won't be disappointed.

Big Change - Good System once you get the hang of it but hard to learn and quite time consuming.
Opmerkingen: I am feeling better about it now but initially this is very hard for anyone to set up within a business that has their own job that they also need to do. The short videos take forever as you need to rewatch, then you have your test and then you have to try and Implement what you have just watched. If you forget a part of it or it doesn't make sense you have to go back to the video again. Very Hard Work and Extremely time consuming. What would be better is that everything is set up in the back office by big change and then training is provided to the customer on how to use it.
Pluspunten:
I like the Scheduling feature once the jobs are on. Very easy to schedule and reallocate jobs when you need to. I also like the Easy Views - This is one of the most helpful sections of the system.
Minpunten:
Having to create a Customer site (Child Company) for every new job you get and then creating a new job especially when you may never work at that site again. would be much easier quicker and convenient if you could free type the site address in. The training side of it I have to admit is awful. It has taken me so long to get where I am now and most of that has been my time sat playing around with the system - The training videos are too fast, it skips parts out or assumes you know where exactly you are meant to go on the system to do or find something, or it says this part will be covered in another module. A guide for logging a customer - Guide for Logging a Customer Site - A Guide for inputting a job - A Guide for raising an Invoice would be so much better than trying to watch a video take notes and then try and remember how to do it, Esp as customers are expected to input and set up everything virtually within the system. MAPS - It would be helpful if it would advise how many miles away the engineer is until he reaches his destination. JOBS / INVOICES - Once the Jobs or Invoices are complete you can't amend any of the details this is very annoying as you are having to duplicate everything and then save any pictures etc and worksheets and move them over to the next one. ALSO the description you type when raising the job. If you make a spelling mistake and the Job is complete you can't correct this field - This is then on the customers Invoice.

Work made easier.
Opmerkingen: This software lends itself to so many different types of businesses, simply because the the customer services crew are so knowledgeable. They are helpful and always listen carefully to you. I can not fault them.
Pluspunten:
Being able to create a customer record and all the information at your finger tips. Jobs, bookings, equipment, documents, notes and the ability to FLAG items that need a follow up. Alerts can also be set up for so many things it helps keep everyone focused on weekly updates or even quarterly tasks to be completed. There are so many helpful options available.
Minpunten:
It has so many options, alerts, flags, notes, noteflags and reporting facilities it takes a while to try them all. This is a blessing and a curse. Once a working process is in place it is definitely a blessing.

The good, the bad and the getting it right!
Opmerkingen: On boarding was fantastic, being able to use the system to achieve what we want is a really good feature. Down side for myself, we as a business don't utilize it in other departments such as accounts. Doing this would stream line the whole process as Big Change can certainly do it

NOTES!!!! being a transport manager being bale to have files on the fleet, with real time actions, keeping all documents together showing a stream from report to completion of faults and issues which keeps us compliant

One small change in a job type for example and you have to go back and change everything related to this, worksheets, alerts, ....

Opmerkingen: From our first interaction with BigChange we have been impressed with their incredible customer service. The onboarding process was very professional and relatively straight-forward. We have and still have some significant issues, but BigChange have tackled them head on and ultimately I believe we will get them resolved.
Pluspunten:
Cloud-based means we no longer have to maintain a server. Day to day usage is a doddle the quality of information returned to us from the engineer's PDAs is tailored to us.
Minpunten:
The lack of MOT certification, this costs us thousands of pounds a year. We manage 7000 properties for our main customer and managing this could be better.

Opmerkingen: Brilliant support provided quickly. It's fast, efficient and easy to use.
Pluspunten:
Ease of use, job scheduling is fast, easy and simple. Worksheets can be created to suit job categories and business needs. Fleet management provides reminders when vehicle maintenance is due and daily reports via vehicle checks. Expenses can be attached to work orders in order to set the correct costs for invoicing clients. Vehicle tracking and reporting, financial reports, it's all there in one place.
Minpunten:
As our business grows, I'm sure there will be additional features we will come across that would be beneficial but so far I can't say there is anything we don't like. Perhaps the process of adding new resources could be slightly easier.

My Big Change Experience
Opmerkingen: I personally love the software and can see the future potential to save hundreds of manual hours within the team in the long term moving forward. The customer support is second to none in terms of being able to contact 24/7 to resolve any issues you may have.
Pluspunten:
The features of the software are extensive and the variables to what it can offer are limitless. Its is clear and visually nice on the eye when working on the software on a daily basis.
Minpunten:
The lack of integration from Big Change to implement in to our business and transition from the old software we were using. We were unaware of the huge transition changes we had to implement to get the system working the way we would like. It also does have limitations that we would like to have access to, and be able to make alterations if we needed to. You also need to have advanced knowledge of word and Excel to be able to fully understand the software fully. I do have expert knowledge in both word and excel therefore 85% of the issues have been resolved, but the rest of the staff dont and there is the problem.

Opmerkingen: So far Big Change has helped us reduce our paper usage, allows our resources to provide more information for all jobs. Any changes to any reports can be carried out much easier as we used to use paper copies of reports. Big Change has helped us save a lot of time on a daily basis.
Pluspunten:
System is suitable for many different types of jobs our company require on a daily basis. Schedule a job cannot be easier, likewise to edit a scheduled job is quick and simple.
Minpunten:
Can be rather difficult to set up CRM or jobs with many different settings, different features such as job types, job categories and templates are needed to set up a job, which can be time consuming or complicated for new users to remember.

Life changing
Opmerkingen: BigChange literally changed my life. In an instant we’ve done away with paper diaries, paperwork full stop and just a lot of time wasting process. The system is the beating heart of our business and everything except the finances runs through the system. We even track our vehicles and are working towards offering live time updates to our customers as well as letting them book their own appointments. I’ve recommended the system to several companies including a competitor and they’ve all gone with it.

I found the set up difficult and technical however this was mid covid and the team were adjusting to this. They did help.
